4 DAYS!!!! XD
Yay! My countdown continues, and now it's only 4 days till my brother gets here!!! XD We've been deciding what we're gonna do when him and his girlfriend get here, so we're getting all hyped up! XD Today we ran out of gas in the stove, right in the middle of me making lunch! *cries* It was ramen and egg wraps, so we had to microwave the ramen, but couldn't eat the egg wraps because I had to scramble the eggs... *cries* I guess I'll have to make them when we have gas again... I'm already on page 15 of my manga, and it's actually looking really good! Sadly, there is so known scanner nearby... so I'll have to figure that out later... (I'm only working on the rough draft too... I've still got a ways to go...) After lunch, my mom and me headed up to play on the zipline today! I must've been feeling more confident, because I pushed off harder and almost killed myself when I hit the end of the line! (the bar I was sitting on flipped up, and the tow rope got wrapped around the supporting cable and almost dehorsed me coming back! o.O (I know it sounds confusing, but it was intense!) It was fun though! After I went down the zip-line a bit more, we went down and had a visit with my former dorm mom, so we had a nice cup of chai (Kenyan tea) and a really great visit! So yeah, I've been checking up on colleges and universities, and I've finally found one that I really want to attend! It's in BC, and it is so huge, and beautiful, and has some of the BEST looking art classes I've ever seen! XD However... it's also savagely expensive... so I'm gonna have to get a few scholarships... which is a pitiful subject at my highschool... *depressed*... Questions 1. What is your dream job? 2. When you go to the carnival or midway, what is your favorite ride? 3. What are you planning to do once you get off the computer? My Answers 1. a mangaka! 2. It's where they hook you into this harness thing, and it turns you upside down and sideways, and spins you around, and stuff! It's so much fun!!! XD 3. Work on my manga some more! Queen of Sheba

5 DAYS!!! XD *dances around*
ALRIGHT!!! XD 5 days till my brother gets here from Korea!!! XD I'm SO EXCITED!!! *jumps up and down* He's been teaching in Korea since last January, and I haven't seen him since Christmas, also, this'll be the first time our entire family has been together! ^^ Last night we had another Jr./Sr. movie night, so we watched "The Mummy Returns", then I borrowed "The Gods Must be Crazy" (1 and 2) so I'm all excited to watch them! ^^ I read some more horror stories last night, and I've been working on the rough draft for my manga too, now I've got about 12 pages done! XD My mom read it and loves it, and my dad want to see how it turns out... though I don't know if that's a good thing or bad... o.O OK, today was a manga day, so I'm reading "W Juliet", "1/2 Prince" and "Vampire Knight". *cheers* I LOVE Vampire Knight, it's one of the best mangas EVER!!! XD "W Juliet" is a new discovery for me... I find it rather depressing how the guy is more beautiful than the girl... *cries* What is this world coming to? o.O I only got one question from my last post from Grif 2.0, so here it is, and then my answer: "If you had to choose between your bestfriend orrrrrr a lover who would you choose!?!" ... I've never had a lover before, so I don't really know! ^^' Questions 1. Have you ever seen "the Gods Must Be Crazy"? 2. Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend? If so, which one of you confessed? 3. Is #2 too intrusive? (sorry if it is...) My Answers 1. You bet! XD One of the BEST movies EVER!! XD 2. No, never have... Queen of Sheba

Weird day...
Man, today was really rather a strange day. Even though I fell asleep at 2 am, I was awake around 8 am thanks to my brothers screams. (He's almost 2, and is paralyzed, so I don't blame him, what 2-year-old can stand being stuck still?!! o.O) I almost fell back asleep, but my mom was doing laundry today, so she invaded my room and pushed me out of bed to wash my sheets... meany... TT.TT My day basically started like that, then I invited my friend over to watch "My Fair Lady" with me, but she showed up 1/2 and hour late, so we watched "the Revenge of the Pink Panther" instead. ("My Fair Lady" was just too long...) She went home for lunch, then I made a batch of nacho chips for our lunch... the main course was pitiful Kenyan hot dogs... oi... they're so weird that after they cooled off, they shriveled up like raisins... XP After lunch I started to feel droopy again, but I forced my dad to take me up to the zip-line. After the zip-line, we walked around and looked at the cool Kenyan trees, then went home where I fell asleep on the couch for the rest of the afternoon. That's when I had some weird dreams about a dinosaur living in our laundry room... o.O... I have no idea why... OK, after I woke up, I had spaghetti with my mom and dad, then went online, and here I am. I actually just finished taking some pictures with me and my brother, so I think I'll post it for y'all... when I figure out how... Questions 1. How do you get the URL for a photo in "My Pictures"? Do you have to post it on photobucket or something? 2. What's your favorite kind of pudding? 3. I am so out of questions... so can you ask me one? My Answers 2. tapioca and chocolate! (not together though...) Queen of Sheba P.S. can't visit anyone right now, I've gotta go watch a movie with the family... but I'll try!

