"Why did the post box suddenly decide not to work?" So I went through my past posts and realised that all of the first paragraphs were gone! O.o So that's why I don't have a post box any more. ^^" Mum's been in a good mood. ^^ And therefore, so have I. But this restriction of the net I put on myself is killing me!!!!! I NEED THE NET!!! I can't talk to my friends properly!!! This is hell! This is torture!!! *sigh* I'll be on more from next month, since that's when uni starts. I'll need to computer to do my homework, so I'll be online when I take breaks. ^^ I went to the city with my mum yesterday. I was planning on going alone, but mum suddenly decided that she was coming. ^^' I went on an anime shopping spree! XD * "Nakayosi Lovely Summer Edition" (quaterly magazine of the monthly Nakayosi) * "Dragon Ball GT The Lost Episodes" Vol 2 (DVD) * I ordered "DBGT The Lost Episodes" Vol 1 (DVD), and it should come in in about 3 weeks. ^^ * "Kindaichi Case Files Short Story Collection" Vol 4 (manga) * "Saishin Heiki Kanojo" Vol 2 (manga) * "Trigun" Vol 1 and 2 (manga) * "Eureka Seven" Vol 1 (manga). Now I'll finally know what happens in the beginning! XD * WANDS (CD) "Toki no Tobira" That should keep me busy for a week. ^^ Other than that... Let's see now... Remember the engagement party? Well now I have to find a dress for the wedding. >.< And since there are no good dresses for under $100 that actually fit me, I have to make it. T.T It's such a hassle, especially coz the last time I made a dress was 5 years ago. T.T And my mum is getting on my nerves. "Back in Turkey in the 60s, patterns weren't like this." "Back in Turkey in the 60s, zippers weren't attached there." "Back in Turkey in the 60s, we didn't cut like that." GRRR!!! That's all I listened to for the past 4 hours. >.< Oh and "What are you doing now?" "Why are you doing that?" "What are you doing now?" "Why are you doing that?"... I'd rather have a parrot next to me... I totally forgot about Z-man this week. ^^" So he'll be back next week. ^^" I was going to show you a cute video of my land lady's dog, but Photobucket's doing some maintenance or something and I can't get the code. T.T I already uploaded it, but I can't get it. T.T In the mean time... Blah Blah Blah... Here I go again... ^^

She told me about the Stitches and Crafts Show. The one I couldn't go to coz my mum had a headache. T.T She described heaven. T.T I don't care anymore! I'm definitely going next year! XD Tonight, I went to another Baha'i thing. Nothing new. Just the usual praying and whatnot. (It's like going to church, but you can do it at someone's house) Oh but there was a guest there. So mum started telling her how I could speak 5 languages. O.o Where did she get that from!? Well, I did study Spanish for 2 years in primary (elementary) school and Italian in high school for 4 years. But you know what she said? She said, "My (Raina) studied Spanish for 8 years and Italian for 6 years"... What the??? O.O "(Raina) can’t remember much of Spanish, but she understands Italian perfectly." WHAT THE!?!?!? I was too stunned to say anything... (And I'll get into trouble if I correct mum in anyway...) After we came home, I told her not to say that again. Then she said "So what? It's not like they're ever going to find out." O.o How about the time you said that to an Italian and he started talking to me in Italian!? I stood there like an idiot. I couldn't say anything. >.< She always put me into those situations. T.T Once, she said in a huge crowd of people "Go on (Raina), ask them what you've been wanting to ask." I looked at her with my mouth open. After about 3 minutes of people staring at me, mum said "Well, if you're not going to ask, I'll ask for you." And so she did. Later she explained to me that it was a question she wanted to ask and thought that people would give a better answer if I asked. But there was a HUGE hole in her plan... I didn't know anything about it!!! Did she really have to wait that long before she asked the question herself? Urgh... 20 years of mum being like this is really tiring... Sorry, I'm in a rambling mood today. ^^" And I know that there are people worse off than me. So I should be grateful that I have a mother... Even if she get's on my nerves every single day... They've been showing BLEACH, Eureka Seven and Trinity Blood here on Adult Swim. XD I'm so happy! XD It makes life worth living. Hehehe. ^^ But the thing is, Adult Swim never actually aired commercials about it starting. -_-" Maybe it did, but I sure didn't see any of it! T.T So I missed the first two episodes of BLEACH, the first of Eureka Seven and the first three of trinity Blood. T.T Damn you Adult Swim! >.