Open Heart!

Hi people! I'm currently at an internet cafe in Turkey. Do you know what I had to go through to get here? I had to go from Sydney to Bangkok then to Istanbul and next to Antalya.
First, the airplane from Sydney to Bangkok broke. Thank God we were still on the ground! We finally flew 3 hours later.
We arrived in Bangkok safe and sound, BUT we missed our flight to Istanbul because of the airplane breaking down in Sydney.
Seconly, the next flight to Istanbul is 24 hours later. So we had to stay at a hotel for a whole day. It was soooooooo hot! We couldn't leave the hotel becuse of the scorching heat and my mum had worn a long sleeve top (3/4 length autumn top to be exact).
We left Sydney on the 14th of November and we were supposed to arrive on the the 15th but we arrived on the 16th. My poor grandmother later told me that she couldn't sleep and that she was praying all the time.
My grandfgather and uncle told my mother and I that it was a good thing that we came a day late because there was a flood on the 15th (the day we were supposed to arrive) and the airplane may not have been able to land. Not only that, we may not have been able to get into their appartment.
Was the airplane breaking down in Sydney and getting stuck in Bangkok a good thing or a bad thing? That is the question!!!!!!