Worst cold EVER!!! TT_TT *sneezes*
Ughhh... *coughs*... oi, so sorry for not posting lately, but I've got an absolutely AWFUL cold! TT_TT It started Sunday night, and has had me knocked out since then, except for on Tuesday night when I attended a movie night with a whole bunch of friends (the movie being "the Mummy"), and I ended up with an even worse cold! Oh yeah, I also got out of the house Tuesday afternoon and went with my friend to play on the zip-line at the Titchie Swot playground (Titchie Swot being the domain of all students from Kindergarten to 6th grade) Even though the zip-line is in such an unimpressive spot, that doesn't mean that it's just for little kids! ^^ I've been wanting to get back up there to play on it since, but my mom is keeping me in the house in case I worsen my condition again! *sneezes and blows nose* Anyway, here's my answers to last posts questions! From Tsubasachro: "If you won a years supply of one food which would you want it to be?" Heh, probably dried seaweed! ^^ From Effie-San: "Do you want me to make you a layout?" PLEASE!!! ^^' It would be greatly appreciated! I'll PM you to tell you what I want it to look like... if that's OK with you? From Twists of Rain: "I'm not good at questions! =/ Uh... What's your... Favorite color? XD" BROWN!!! XD As well as peppermint green! From Alphonse13: "well since you've been spending time in Kenya, What other country would you be interested in spending some time in?" Most likely either Italy, Korea, or Japan! (as well as Scotland and Sweden (my ancestors' countries)^^ From Ezel: "where can we download death note episodes?" Uhhh... I know you can watch it for free at; www.pisoga.com, and you can download at; www.deathnoteanime.com. My Questions 1. What is your favorite "toy" (for lack of a better word) on a playground? 2. What is your favorite Walt Disney movie? 3. What do you usually do when you're sick? My Answers 1. You can't find it in a lot of playgrounds, but currently, I think it's the zip-line at my old school! 2. Either "Beauty and the Beast" or "Tarzan"! XD 3. Sleep, read, and play solitaire! ^^' Queen of Sheba P.S. I've been working on a couple manga ideas lately, and have even started a rough draft for one. It's not an original story though... it's based on a short story called "the Inn" by Guy Preston... would I get in trouble if I posted it on myO?

Ahhhh.... wonderful sleep-in! ^-^
Hello y'all! XD Sorry for not updating yesterday, but I was in Nairobi with my dad, and when I got back home, I had to help my mom prepare for some dinner guests, so no internet yesterday... TT_TT (XD, JK! It was a good day!) OK, to begin, me and dad finally got to the matatu stage (matatu: the most popular form of transportation in Kenya, a bit like a van that is supposed to only hold 14, but can hold up to 24 if you try hard enough...) we got in and were finally off to Nairobi. It was about an hour trip through the African country, and when we finally got to Nairobi, my dad and me got out at the bank and found that the ATM machine was busted (BIG surprise!!! *voice drips with sarcasm*) so we had to catch another matatu to go to the bank downtown. When we got in this one, I was stuck in the back, and the seat I was on had no back, so I was really trying hard not to fly out the back window... ^^; Anyway, we went for Ethiopian food for lunch, and got our usual; a mixed dish and sheklah tibs. The mixed dish is filled with a whole bunch of different wots, (ground meat stews with a WONDERFUL spicy flavour, Doro Wot being my favorite; the hottest kind there.) there are also different kinds of vegetable dishes. The sheklah tibs are basically grilled small pieces of goat meat, with rosemary and REALLY HOT green peppers! XD The food is served on a big platter, and everyone eats off the same dish, and the food is served on a really yeasty sort of flat bread, sort of like a sponge cake, the texture can easily be compared to the cake in a jelly roll, but it has a definite sour sort of taste, and man is it good! XD This is definitely my favorite kind of food ever, and me and my dad get it every time we go to Nairobi! XD OK, enough about food. We finally got to Nakumatt (sort of a Kenyan version of Wall Mart, only smaller, hotter, more cramped, and with a lot less selection.) We did our shopping then went to Bata (Kenya's version of "Payless") and I got some new shoes, since I had to tape the heals of my old shoes with duct tape to even be able to wear them! So all in all it was a good day, we took another matatu home, and slept about half the way. Getting home, I was immediately put to work helping mom make supper (roast chicken dinner! *stomach growls*) Man was it good. We had a great time with our guests, and then I watched "Canadian Bacon", which is now my all time LEAST favorite movie! Man was it stupid! OK, thank you for all the comments yesterday! ^^ I really appreciate it! I'm just really curious, I have NO idea how to change the theme on my site, or add a background, or even add music! I've been on this site for over a year and I still don't know how! *cries* Can someone help? Anyway, I'm gonna go searching on google to find someway to get a layout... when you're reading this, my site might look different... hopefully! Questions 1. What is the last song you've listened to? 2. Do you live in a town, or in the country? 3. Ask me a question! XD My Answers 1. "The Truck Got Stuck" by Corb Lund! A classic song! XD 2. sort of a little village/mission station... so I don't really know what to call that! ^^' Queen of Sheba

