IM BACK! i got back on Thanksgiving Day but it was 5 pm so there was to be no feast :( But i honestly dont mind since the trip was worth the 12 hour flights and the foot pain (we walked a LOT)
Kyoto was my favorite and it was so pretty in some places. its one of the oldest cities so there were a lot of ancient temples and palaces there and they were magnificent. and Tokyo is huge, as to be expected. both cities were very clean and the people were the nicest people i think ive ever met.
AND THE TOILETS WERE WARMED!! it was heaven to plop down upon a nice warm toilet bowl after walking and being cold... i could have died happy. ill see if i can post some pics up oln the site later for yall to look at. we werent able to go to the countryside of Japan, but it was still a sight to behold.
i bought a wall scroll, some pockey, a fan, and a Japanese lady doll. Shes got a pretty kimono on and shes holding this...thing. i dont know what it is...its on a string....and its dangly..and round...and colorful. its not a lanternso im quite stumped as to what it might be. it just kind of dangles there, all mysterious and debvious looking. stupid dangle thing.

so yes Japan was definentaly on my top 5...no 1 list of favorite places to go. and i put up a new song by HIM for you all to listen to from the Dark Light CD. ^_^
