T_T And my back is killing me. I had to stand for 6 hours! It's not easy. I don't know how people who do these type of things as a full time job cope with it... But on the plus side, I did 39 presentations! Yay!... But I only sold 7... Since I'm just a visitor at Myers, I have to sign in and out, and get a Visitor's badge. That's fine. But today, I was stopped by a security guard about my bag. You see, for my job, I have to carry a lot of things, like 2 of the product as demonstration, instruction booklets for the product, fliers, work related paper work, newspaper articles about the product to show people, things I can give out to people... A lot of things... So I need my bag to carry it around, and keep things organised. But that bastard security guard made me leave my bag where I sign in. So I had to carry everything in my hands. AND he made me leave my phone in my bag too! I NEED MY PHONE FOR WORK!!!!! I have to send a text message to my supervisor when I start and finish work, if I'm running out of stock, or if I'm having any problems... But how on Earth am I supposed to do that without my phone!? I told him that I have to have my phone with me! Not only did he get angry at me, he tried to go the girl who had a shift before me, to see if she had her bag with her or not. In other words, he was going to chew her up and spit her out for having her bag and phone with her, like he did to me. NO ONE does that to my friends while I'm around! We were NEVER told that we weren't allowed to have our bag or phone with us. I stopped the security guard by making up some BS that I didn't want to trouble him, making him walk all the way to the toy department and some other crap... It was a REALLY bad start to my shift... I don't know what I'm going to do on my other shifts... Wow... wrote too much again...    My workplace

As I mentioned before, I promote and sell a puzzle/game called Kaleidoscope Classic. I work alone at Myers. So my workplace contacts me by email, and sends my roster by email too. On Sunday, I'm supposed to work untill 7pm, but Myers is open only till 6pm... !? So... am I supposed to promote and sell the product when there is no one around? Of course not. I emailed my supervisor asking him about it (a real arrogant & cocky guy). Man, I hope he's not reading this... So, now I'm working untill 6pm... And, I asked him to not give me a shift on the 23rd, since it's my cousin's birthday party. And what do I get!? A shift on the 23rd... Well, the party's from 2pm, and my shift ends at 2... So I guess it's ok... Can this workplace be any more unorganised!? They were supposed to send me a sample of a new product, so that I can promote it better. Have I got it? NO... Sorry to say, but I'm glad that this is just a temporary job... Because I don't think that I can handle this much longer... *sigh* Oh... and a bit about Myers: It's a big store in malls. Sells clothing, shoes, perfumes, electronics, kitchenwares, some furnishings, linens, and of course toys. They sell products from different fashion designers and manufactureres... So it's pretty hard to sell people just one specific product. The job description says to sell atleast 1 product per hour. And if I sell more than that, I get $5 incentive for every product I sell. My arrogant supervisor wants me to sell 1.5 product every hour, so that he can get incentives too. My other supervisor wants me to do more presentations. Presentations are everytime I fully promote the product to a customer. These things become really hard when my supervisors give me a really bad shift. Yesterday, I was working from 2:30~8pm. Seriously! Who shops during that time!? And especially at the toy department!? I only did 20 presentations! This job's becoming a bit too much for me... But it gives me something to write about in my resume. Especially because I work without any supervision. That's a real plus point for employers. And, I have job training for another job this Tuesday. It's for a casual position as a receptionist at a community centre. So, I don't have to sell anything! \(^o^)/ Sorry that this post became really long. And mostly bad mouthing the company I work for... But other than my cocky supervisor (who's only a few years older than me...), and the sales, it's a really fun job. (I don't know if anyone outside of Australia knows about Myers... but anyway...) But I don't work for Myers. I work for a company called Mind Challenge. And I promote and sell a puzzle/game called Kaleidoscope Classic. (for ages 6~106) You have 18 pieces (kind of looks like Tetris) and you have to put them back into their frame. When you do so, you try to create different patterns and pictures. It can also become a 2~3 player game. Kind of like chess and number scrabble. It's really fun. I play all the time at home. As I tought, Lily went into labour before my land lady came back from her holiday. It was 6:30am today, when Lily went into labour. We finally saw a placenta at about 8:30 am... Here is the photo of the placenta sticking out of Lily. But be warned, some of you may not want to see this. Especially if you just ate... Lily was having a lot of difficulties trying to give birth to the first kitten, so my mum and I decided to take her to the vet. There, Lily gave birth to 5 totally cute kittens! When we went to pick her up at 4pm, the vet wanted to ask us a favour. The Cat Protection Society had brought in 3 kittens which were abandoned at some park. The vet wanted to know if Lily could look after them too, since they were also new borns. Mum and I said that it was up to Lily. Lily didn't mind at all. Especially because these 3 kittens were of the same colour as Lily's kittens. Here is the photo of the happy family of 9: THEY'RE JUST ALL SO CUTE! >.< Ok people, I want some names! My cat Luna is very jealous, angry, and stressed because of those who are home staying at my house. She always fights with Lily (the pregnant kitten) and she hates Tina's (little Maltese dog) guts... Luna is also mad at me for allowing these two to stay at our place. I must say that I can't blame her. But what am I supposed to do? Leave a pregnant kitten and co-dependant dog outside at night? In the cold? (It's early spring here in Australia) Well...yesterday morning (at about 4 am), Luna got back at me. She never did anything like this before... She must have finally snapped because of the other two... Luna peed on my school bag. The strap, actually. But there was a bit on the bag too... The land lady is supposed to come back tomorrow. But with the way my luck is these days, Lily might give birth tonight. So my mom and I are looking after their cat and dog. The cat (Lily) is pregnant, and she should give birth any day now... So I did some research on the net. There was one thing that bothered me: A cat who is younger than 1 year or older than 8 years, could give birth to deformed or still-born kittens... What if Lily gave birth to still-borns!? (I don't mind deformed, because they are at least alive) I'll post some photos when she gives birth... But the bad part is, they have a dog, a cat, and a bird. The bird (Christopher) is not allowed to go outside of his cage, so that's alright. But the cat (Lily) and the dog (Tina)... well... they're the problem. The other tenant feeds them, but they're left outside in the cold during the night. So feeling sorry for them, mom and I decided to bring them into our house during the night. 1. My cat (Luna) is super jealous. She never used to sit on my lay, but since the other two came, Luna started to sit on my lap. I think she wants to make sure that I'm not going anywhere. 2. Lily is pregnant. She's only about 6 months old! And, we think she might give birth before the land lords come back. 3. Tina is FILTHY!!!!! Like, she's totally dirty! Tina is a white dog, but because it seems like she hasn't been washed for quite a while, she's gone brown. So I washed her. Mom took a photo, but because she used the flash, Tina looks totally freaky. I'm going to upload that photo now, but I'm not sure if you can see it. I'll check tomorrow when I get to university. Well, here it is: Hope you can see it. Well, that's it form me, for now. I'll write any updates of my life with three animals who constantly fight later.
