   story

i'm going to start posting up my story now for those of you who want to read it...

Proluge

I ran through the woods. as fast as my legs would carry. To get away from them.

"GET OUT!" she screamed at the little girl now cowering in the corner.

Still running,I jumped through the underbrush, into a clearing.

"I'LL DO IT!!! I WILL!!!" the man said holding out a sword. The little girl inched over to the door.

It wasn't a clearing. It was a cliff. What could I do? I looked back to hear shouts and small torches that illuminated the darkness of the forest.

The man forced her out the door onto the street. "N-No! Mommy! Daddy! I didn't mean to!!" screamed the girl as she stood up.

I took the only chance I'd had at living. I ran at the cliff and jumped. It was about a 250 foot jump. I was scared to death, yet excited. In that instant I unfurled my wings.
