Scary Shit about Dashboard Confessional
Recently I was listening to the radio; and something seriously weird came on.

It was Dashboard Confessional. Now, I need to clarify. I've seen these guys live four times. They come from my hometown. But they don't sound the same anymore. They have a whole shitload of new instruments or something. I'm torn. I like Vindicated, but it's nothing like their old stuff (which is a hell of a lot better.)..

So yeah. Totally sold out. Man. Everyone friggen sells out. They don't sound the same anymore.

I'm kinda sad. :( No more radio for me.

Keenspace happenings
I'm now waiting for Keenspace to issue me a password. Apparantly it takes seven days. It was three days ago that I got the mail that said I was approved for their site.

We'll see how this goes.

I'm excited now. I don't want to post the comic until I have my site up, but I have three pages already finished. Storyline is written out, and I think it'll turn out really nice.

Wee.

I may not be able to go to the convention next month. One of my friends backed out on me. (not purposely; he couldn't get three days off work.) I also haven't heard anything from Amber, one of the other people who would be going.

I guess it would be okay if it was just me and Mya. But.. I dunno. I gotta figure out the prices of hotel rooms.

I dyed my hair twice in the last few days, and I think it's finally normal again. God, never ever go to a goddamned salon. You think 'wow, they sure do a nice job with pretty colours', but then BAM! You try to dye it out? And it just won't happen!

So yeah, three tries later, and most of that red and purple streaky crap is gone. I'm never going to a hairdresser again. My friend Terri can cut hair, and Brittany knows how to dye it. Good enough for me.

Sorry about the lack of updates. I'm alive, but kinda sick. Also frusterated at waiting so long for Keenspace.

Gah. Well. Thats it I guess.

Woot! Finished!
I finished (finally) the drawing I promised to get done for Eric like, last week. I'm so happy. It took a really long time, but most of the characters look like they're supposed to.

Random Things
I just wrote a huge post, and then lost it by clicking on a link in an im.

I'm a bit depressed. It turns out that the kitty I brought home yesterday is gonna need shots that cost something like 270 dollars after taxes. I was really crushed about this at first, but then I realised I can pay for it, if I just use the money I was saving for my computer.

I felt kinda bad. I mean, I didn't wanna spend that money. It's just money though, you know? Thats all it is. I don't think thats more important than an animal who needs help. Marco needs help.

I'm a bit frusterated in the sense that the girl who gave him to me told me that he had all of his shots when he didn't, too. It's a bit irresponsible, isn't it? I wish she would've told me. And if she did, I need the records of which ones. I don't think it would be a good idea to double up on shots for a kitten.

He'll be okay, though. We'll work through this. Everyone offered to pay a quarter (Me, Luke, Terri, and Taber) but I really feel this is my responsibilty.

I hate the sun, you know that? I know that sounds terribly morose, but I really do. Whenever it's really hot out, I burn easily. My coat was in the wash today, so I had nothing to hide me from it, and I have a really icky burn on my arms.

I wear a hat and my trenchcoat all year. It actually keeps me a lot cooler. Since I burn easily. I wish my coat was dry.

.. been questioning religion lately. I don't know what to make of myself. I think my beliefs match a lot of Pagan ones, and I really don't believe in anything Christian.. but for now, I think I'm resigning naming myself to any specific culture. I respect quite strongly anyone who can follow a religion. But I don't think I can until I decide moreso who I am. I need to follow something that believes more in the rights of every creature around me, I think. I don't know if I'm making any sense.

I rarely make a lot of sense.

Today I found out that there's animal fat in soap. Isn't that disgusting? I'm really glad I have stuff from the body shop now. No fuckin way in hell I'll use anything else, anymore.

Man, thats disgusting.

.. I wish there was an easier way to avoid products that include animals in the production. I've cut my intake of milk and cheese, and now I eat more soy than anything. But I still wish I could do more.
