   Different
Here's a poem I did 4 school a long time ago. It had 2 rhyme so don't complain ok?

How come u treat us different
We're alike you and I
Why do you hate us so much
Why do you make us cry?

We are blessed with a gift
Why do you want to take it away
You put us down with your words
And you think that's ok?

You laugh at us because of our skin
Of what happened long ago
We broke free of our chains from you
Is that why you hate us so?

To me you sometimes make me sick
With that frown on your face
The hatred that you have against us
Well, you made a big mistake

Because we are black and beautiful
We're intelligent and responsible too
We're united, creative, and genuine
We're no different than you.
