Byooon!
~Here comes the Thnikkaman~

I just realized- I have watched the Hare Hare Yukai AT LEAST 50 times. It seems like so much, but once I think about it:

watched series in kyon (airing) order, never skipping ED

watched series in haruhi (chronological) order, never skipping ED

watched creditless special at least 20 times learning the dance steps/on other occasions

watched some episodes on crappy old laptop

watched it or parodies of it on youtube

Wow. I'm one big Haruhiist. I mean, I do watch other anime, but this is just my all time favorite. Notice how we refer to ourselves as a cult, as opposed to a gropelol group of retards. Well, I hope maybe I've converted some people into Haruhiists! Another list, here's a mission log:

Ethica: FBC (FAN BEFORE CONTACT)
The mp3 player C++ class hero of legend. Also known as "crystalstarlight", but not on myotaku. Haven't made contact since. Location unknown. If you're reading this, Ethica, answer my call!

Charlie: STATUS UNKNOWN
Was in my html class. Showed him videos of the op, ed, and awesome koi no mikuru densetsu (couldn't watch episodes because the internets was broke). Also later showed episode 14 of lucky star from CD. He may or may not have seen the episodes, since veoh removed the ones that piggymoo linked to.

Former anime fan: MISSION FAILED
Name unknown. Was in the same html class as Charlie and me. Looks like she saw it before and was discouraged by its randomness. I told her to watch the second and not the first episode, but looks like she lost all intrest in anime at an unknown point in time.

Rest of html class: FISSION MAILED
Crowded around me like some kind of spectacle, as people tend to do. They were most likely put off by its perverted appearance, due to the Mikuru cheerleading sequence of Bouken Desho Desho and the entirety Koi no Mikuru Densetsu. Came on too hard (but with spirit!) . Won't repeat this mistake.

Hikari: FBC
The one Rishi talks about (that's not her real name). In my class. Noticed the label on the spool of CDs which I gave to Rishi (and, unfortunately, were returned the next day - she can't play .AVI files anywhere due to limited computer access!). The only person I know so far who also knows the Hare Hare Yukai, though not as well as me (Ethica's knowledge of the dance steps is unknown, due to being a fan before me) .

Ben Katz: MISSION FAILED
Junior year- is in my class, but recoiled after seeing me reading my copy of The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya. However, he doesn't completely hate me. Zero chance of later conversion. If you rebuff beyond all hope, your full name will be posted! Bewares!

Nathan: CONVERSION INCOMPLETE
[ ||||||---- ] 60%
Old friend of mine. Wasn't a hardcore anime fan, but didn't automatically rebuff or recoil. The mission is going as planned. Need a way to burn a dvd of the episodes to complete the mission.

Random Bleach fan: CONVERSION INCOMPLETE
[ |--------- ] 15%
He does read manga, but this guy apparently still has a life, as well as his "manly pride", so he may get scared away. I'm in his 7th period class, so I plan to introduce it to him slowly without making any sudden moves. Don't want to come off as "insane". Although this method isn't in the spirit of a Haruhiist, we must remember our goal: to convert as many as possible! Remember, with each one converted, the chance increases of one of them going into the conversion phase and possibly even setting off a chain reaction. Maybe, the spirit of a Ryokoist (Asakuraist?)? Don't worry, Ryokoists (Asakuraists?), she returns for the second season! (which is supposed to fit in with the events of The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, I thinks)

This log will be updated in newer posts as time progresses. If you are a Haruhiist who shares my goals, join with me! Any tips on converting the bleach fan?

~There goes the Thnikkaman~