< Oh and it's also airing Inuyasha and Fullmetal Alchemist for the fifth time... I wonder if they'll ever show Detective Conan! XD The Adventures of Z-man! Maybe I need to drink some green tea like last time? ^^" My dad's been annoying me for a while now. My Luna's over weight, and he always gives her lots of food when I tell him not to. I'm really worried about my Luna. She needs to lose some weight, but it's not possible when my dad gives her more food. And he always lets her out late at night. She loves staying out late, so she doesn't come back until past 1am. >.< I'm always worried about her. I see lots of news on animal cruelty. And I see lots of pets run over on the streets. I don't want Luna to become one of them, but my dad just doesn't understand that. T.T We fight a lot coz of this... Friday... I can't remember what I did. ^^' Oh yeah, I watched "Honey and Clover 2". XD I love that anime! I think it's the best non-action/adventure anime ever!!! This post box is a screen shot from it. ^^ I don't really like yellow, but it's easier to read. ^^' Saturday... Battled with Photoshop. I was struck with a few inspirations for e-cards. XD About time... ^^" I might submit it. MIGHT. XP So I was trying to use dad's Photoshop to make it. But it kept on freezing. T.T I use it for 2 minutes, and it freezes for 5. >.< It was so frustrating. x.x Then after using it for 30mins, it stopped working altogether. >.< Yesterday... The battle with Photoshop continued. X.x Today... There was a Baha'i thing (my religion) so I had to go to that at 11am. I was half asleep when I got there. ^^' Lots of food. XP I got stuck halfway up the stairs though. (3 storeys) I scared everyone there for a while, heh. My abi (onii-san) asked where it hurt: the right of my kneecap, the left of my kneecap, the bottom of my kneecap. He freaked out when I told him that it was inside my kneecap. ^^" Then his mother (my mum's best friend) told my mum off for not taking me to the specialist. So yeah, I might be going soon. ^^ Oh and whenever I go to these things, I barely talk. But today, I talked a little, so I'm kind of proud of myself. XD I usually say like a sentence for every hour I'm there. Today, I said about 2~3 per hour. XD Ahahaha! Oh and I'm still battling with Photoshop. >.< It's bad enough I have absolutely no idea how to use it. ^^' It takes like 10 minutes to change the font's colour. I told my dad and all he said was "Yeah, it does that"... Great. >.< I also got a new electronic dictionary! XD It's just so cool! Arigatou grandma for sending it to me! XD Fortuna-chan, I think I collect dictionaries. ^^" I have lots of dictionaries. My two favourite are my Australian Slang Dictionary and my Dictionary of Idiocy. XP Anyway, my new dictionary has so many new functions that it's actually scary. ^^' The instruction booklet's 250+ pages long. @.@ There are so many Japanese characters that I can't read in it, so I think I may need my new dictionary to just read it! Irony? It's possible, but I wouldn’t know coz I can't look it up! Ahahaha! XD My grandma also sent me T-shirts from when she went to Hawaii... Here's a pic of one of them. (the other's normal, it just has the hotel's logo on it) She's crazy if she actually expects me to wear it! Not only am I 20 years old, it's size L! Not that I'm going to wear it if it was smaller. ^^" Sorry about the size of the pic, I just couldn't bring myself to making it smaller. You deserve to see it in all it's weirdly goodness! XD Our land lady came in this afternoon with her dog, Tina. She's just so cute! XD I think she looks like Little Red Riding Hood, but mum said she looks like a fireman. Hence the fire extinguisher. ^^" Here's a link to a pic of me. For those that don't know, I didn't hurt my ankle. ^^' I just really didn't want to dance at my abi's engagement party. XD Something I've been wondering for a while: Figuratively speaking, Superman's the man of steel, right? And he catches people when they fall off buildings, right? Z-man!!!

