Somewhat of a strange Sunday
For one thing I spent the whole day with my brother, which is an odd thing all in itself. He's usually off with his girlfriend (though he won't admit that they're dating). I went to church with the dude, and he's pretty much a member of his girlfriend's family. So after church we went with them to have Sunday Dinner. Don't ask me why they call lunch dinner, because I can't tell you.
But instead of having a meal at their house, we went to Boston Market. Hope's (the name of his girlfriend) family is always one that likes to eat at a family table, so they put together four tables in the middle of the fast food restaurant, set everything up, had a prayer and passed around all of the food like at their house. Very odd...
Then later at youth group, a strange game where you chased people with pool float toys (a.k.a. noodles) hit them with it, and tried to get safe. Yeah, I didn't catch on either. Afterwards we played dodgeball, which was a lot of fun. Though don't try it wearing dress-casual shoes, it doesn't work. My cracked toe-nail is a testimant to it.
After that we went to Wendy's around 9 o'clock. Keep in mind it's been nine hours since I've eaten. I'm starving, and I find out while I'm there that a bunch of my friends work there. I eat with them while they're on break and had a good time.
Now after that little break, we went to Hope's grandmothers house and talking with her for around an hour and a half. Then we came back home. End of story.

Back, again. And I'll probably leave right after
I seem to have a disease. That disease...well I don't know it's name. But I do have a cool new toy now. Cable internet. So freaking awesome. And I got a webcam. It's a piece of crap, but hey, what can you do? I only paid 30 bucks for it.

Thanks yous, gifts, new toys, and rps
I would like to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday yesterday; those people being Panda, Arcadia, and the OtakuBoards automated message system. Mad props..Gs?
Birthday was pretty cool. Seemed streched over a few days. I recieved around 75 bucks, a new bass strap, nylon guitar strings, a new metrenome and tuner, a Civil War battle maps book, and oh yea, CABLE INTERNET. It's teh best thing ever. Though we do have to call the company and get it installed. (insert smilie that I don't know how to do)
Also, today was the first day of band camp. That's right folks, 4 hours of marching, lunch, then 4 more hours of playing. Oh joy. But there is good news: this. Though imagine it without the little bar-body going all the way down, mine only goes about half-way. My band teacher bought this for me to play in marching band and jazz band. It's very handy, smaller case than my electric bass, great sound, and easy to carry.
Yay, I was applauded for my bio in BH 2 by KotR. Yay for me.

Guess who's not dead!
Me!
Either that or Josh is hacking into my account. Ah-hah! Baron von Samedi rides again!
Alas, there is nothing to do. But hey, tomorrow's my birthday people. Yes, I will soon be able to get a restricted drivers permit because I'm 15. Well, I'll also have to learn how to drive, get my learners, then get 25 hours driving experience. But hey! Who cares!
I've also been in negotiations with my parents about getting cable internet. And I may be winning. Yes, hopefully they will come up to me tomorrow and tell me that "Yes son, your wildest dreams have come true!" Oh yay. Or maybe I'm just raising my hopes for nothing. Hopefully not. If I do get cable, I'll finally be able to game online, which will be very fun.
In the RP front, Josh and I are collection info for ours, while I signed up for KotR's Black Horizon RP. I think this is the third time I've joined the RP with the same character. Yes, I am a recurring character. Hopefully this one will turn out better.

TV goooood...........
There's been some cool stuff on the history channel lately. Though they usually have awesome shows almost constantly, two new ones have proven themselves worthy of the channel.
The first one was a subject of one of my posts a while back. Called Decisive Battles, this show utilizes the beta engine of Rome: Total War, which is still in production (I believe by Activision). This is possibly the best battle reinactment I've ever seen on TV. Some of the segments weren't thought out well enough, such as putting the host of the show in front of a green screen so he could be "in" the battle explaining things. Though the total effect was awesome.
The episode covered travles to the center of Italy and Rome's power. The majority of the episode, however, focused on the battle of Cannae. In this battle, the Roman senators sent eight legions, about 70,000 ment, against Hannibals much smaller force. Hannibal (sans elephants) won the battle using an odd formation agains the Romans sheer power to encircle the Roman force, which confused and panicked the legions.
The second show (which I'm not sure is new, but this is the first time I've seen it) is Command Decisions. Just think about those ABC multiple choice videos you had to watch in middle school/junior high science class. It sets you up with a question, and you give the answer. Unlike those easy science videos, these questions need a lot of consideration in the short time given to answer them.
This episode was over the Battle of the Bulge; Hitlers attempt to cut off and destroy the allied army. You assumed the position of supreme allied commander Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Question: Unlike the Germans, your men are ill-equipped and have no winter camoflauge, so you use
A) White Paint
B) Germant Uniforms
C) Bedsheets
The answer,....some other time.
