I'm very tired. Do you know why? Because everyone but me thinks that Thanksgiving is a time for family. So, of course, my family has to come for a visit. Well, my one cousin thinks I am, like, the best person in the world. Whenever I say I want to go to the park or something, she says she wants to go to the park as well. She is getting better as she gets older, but she still loves me and wanted to sleep in my room. This morning, she got up and went downstairs and her mom asked her if she wanted to go for a walk. She said yes, she would, and she asked my mom if she could wake me up to ask me if I wanted to go, too. Well, I'm not a morning person, and I was not about to go on a walk at 9:30 am. But my cousin tells me to get up because we are going for a walk. She makes it sound like I have to, but I don't quite believe her. I get up anyway, so she leaves to go look for her shoes. Then I overhear my aunt talking to her. She says,"Is Monica coming with us?" And my cousin says,"Yup, she's getting dressed right now, AREN'T YOU, Monica?" Then my aunt says to her,"You, know, she doesn't have to come with us if she doesn't want to." So I laid back down on my bed, but I couldn't get back to sleep. Then I was so tired I couldn't go hiking with them, so I'm stuck at home. My mom thinks I'm doing homework, so I'll have to get off now. Byes!!! |