XP A couple of months ago, I was buying a train ticket and the guy gave me an American quarter instead of an Australian 10 cent coin. O.o I told him, and he told me that he'll change it back. But I wanted to keep it. And since it's worth more than the initial 10 cents, I gave him 15 cents back. ^^ Yesterday, when mum and I bought our tickets to go to the city, that guy gave me a handful of foreign coins! O.O Mum's really happy coz she collects coins. ^^ *pockets the British Pence, the Canadian 25 cents and the American quarter before she gives the rest to her mum* XP I had to go to the immigration office coz my visa's still on my old passport. I had to pay $60 to get it transferred to my new one. >.< The lady there said I can travel with the two passports. But that's strange, isn’t it? Anyway, that was at Central Station. Then mum and I walked about a kilometre to Town Hall Station while looking at shops. At Town Hall, there's this building called Galleries Victoria. Inside, there's the book shop Kinokuniya. I buy my monthly shoujo manga magazine, Nakayosi, there. Think of it as the shoujo version of Shonen Jump. ^^ When mum and I got back to the station and started walking home, she started to say how much her feet were hurting. So we swapped shoes. XD It was interesting walking in heels that are two sizes too big. XD Mum wore my runners (sports shoes; tennis shoes; whatever you call them XP) and said they were comfortable, so I'm happy. ^^ I mean, I dragged her half way across the city center for a manga. ^^' Some of the famous manga that were originally on Nakayosi: * Sailor Moon * Saint Tail * Card Captor Sakura * Jigoku Shoujo * Magic Knight Rayearth * Mermaid Melody * Tokyo Mew Mew I've been buying this magazine every month for the past 10 years. XD Oh! Next month, there's the new manga by Hanamori Pink! (Mermaid Melody) I can't wait to read it. ^^ It's called "Fianse wa Monsutaa!?" I guess it'll be translated as "My Fiancé’s a Monster!?" but you never know with publishers. ^^" I'll put up a link to a pic of me once I figure out how. ^^" Magnus asked me about my legs... I have hip problems which affects my knees, which affects my shin bones which affects my ankles which affects my feet. It's a whole chain thingy. ^^' I usually don't have too much problems going through life. But sometimes my knee or ankles lock so that's painful. ^^' I can only run 50 metres on a good day. I can't jump too much. Swimming's supposed good for you, but not for me. ^^" I love dancing, actually. ^^' But I mean with a proper choreography like classical ballet, jazz and contemporary. XD Going up and down the stairs is hell for me. T.T A three story building's usually my limit. I'm relatively fit. I just can't exercise too much coz of the pain. I'm supposed to go to a specialist about it, but I've been putting it off for about a year. ^^' Oh and I'm not disabled. Please don't treat me as such. ^^" I know my limits when it comes to my legs, so if I say that I can do something, it means I can. ^^ If not, I will say it. Well, this post's extremely long. ^^" And I thought writing twice a week would make my posts shorter. ^^" Sorry. The Adventures of Z-man Raina: I should tell you about Z-man. ^^ Z-man: Wait! I would like to do my own introduction! Raina: As if! This is MY site, you know. Z-man: *throws Raina out of the room and locks the door* Raina: Hey! That's MY room! I'm really bad at coming up with a subject. ^^

My MSN's been acting up the past few weeks. It doesn't let me talk to my YahooIM contacts properly. So today, it was as if I ignored Hiko. T.T I'm sorry. I was FINALLY able to download YahooIM, so I hope that works. But now that's sort of screwing up my net. ^^" It's always something, isn't it??? Um... On Friday, I finally got my new passport. I can go overseas again! XD *checks how much money she has* Never mind. ^^" On Saturday mum and I were supposed to go to the Stiches and Crafts Show with my aunt. I was looking forward to it too, since it was supposed to be bigger and better than the one at the beginning of this year. Do any of you remember I wrote about it? Anyway. ^^" Friday night my mum came up to me and said "Honey, I’m going to have a headache tomorrow, so we’re not going." Grrr... I missed the sewing machines, yarns, cross stiches, knitting, crochets, quilts, teddy bears, dolls, paper crafts, fabrics, all the new innovations... *starts to day dream about all the stuff she missed* ... *wakes up* Sorry about that. ^^" Last night was my mum's best friend's son's engagement party. There were 55 people including the happy couple (yes, I counted XD) and it was like a mini wedding. O.o It was fun. But people tried to force me to dance. I'm sorry, but where's the fun in being forced to do something you don't want to? This always happens so I was prepared this time. I wrapped my right ankle with those tape bandages. XP So why don't I dance? You see, I have problems in my hips, knees, shin bones, ankles and feet. So dancing and exercising really hurts. T.T But no one understands that here. But I did feel bad about not dancing. It was my abi's ("older brother" in Turkish) engagement party. I guess I should at least dance at his wedding... Hm... I'm trying to decide whether or not to post a pic of me. Privacy and all... I trust my friends, but it's the people I don't know that come here that I'm not sure if I should trust or not... I'll decide later. XD We got home at about 11:30pm. Then my parents and I stayed up until 2am talking about the party, my parent's wedding and their honeymoon. It was fun for a change. I found out that they both hated their wedding and honeymoon. ^^" They apparently had a lot of problems preparing for the wedding, right before the wedding, at the wedding, after the wedding and during their honeymoon. I don't mean problems as a couple, I mean all the other stuff. Like how my mum was almost late to the wedding; how her hairdresser had left so she had to do her own hair and makeup; my dad had to go to work; how they couldn't invite everyone they wanted to so my dad was bullied at work for years; and the backpacking through Mexico... I guess they're able to still put up with each other coz they had to go through a lot to get here. I don't know. ^^" Well, I do know one thing, I want to become at least half as strong as them and be able to make the impossible possible. ^^ Thank you for all your comments on those squiggly stuff. I still have no idea what I'm going to do with them. ^^" Game 2 Round 2 I'm only going to do this picture guessing game on Mondays. I'm planning on doing something else on Thursdays. Hehehe. Yes, I'm posting again! O.o

