   The 6th Sense o_O

Wow...I just watched the 6th Sense last night (at last) and I now have enough hyper energy to run away from any ghost ^^ It's a totally awesome movie though, and I love it so great ^^

Anyway, today I start packing TT_TT As it turns out, my mom and little brother have to stay in Kenya as my dad and I fly back to Canada, and they'll be here until the adoption process is complete TT_TT I'm gonna miss them SO MUCH!!! TT_TT

Anyway, I just had a thought...when my younger brother is 15, I'll be 30, my older brother will be 38, my mom will be 60, and my dad will be 70...*hides under bed* What are we getting ourselves into?!! (No, I'm just kidding, I love my little brother so much, so he's totally worth it all ^^

Oh yeah, his 1st birthday is in September, so my mom and him should be with us in Canada by then ^^

So...today's another average day, except that my dad's going to Mombasa for a while, so me and my mom are just gonna kill time together ^^ I made cookies today (chocolate chip ;P *droooooool* so I'm gonna be getting some to some of my friends here ^^

   Just a typical day ^^...

Well, the earth tremors are done I think, and today's a new day. I slept until noon, then got up and had lunch, that's about all...it's so nice to have such a relaxing morning ^^ (or afternoon I should say ^^')

   Earth tremors... o_O

Man, yesterday was so scary, farther into the afternoon, there was an earthquake near mount Kili (Kilimanjaro) and the earth tremors traveled all the way to our house. At the time I was up in my room, and the house was shaking so bad...dang...that was so scary TT_TT The shaking stopped after a while, but I'm still freaked out... I've never realized just how fragile our house was compared to mother nature o_O

Anyway, I spent the day in Nairobi today...and totally blew my money on manga o_O My parents are gonna kill me when they find out that I have nothing left TT_TT (I'm so dead!!!) *crawls under bed and hides* Anyway, I bought a sheepskin by the side of the road for a rug, so my feet won't get cold in the morning ^^ (As well as to bring something more from Kenya ^^) Oh my gosh, there were just more tremors, it was shaking the house so bad TT_TT I'm so scared TT_TT

   Death by...pizza? o_O

Arrrgh... yesterday I sure blew it TT_TT My parents were in Nairobi all day yesterday, I knew they'd be tired coming home, so I decided to make supper for them. I decided pizza was a good choice...

I started with the pizza dough, but I killed the yeast with hot water so the dough didn't rise. The recipe for the dough was supposed to cover at least two large pans, I had to push it to fit one small one TT_TT

Also, since i couldn't find a recipe for the sauce, I made one out of my head, and it was far to watery, as well as I forgot to make the pizza crust into a sort of trench (my bad TT_TT)

As it turned out, the pizza crust didn't cook, the sauce was too salty, and the cheese I used formed a sort of rind on the top >:P *gags*

Of course, my parents ate it and said it was good, but they were so hungry they'd about eat anything o_O

Anyway, to take it to a more positive note, I've found my pencil case today XD So now I get to draw some more ^^ Also, I'm going into Nairobi tomorrow, so I'm gonna check for prices on i-pods, since my discman isn't working TT_TT I've got about 3000/- from the sale (about $50 Canadian) as well as 600/- from another sale, so I'm gonna check prices.

   *sigh of relief* VACATION!!!

Ah, I'm so happy that it's vacation at last ^^ However, life sucks because I lost my pencil case which holds my inking pens, erasers, and mechanical pencils, so I can't draw TT_TT

Other than that, vac's been going good. My parents had to take a trip into Nairobi today on matatus (Kenyan transportation) so I got to stay home to take care of my little brother XD I love him, he's so easy to take care of since he sleeps all the time. Before we met him, he had been abandoned by his parents at the hospitol, so all he could do all day was stare at a white wall. There were cockroaches in his bed, and the nurses were so busy that he had no stimulation. When I first met him, it was his first time out of the hospitol, at our church. He had a glazed look in his eyes, and wouldn't make a sound. Now, it's about six months after we met him, and he's changed so much ^^ He's laughing and smiling, and jabbering baby lanuage, but is still more quiet than most babies around. Honesty though, he's changed so much ^^

Anyway, today was good, I got to sleep in, then got up and watched some Avatar, fed my brother lunch, had lunch, and now I'm here ^^ All in all an uneventful day, but I love it, I haven't been this relaxed for the past seven months ^^

   I love my mommy ^^

Man, my mom is so cool ^^ Today was Sunday, so we went to the Kenyan church since school's out. The service was good (except that is was that time of month *clears throat* [enough said]) So as we're walking back, my mom and I were planning on watching the Devil Wears Prada, as my dad went to the Swahili service, and my mom jokingly said "What would [Jesus] think of the movie if he were watching it with us?" But I thought she was talking about my dad (she said "he" not "Jesus")So I said; "oh, he won't be there, he's gone to the Swahili service!" (for the life of me, I couldn't understand why she cracked up like that ^^')

Anyway, my mom's so cool, I mean, she listened to that song "I'm too Sexy" and she was singing it for the next two weeks XD It totally shocks my dad, but I guess that's to be expected ^^ I mean seriously, she acts just like a teenager, she's so much fun to talk to ^^

   How can it be so cold on the equator?!!

Ahhh, it's so friggin cold here, I'm freezing. Come on, it's not supposed to get this cold here in Kenya (I guess it helps that I'm up in the mountains, but still...)

Anyway, I've been watching Gilgamesh, and it's pretty good. The art bugs me a bit, but the story-line's good, and I like the character design ^^

Me and my best friend had to say goodbye today, since her older brother has graduated, so she's going back to her passport country tonight. We hung out all day, and our sleepover last night was a lot of fun too, but when it came to saying goodbye, we ended up just hugging and crying TT_TT Now I feel so depressed, so I think I'll end this post.

Today my friend is sleeping over, and we've gotten some movies to watch (Matrix, The Devil Wears Prada, etc.) I also borrowed the first three discs of Gilgamesh, so that should be interesting ^^
