Mixed emotions

Well I found out today that for my final average in speech I got a 'B' no real number grade just a 'B' here's what I've got to say about that.... change it to an 'A' or I turn you into tomorrow's headline!

   MIDIs

   Another Speech

Great just when I think my confidence is coming back, what do they do but bring me back down with another speech due on Monday. Great *starts whimpering*. This time it is a persuasive speech so I'm not as worried, but I still need to get a great score on it to pass with a decent gradel. What I was thinking about doing at first was doing a persusasive speech on the dangers of cosmetic sugery, but there were two other girls that pretty much said that they were going to do that, and it really suck because I already had most of it written because a couple of months ago with my high school newspaper we put together a centerspread on just that. Now with that in mind I was thinking about talking about how the media/society glamourizes everything. What do you think?? Edit: Ok, so I did my speech on the glamour addiction that America has...I also made a short powerpoint for my visual aid...I was shocked to find out today 6/30 that I got a 90 on my speech ^_^ my professor said I just needed to practice a little more and I could of had them at hello ^_*

   Speech

Ahhh....speaking of the summer session classes I almost forgot that I need to put together a demonstrative speech...I'm not too sure what I want to do. I'm thinking about how to write a good newspaper headline...if you have any other suggestions please tell me...I need it by tonight at 11:00pm. ahhh !!!!!!!! Edit: well that didn't go good at all...I didn't get to time my speech right so by the time that I was getting to the demonstrative part of it time was already up...and I got a 40 on that speech so the next one I do has to be really great just to get my average up. I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!!!!!

   Good Mood

Hiya out there in cyberspace...me again. Man I'm in a good mood this morning, maybe because starting today at about 6:00pm I get to move out of my parents house for 3 weeks...ahh three weeks of no interrogations. It's gonna be great. Oh for you who don't really know me...I'm in this Upward Bound program that for the years you are in high school is college prep, and once you graduate you are awarded for your dedication full tuition for the first summer session after graduation. Anyway the summer session is six weeks with us commuting for the first 3 weeks and staying at the dorms the final 3 weeks. It's pretty awesome, especially in the early years of high school because you can brag to your friends how you've lived a college life.

   My First Quiz

Yeah so this morning I decided I wanted to make a quiz. And at that time I was also trying to decide which MIDI file I wanted to put on this site of mine.    Backroom Message

You know the spot in the backroom where it says friends. Yeah, that thing. Well when you still are fairly new to making your site, and you don't really have people posting with you, IMing you and such it says "You don't have any friends" which is really sad when you go to think about it. But the first few times I saw it I couldn't help but think of Gollum, in "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" when he is doing his Dialog of Smeagol and Gollum, fighting for the sanity of Smeagol. Ah what a good movie I think I'll watch it later today.

   Random Thoughts & Hugs

As depressing as the subject of lost love is I do not find it so depressing that I cannot bear to live any longer. I just live with regret now. I find anime to help me get through life. As funny as it may sound, television helped me graduate with honors...later in my life I think I shall write a book on that. I am slightly embaressed to admit that I have no real talents, sure I am good, even considered great at many things, but I have no real flair for any single one. I can act very well, more human that most, I can sing fairly well. Ah singing. I remember as a kid going to Mexican Resurants and singing kareoke, what fun. And of course you know there was always that group of drunks singing "Jeramiah was a bullfrog" classic. I dunno. I guess I am still really bummed over not being able to tell the love of my life how I felt and still feel about him. Perhaps it is because people throw aroung the word, like it is just a cheap thing as a handshake now. Perhaps it is because many girls I know have thrown those words at him before, but not while he was there, I was listening, I don't like to follow the whole crowd of girls flocking to one guy, but I couldn't help it. The more I pushed away the more he came to me, in a matter of speaking. The more I tried to run away from my feelings, or thought that they were finally gone. There he was, just as I remembered him, not as he may have remembered me. Ah, and when we hugged I never wanted to let go. Hug are so much better than kissing, kissing is so akward, truly it is, the first kiss two people share is the best but every kiss after that is just trying to recreate that first one, trying to remember that feeling. But hugs on the other hand can be just so intimate and personal. I could use a hug everyday. With a hug you can literraly melt into someone's entire being. You can touch someone with a hug, you can comfort someone with a hug, nearly always. Kissing just screws things up, especially when the kissing is behind someone's back. Has anyone gotten into serious trouble for hugging someone??? Really??