Hi. ^^ Darke and Magnus were right, once a week isn't enough. ^^' So I've decided to post on Thursdays as well. Why Thursday? To be honest, I have no idea. It just kind of became that way. ^^" I was thinking, if I wrote about the things that happen to me and my feelings, then my posts would become WAY too long. ^^" So this way it'll be shorter for everyone to read. ^^ (hopefully...) And thanks to all of you, I’m feeling better. XD First of all... I need to get out of this house! I don't mean "go out with friends", I mean: my parents are driving me insane! >.< They stopped talking to each other a while ago. So I'm the messenger between them. And let me tell you, they've never heard of the phrase "don't shoot the messenger". They also fight coz of the stupidest things. Also, my dad recently started saying stuff like "I’m allergic to all Turks and middle eastern people"... Well dad, what about me? *sigh* I just made my parents look bad, didn't I? I understand why they're like this. They have a lot of stress in their lives. They vent and dump all their problems out on me. I used to think "Let them take their anger out on me. I can handle it. I'm their only child, it’s my duty." I was wrong. I have my limits. Anyway, I had to go to uni today. T.T I did quizzes in one of my classes, Translation Technologies using the net. I did 12 in total. 10 of the best marks are counted toward my final mark for the subject. And what happened!? My first two quiz results got mysteriously deleted! Cutting the story short, I had to go and retake those two quizzes. I went there, saw my teacher and he told me to go to Computer Lab 6 to take the quizzes. I went there and the door was locked. O.o I asked a guy that was working there about my quizzes and he opened the room for me. ^^ He then asked who my teacher was, and when I told him, he laughed and said "That fellow thinks he own the place. Heh" Ahahahaha! XD That's so my teacher! He thinks he's this big shot English/Spanish translator, but his English isn't that good. ^^’ I know mine's not perfect, but his is worse. And he sometimes told me off when the computer acted up. >.< I don't like him. x.x I got my hair cut today. ^^ It's still really long. Down-to-my-waist long. ^^ Hehehe. But it used to be down past my hips... But that's alright coz it’ll grow quickly and I only get a hair cut once every 3~6 months. ^^ Oh and this is going to sound really bad, but my mum made me 2 new friends there... I'm still trying to get my head around it. ^^" Ok, so I'm 20 years old, and my mum made me friends... I'm sorry, I'm never going to fully understand that. ^^" But they're nice girls, and we might just even go see "Transformers" once it comes out. ^^ I'm not going to post the next round for my game today (the one where you have to guess what the pic is), since no one expected me to update so soon. ^^" It also kind of got lost in my emo-ness. ^^' Only Hiko and my new friend Fluffy Pink Fox played. So if you haven't guessed what it is, and you want to, go ahead and do it now. ^^ I also want to ask for your opinions. What do you think of these little things? It's from Windows' Media Player. Hi. ^^' I'm sorry I didn't write anything on my previous post, which was a day late, and I didn't even have the next game... ^^" I wasn't feeling like my usual posting self (whatever that is ^^') so I just decided against it. ^^' Um... I'm not really sure what I should write now too. It used to be so easy writing a post before (other than me being lazy) but now... I don't know. I kind of feel like what I wrote in my past posts was meaningless. It's strange coz I've never felt like that before. I wasn't going to post today too, but then I felt like I would never post again. So I'm kind of forcing myself to write. I don't feel like my usual self. I always have thoughts racing in my mind. And writing them in posts was my way of getting them out. I really need that coz I hardly ever get them out in real life. I feel like I have no one to talk to here. I mean like really talk to. I guess I need that. Maybe that's why I'm not feeling right... I just had this HUGE urge to delete everything I wrote. I just have a hard time talking about my problems. But that’s not fair, is it? I want my friends to open up to me about their problems, even thought I'm not the best person at giving advice, I can at least listen (if you're comfortable with it, of course ^^). But what kind of a friend would I be if I kept things bottled up inside? ... Although I could just be justifying my rambling. ^^' I just don't want to pretend that everything's fine. Well, everything is fine (other than the usual little annoyances in life), it's just that I feel weird when it comes to posting. The thing is I don't know what the problem is. *sigh* I really hope Matt's (BKstyles) not reading this, coz he'll lecture me about my insecurity and emo-ness... AGAIN. >.< I'm trying to change. I'm trying to be a little more confident. Look, you're actually reading this. Before I wouldn't have even written this stuff down. The one thing I never want to feel is regret. I still feel it, but it's not as often as before. I have to get over my fears and live life... Anyway. ^^" I'm sure you've noticed the little changes done to my site. ^^ It's all thanks to 2 very special friends. ^^ My best friend here on MyO, master hiko, for inspiring me to change my layout.