Korea Day!!! XD
YAY! XD Today is such a fun day! ^^ I woke up at about 9:00 and headed up to the school, since it was library day today, so I was able to return and borrow (got a book called "Haunts, Haunts, Haunts", a collection of short horror stories.) Then I headed down to the gym where a small group from Korea had gathered. They had come all the way over to Kenya to do stuff here with the station kids about Korea. So we got to sing songs, eat Korean food (yummy kimbop and noodles, but sadly no kimchi... TT_TT) then we got to make these cool mask things and play these cool Korean games. (some that included spinning a top with a tasseled stick, and another about knocking rocks over. Lots of fun! XD) So yah, that has basically been my day so far... though I'm kind of sad that even though I make an effort to comment on everyone's posts, not a lot of people have been commenting lately... I dunno... it just doesn't seem to be very fair. (Thank you though to those who do, you know who you are! ^^) Questions 1. What can I do to improve my posts? 2. What do you prefer to hear about in my posts? 3. Should I start adding more filler? (funny stories, quotes, etc.) Queen of Sheba

Intense workout day!!! XP
Whoah!!!! I'm so EXHAUSTED!!! Today started pretty slow, I was up at about 10:00 today, and started the day with a good book! ^^ Right now I'm reading "LOST" by Gregory Maguire. Man, it's such a good book, I highly recommend it! His writing is so great, I love his descriptions of people and stuff, he also wrote some other books; "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister", "Mirror, Mirror" and "Wicked" as well as "Son of a Witch" (which I haven't read yet, but want to! ^^) Anyway, lunch was tuna and veggie subs, then me and my parents had a talk about the future. I guess we've decided that if these s----y social workers don't hurry up and get their a---s in gear, we'll have to end the adoption and leave my little brother in Kenya. TT_TT We've been working on this adoption for over a year, and stuff that should take 3 days takes 3 months. We just can't take it any more, and our life savings are getting drained from living in Kenya with no support or job. We can't even get a job due to our visa... *cries* It's just not fair! I really hope we can get a court date soon, because if we don't, we'll have to wait till after August (when the judges get their vacations for doing nothing) and that's when school starts. I'm really very worried about the future... sorry for boring you with my rant... Anyway, after our conversation, me and my dad went up to the school to shoot some baskets, and after a grueling game of 21, we went home, where me and my mom tried out this dance routine video thing... oi... now I'm totally pooped... I can't wait to go to bed tonight! ^^' OK, here are my answers to some questions asked to me. From Tsubasachro: "What's your favorite childhood toy?" Probably my mom's handmade Raggedy Andy, as well as my inexhaustible supply of self-made weapons (bows, arrows, spears, etc. [me and my brother would play "Celtic Warriors" instead of "cowboys and indians" XD]) From Koon: "What is the most horrible thing you've done lately?" Ummm... *laughs*... I guess I threw a tantrum when I didn't get the attic in our new house... ^^' From Magnus Lensherr: "What's the most random thing you've ever said?" Oi... I dunno... I say a lot of random things... ummm... probably something like "rainbows are tasty" or something... when me and my friends hang out, we can get pretty random... My Questions 1. What are you thinking right now? 2. What's your most memorable scar? 3. Do you prefer potatoes or bread? My Answers 1. That my mom's chicken spaghetti is smelling really incredible! ^^ 2. On my side where I had a tumor removed. 3. POTATOES!!! XD Queen of Sheba

