It was taken before we left home for the wedding. Be honest, how old do I look? Ok, let me tell you what Thalassemia is. ^^' Coz I know a lot of you were confused. That's my fault though, coz I should've explained it better. And what better way than quoting what someone else wrote? XP "Thalassemia is an inherited blood disorder that causes the body to produce less hemoglobin. Hemoglobin helps red blood cells spread oxygen all through your body. WebMD If you want to know more, the link's there. ^^ And I think I have Beta Thalassemia Minor. Common in the Mediterranean, rare in Africa and Asia... I got it from my Asian dad and not my Mediterranean mum. O.o To tell you guys the truth, I knew I have Thalassemia Minor for three years now. My doctor just told me to not worry about it. So I didn't... It's just that now I finally know how serious the situation is... If my child (if I ever have one) has Thalassemia Major, and is going to die once he/she's 40, then it's true that Gogyou Inu and the child will have something in common. And I don't think it's wrong to say that. It’s the truth and I think Gogyou Inu will be a great role model for my child. ^^ I've been thinking about it a lot this week. If I were to be guaranteed of a healthy child, would I still want him/her? Will I be a good mother? Is the world safe enough? And so I would like to post something Gogyou Inu wrote. I was touched at how he thinks of others when he has every right to think about himself. 40 years... That's half the normal lifespan. But Gogyou Inu's going to do things that most of us with a normal lifespan won't be able to do. And I really want to support him through it. Here's what he wrote: "Okay I think that many of you think it is wimmy to not fight. I want to know why that is? What do you get from knowing you have killed someone? Or why do you like it knowing that people has died. I don't get it. Why do many people think that fighting is the best thing to do? I know when I say this next thing it is going to make many of you mad. But, I am going to say it. Okay I don't like the fact that the USA is looked at as the big bully. It is something that is something that I don't that pride in. I also am tried of many people thinking cause we live in the USA that we will never be attacked and if you do we will kill them all. Because we can get attacked. I also don't think we should think of the USA as the best country. Because only reason we are free is because of wars. Which in those wars many people died that didn't need to. Like in Japan. When we bomb it we killed many people and they didn't all need to die. Just like when the Allied forces bombed Berlin many people died that didn't have too. All over the planet people have died in wars that didn't have to. I am so sick and tried of wars and people dieing. Why can't more people see this. Why does people love death and killing? How does it make them happy?" And this too: "Okay I understand that many of the wars and conflicts going on now will have to be solved by fighting. But, I think that in future conflicts we should talk them out and don't start a fight first. I know that this going to be hard but, it is something that we need to do. I believe that fighting or killing still will not solve anything. There will still be fights and wars if we fight and kill our enemy there will just be another one. So, what I think we need to do is try to end hate. Because hate is what causes the fights, the wars, and the killing. If there is no hate then there is no reason to kill. I also think that we can have enough military to fight to keep ourselves safe. But, it should always be used only if they will not listen to us after many trys. Because I still think that we will never get anything done killing. I need to know how you all feel about knowing our future was formed from blood. How does killing solve anything? It doesn't! How does hate solve anything? I doesn't! So, why do we all go about our days wishing these things to other people. We say that this person needs to die cause he/she killed someone how is that making anything better. We say it is bad to kill but, then we go and do it cause someone else did. If any of you can answer these questions with great reason then go ahead. I am not saying any of this cause I believe in God! It is cause we are going to end up killing each and everyone of us if we go on like this. I am asking you all to post this on your sites if you agree with me that we need to change and it needs to be now!" To be honest, I don’t know the answer to this question. I don't want anyone to post this on their site just coz I did and it says to do so. And if you want to, that's fine. If not, that's fine too. ^^ (I know how a lot of people hate chain letters and chain posts) I would also like to say that I believe those who fight for their country are very courageous and honourable people... I just wish none of them have to die. Oh and I know I don't live in America, but I think what Gogyou Inu wrote applies to the whole world. For example, I’m sure a lot of you know that the Japanese armed force is not allowed to fight. It’s a Self-Defence Force. However, there’s a huge chance the law would change. That means more fighting, more nuclear weapons... Thank you for reading.
