Regarding the recent events in Asia
Being someone without a television set, I was left behind on the news of what had happened in Asia until just recently.

If you don't know what happened, you should click here to find out.

It's a really horrible circumstance, and I can't really tell myself what to think of it. They think the tidal waves may continue, and over 63, 000 people have already died in these attacks. A friend of a friend of mine is teaching English in Thailand; it's really close to home, being right across the water from Victoria.

If you think you can help (I'm gonna, but not until payday)
Unicef, and World Vision are both taking donations that go to help the victims of these distasters.

I can't afford to give more than fifty dollars, but I figure, anything will help right now. A lot of people died here, and a lot of families need help rebuilding their lives, and their homes. If you can afford to give anything, it helps A LOT of people, and you really should.

Thanks for reading; this is really important. Sometimes I think we really take advantage of how safe and happy we are..