Moving day...
WOW! Last night was a lot of fun, I watched a couple movies and finally got to bed around 1:30am, now I'm getting into my older schedule better! XD A lot of the time, I wouldn't get to bed till about 3:00am... I kinda miss those days... ^^' OK, so I got up around noon today, and after lunch, my mom got me to go up to my former dorm parent's house to help them unpack in their new house. Dang they have a lot of stuff! ^^' I'm so tired from that, but i think I helped them out quite a bit, so that makes me feel good! ^^ OK, nothing else to report, sorry the post is so short! ^^' 1. What kind of computer are you on right now? 2. What color is your hair? 3. I dunno... give me a question... 1. hp pavilion 2. sort of reddish/maroon/auburn with lighter highlights. Queen of Sheba Here's some really funny things I found on our computer, enjoy! In case you needed further proof that the human race is doomed through stupidity, here are some actual label instructions on consumer goods:
On a Sears hairdryer: Do not use while sleeping.
On a bag of Fritos: You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside.
On a bar of Dial soap: "Directions: Use like regular soap."
On some Swanson frozen dinners: "Serving suggestion: Defrost."
On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom): "Do not turn upside down."
On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding: "Product will be hot after heating."
On packaging for a Rowenta iron: "Do not iron clothes on body."
On Boot's Children Cough Medicine: "Do not drive a car or operate machinery after taking this medication."
On Nytol Sleep Aid: "Warning: May cause drowsiness."
On most brands of Christmas lights: "For indoor or outdoor use only."
On a Japanese food processor: "Not to be used for the other use."
On Sunsbury's peanuts: "Warning: contains nuts."
On an American Airlines packet of nuts: "Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts."
On a child's superman costume: "Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly."
On a Swedish chainsaw: "Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals." LOL! Hope you enjoyed these! XD

Memorial service today...
OK, so I attended the memorial service of that guy I was telling you about today... and I cried basically the WHOLE time! It was a very touching service, though I can't figure out how his parents were able to speak at all, I wouldn't even be able to show... it was very sad indeed... Anyway, after the service, I came home and ate a sandwich with my parents, then went upstairs and watched "Wizard of Oz"... I think the thing that bugs be most about that movie is that all of the backgrounds are painted! It positively drives me batty! (apologies for the archaic terminology...) Oh well... it doesn't matter anyway... I was trying to get my Dad to watch it with me, but he hasn't been able to get past the munchkins... I don't blame him... ^^' Anyway, I'm going to try to visit everyone, but if I can't, please don't blame me, my mom wants me to take the laundry off the lines, so I'll leave you with some questions... Questions 1. Do you (or did you...) play an instrument(s)? What? 2. If you could play any instrument, what would it be? 3. Why? (to question 2) My Answers 1. Yes, I used to play the guitar and piano, but quit when I moved overseas... 2. Probably the violin or the french horn. 3. Because the violin makes the best sound (my favorite artist of that genre being Vanessa Mae...) and the french horn just looks too cool for words! XD Queen of Sheba

Thank you so much!
Man, thanks so much you guys for all of the comments yesterday, it feels good to know that my friends at myO can understand me. Sorry for yesterday's post being all depressing, to tell the honest truth, since that day I haven't been able to think about it, it's like my mind just blocked it out. It's really weird really, but at least I don't feel totally depressed... ^^' OK, we're moving into our new house today, yesterday was dedicated to cleaning, as well as this morning, then we get to move our junk out! ^^ (Not really, we hardly have anything, everything I own can fit into a suitcase...) Thankfully we'll have the last family's stuff to live on and off! XD We're actually really lucky to get this house! ^^ Questions 1. What is the most depressing anime/manga you've ever read/watched? 2. If you could adopt from any country, what would it be? 3. What would you most likely name your son and daughter? My Answers 1. Gilgamesh 2. Probably Ethiopia (we're already adopting from Kenya, so that choice doesn't work for this question... don't ask me why....) 3. Probably... ugh... I'm so bad with coming up with names... the boy would be Benjamin, and the girl would be Sheba... I think... at the moment... ^^' Sorry for the totally retarded questions today... ^^' Queen of Sheba
