Hello! = )
I am very happy! Yesterday and today are both snow days, and today was supposed to be the last school day before winter break! No more school for a few weeks!
We had an ice storm on Wednesday, and Michi's power went out. My mom invited her to come over to stay the night so she wouldn't freeze her butt off. So Michi came over, and my dad made us watch a TV movie about Pope John Paul II. After that he told us we had had enough electronics for the night. Of course, being me, I ignored this and lost electronics for the rest of the weekend. He made us go back to my room, and we had to play a retarded game with stuffed animals where we both ruled over a tribe. Michi wanted her tribe to come and kill my tribe, but they were so afraid of my mad fighting skills that they tried to make friends with us instead. In the morning, we were told that we were going to Lake Hartwell because my parents have a house there that they rent out to people and they needed to make sure no trees fell on it. Then my dad found out that there was no power down by the lake so we aren't going after all. Also, I'm going to Michi's house soon! That is what has been going on with me, so... well, yeah. The end. |

Hello All!!!!
Does everybody like my site? I finally got the courage to change the colors(I was convinced that I would screw up the whole page if I tried to change them). I had a great day at school, but I will get to that in a minute. I wanted to tell everyone that I had my band concert last night, and it was a lot of fun! We totally messed up on the last song(stupid drummers!!!), but no one noticed! Ahahahaha!
Well, anyway, I had a fun day at school(gasp! fun? at school? how is that possible?!). I am going to try to say something about every class.
1st: Language Arts
Teacher: Burns
Substitute: Korman
Um... lets see... somethimg good about her class... hmmmm... that's a toughie. I'll get back to you on that one.
2nd: Band
Teacher: Styles
We got to watch our concert on video!
3rd: Literature
Teacher: Burns
Substitute: Korman
We didn't do any literature! Hooray!
4th: Algebra I
Teacher: Rhoney
Everyone was asking questions about a quiz, so we didn't have time to do any math.
5th: Advisory
Teacher: Rhoney
I got to eat lunch!
6th: French
Teacher: Maloney
Ummm... we did French stuff?
7th: Science
Teacher: Varner
Substitue: Can't spell it, but it sounds like Pelish
The sub told the funniest joke! I'll tell you in a minute.
8th: Social Studies
Teacher: Powell
Substitute: Till
After class, all the boys who rode busses were acting crazy, so me and Mrs. Till were talking about how annoying the boys were being right in front of their faces! Ahahahahahaha!
Okay, so here's the "joke du jour"
A couple lived in Minnesota. It was January and almost their anniversary, so they decided to spend it in Florida where they had gone for their honeymoon. The woman had to go to a business meeting before she could go, so the man went ahead to wait for her. He got to their hotel and found that they had free Internet access, so he decided to e-mail his wife. However, he made a mistake with the e-mail address.
Meanwhile, somewhere in Texas...
A widow had just gotten home from her husband's funeral. Her son reminded her to check her e-mail, because everyone would be sending her e-mails about her husband. She opens her e-mail and begins to read.
Later...
The widow's son enters the room to find his mother fainted and lying on the floor. He looks at the computer and sees this e-mail:
Darling,
I just wanted to let you know I arrived safely. They have free Internet access here. I await your arival tomorrow.
Love,
your husband
P.S. It sure is hot down here.
That's it! Did you like it? |

so....tired.......
I'm very tired. Do you know why? Because everyone but me thinks that Thanksgiving is a time for family. So, of course, my family has to come for a visit. Well, my one cousin thinks I am, like, the best person in the world. Whenever I say I want to go to the park or something, she says she wants to go to the park as well. She is getting better as she gets older, but she still loves me and wanted to sleep in my room. This morning, she got up and went downstairs and her mom asked her if she wanted to go for a walk. She said yes, she would, and she asked my mom if she could wake me up to ask me if I wanted to go, too. Well, I'm not a morning person, and I was not about to go on a walk at 9:30 am. But my cousin tells me to get up because we are going for a walk. She makes it sound like I have to, but I don't quite believe her. I get up anyway, so she leaves to go look for her shoes. Then I overhear my aunt talking to her. She says,"Is Monica coming with us?" And my cousin says,"Yup, she's getting dressed right now, AREN'T YOU, Monica?" Then my aunt says to her,"You, know, she doesn't have to come with us if she doesn't want to." So I laid back down on my bed, but I couldn't get back to sleep. Then I was so tired I couldn't go hiking with them, so I'm stuck at home. My mom thinks I'm doing homework, so I'll have to get off now. Byes!!! |

so......bored......AGAIN!
For lang. arts class, we have to read two chapters of The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain every night. That book must be the most boring book on the face of this planet! Here is an exert (sp?):
"'They were dressed in striped hose of black and tawny, velvet caps graced at the sides with silver roses, and doublets of murrey and blue cloth, embroidered on the front and back with the three feathers, the prince's blazon, woven in gold.'"
And this goes on for a whole page! They also talk all wierd, saying "prithee", "dost", and deign". There also 33 chapters, plus a conclusion. The torture will never end! |

First...post...EVER!!
I'm really happy 2-day!! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! Okay, calm down. Deeeeep breaths... okay, I feel better now. I'm just in a great mood because at school today I got a good grade on a test. That made you this happy? you ask. No, that just helped me along! I didn't do my homework for first period(tee hee)so I had to quick finish before the bell rang. Well, I didn't quite finish in time, but the teacher (who teaches my ex-favorite subject. She makes it really boring) made us listen to this story on CD, so I sat there and finished my homework. She had no idea!!!!!!!(In your face Mrs. Burns! Ha ha!) That makes you happy? you ask. Well, DUH!!! Mrs. Burns is one of the most e-vile teachers I have ever had! So as I was saying before I was RUDELY interupted, during lunch we could sit wherever we wanted! YES! I got to sit by my friends instead of sitting all alone while all the boys sat three seats away from me and wonder why I always sit by myself! So then in French class all the LOSERS who sold magazine subscriptions to raise money for the stupid school that most of us people will be leaving in two years anyway before they use the money WE raised to help the school went to a party for forty minutes to play on a giant inflatable slide, so the French teacher moved me so I was sitting by one of my friends for once in my life! So then I went to math club after school, which was pretty uneventful. The most exciting part was when the person who brought drinks found out that there were enough water bottles for everyone to have their own. Then afterwards when me and my friend Michi were waiting for her mom to come and pick us up, this short guy named Kevin was waiting for his mom too. Two weeks ago, he wore a Full Metal Alchemist shirt, so me and Michi asked him if we could call him Ed (cause Ed's real short) and he actually said yes!!! And that is why I am in such a good mood today. |
