My Avatar

Hi there. Bare with my work, as I'm still learning to draw Anime (been drawing realitic portraits professionally for a while now, so talk about a change!) If you want to see some of my other, non-anime art, check out my art site, Uninhibited Art.

   I'm confused
It's sad really, more than confusing. I've come across two different InuYasha pieces that are ripoffs of other InuYasha fanart. There are enough noticable difference (and name differences, though that can be explained) that a person can tell they are not the original. Why do people do this? I will admit to having been inspired by other's fanart, but I would never COPY other's fanart. Maybe it's just me, but this really isn't okay.

   Hi all. :)
Well, I've got a couple pieces up. Glad to see some people are enjoying them. And thanks to all who have signed my guestbook.

In responce to one gb signing, Jade, I just recently started drawing Anime, and given the fact that I'm a professional portrait artist, it's not an easy change. Besides that, I really enjoy seeing other people take on anime and give it their own twist. I've seen some very Disney-like style that have worked wonderfully because they are that person's own style. Check out DarkKagome's work. So what if it's not exactly on model. The work is FABULOUS, because it is her own. That's the beauty of fan art - take a character, and make it your own work.

Sorry if this "hello" has turned into a rant. Had issues at work yesterday that I'm obviously venting right now. (Tell me that didn't look like her..grrr) *ahem*
