Pick up lines=laughter
Yes, I was watching that little talk show called Graham Norton Effect today, and they had a segment where people used pick up lines on the two female guests, and were judged good or bad.

My favorite:

I love every bone in your body...including mine.

Awwwwww

That's precious.

I would appreciate any pick-up lines you can send me. You can even use the handy-dandy new private message system.

And my endless plugging of that continues.

A new means of annoyance
As many of you know, we have been blessed with a private messenger.

As many of you know, we have been cursed with a member blocker.

Damn, time to get the spamming done now!

Here's a, no, teh list

1: Ask James what the hell happened in the Lounge and what the new site is. Repeat until blocked.

2: Spam Charkles (aka Charles) with porn until he starts chafing.

3: Spam Shinmaru, just cause he's such a cool guy.

4: Spam Baron Samedi. What? He won't block me.

5: Spam
Sara using the name Kurama_dude516, claiming that I stole her Little Plastic Ninjas and demand 516 dollars and the DVD of Yu Yu Hakusho.

6: Spam
wrist cutter as a red-neck named Ray who lives in Alabama, who just happens to be homophobic.

7: Spam EVERY SINGLE PERSON who has written a very long short story on their blog, when there is a perfectly good link to a message board that has a Literature site where they can post it, and have it ignored.

There, that's all I can come up with in this 10 minutes I've been looking a peoples sites. I would put links to the blogs listed here, but I don't know how, and I'm too lazy to switch windows to my MSN message with Baron Samedi to ask him how. Wait, nevermind. I will damnit!.

Ok. I did it. That took an extra 5 minutes out of my day where I absolutely nothing.

Do you feel left out? PM me and I'll block you.

Oy mate eh?
Hey all you sexy mamas, and papas.

How many History Channel savvy people do we have out here?

Hopefully a few, so they have noticed what I'm talking about.

There have been some commercials on the History Channel for a program called Decisive Battles.

I've known about this idea for a program for a while now, though when I heard about it's British version, it was a test of normal people's tactical skill.

The History Channel's version, or my guess of what it will be like, is they are using the Rome: Total War beta engine (that's the one thing I'm sure about) and use it to show people and talk about some famous battles.

Which is a very cool idea.

In other news, I got MSN Messenger a little while ago.

So my screen name on that, for all of you fans out there, is bencyfour@aol.com

a.k.a. el Sexo Grande

Computer is too slow!
Jeez, talk about slow. I'm try to download some maps for Unreal Tournament 2004, which seems to have 41 minutes and 51 seconds left, while looking for info on weapons during the Cold War for a possible RP with Baron Samedi and myself, and this. It took five minutes to open this damn screen!

Yeah, 56k really sucks. Especially when you're downloading a 12 MB file when your computer is going 3 1/2 kb per second.

Fuhgeddaboudit!

This'll give a few points on the sensitivity rating...
Today I was watching a mother duck and her ducklings swim around in our pond.

It was a very precious moment.

We get ducks all the time in our pond. And our pool. We even had a King of the Hill moment on the side of the pool. Just four male ducks sitting the same direction, just staring. We've had a few ducklings in our pond before, but I was never awake; so this was the first time I've seen 'em.

They were trying to eat some of the taller plants, streching their necks to try and reach the leaves. They figured out that they couldn't and went for the shorter plants. They had to walk over the lilly pads, and sometimes they took little breaks on them. There were a few "cannonball!" moments when the little ones went on top of some low rocks and jumped back into the water.

It was all very cute.

No update=no visits= A very sad Alex
That's pretty much all I've ever gotten from a math class outside of education.

And what I just said doesn't make sense to me either.

In other news,

....

Crap.

I went man-shopping with my brother yesterday. It was pretty fun. Thanks to my cousins and uncle down in New Mexico for letting us on to this new concept. Just go out and buy anything that you feel like.

So I got a CD that I've been meaning to buy for quite a while.

Hey, I never said I had enough money to do it properly.

My bro got the Velvet Revolver CD, the Butterfly Effect (which is a very depressing movie, though quite well done), and a best of Bob Marley CD collection which was a nice upbeat change from Butterfly Effect.

Jamaicans always make you feel good.

Watching the show, drinking a Barqs
I've been watching the Band of Brothers DVD today, which is a very good show. Though it brought up a question in my mind.

Do they let anyone make a cameo in movies nowadays? Honestly! Part...5 I think, entitled Crossroads, has Jimmy Fallon in it! Jeez! They have a guy from a show that has gone to hell into a completely awesome series that has a completely different feeling a setting as the one that he comes from, and they expect us to take it seriously?

Though, he might have known Tom Hanks' cousin, and that got him in?

Yar mayte!
A few nights ago I caught Maxim's/VH1's Hot 100 list.

Being the guy I am, I watched.

Most of the show was either the little pictures going pretty fast, showing one shot of each rank-holder, then periodically pausing at one for a 5-minute interview. Fun fun.

But #20, I was surprised. Michelle Branch. The chick I thought was hot when I used to watch TRL (believe me, it was a while ago).

She started listing through all the instruments she played, laughing a little when she said cello. "Cool" I thought, she's a shy little orchestra geek. So am I.

But I'm not hot, or a woman.

Then she went on to talk about things she liked.

:insert devil smilie here:

She said she liked pirates.

She said she liked pirates, a lot.

Yar! Avast! Wench!

That do it for you babydoll?

le Stormio
The past few days have been a bunch of storms. The bubble that keeps severe weather from Topeka, Kansas must have temporarily gone away. Seriously, a storm has even split, gone around the city, and re-formed. It was crazy.

But I've been helping clean up the yard since the first storm. My neighborhood is filled with giant trees, so the entire street was out trying to clean up their yard. Well, except for my next door neighbors, who are probably yacking on the phone, trying to get someone to do it for them. Doctors, I swear. I'd bet they don't even care that a huge tree-limb has just taken out half their fence.

Otherwise, I hope you all like my half-assed attempt in making my site look good.
