i have two surprises for my duckie-tweets! :> i have cut back the contest date so you all are not rushed! the new date is may 19th. preeze keep that in mind. i know it's during the end of school and all...well, i've given you guys a few months to create a character et make un picture for the contest. ohgymod i love this song so much. ; ; just a kind of jazzy tune with sweet rock touched in. i guess that's why they call it alternative. <3 but i jaaaa still love it.

***what kind of contest is it?***
this is a fanart character contest. i want you to design YOUR OWN character and stick it in a picture with one of MY characters! easy, right? well good golly it's too easy, so let's spice it up a notch!
my character must be kept in character. no split personality or anything like that! you may change up outfits, but not their eye color, hair color, hair style, etc. such as eshe, my stubborn hothead, will NOT be throwing flower petals in a sunshine meadow! and my character must be kept in an environment suitable to the story they are in. so that means characters like eshie and sané will not be inside a volcano or up in space or on a place like earth.
i want to challenge you in this contest. not some easy, fly-bye thing. because the prizes...oh there are some damn good prizes, yo.
but you may enter as many times as you want in any series, so you can up your chances of winning!
***what series characters may i use?***
the series i am willing to let you use are: ecstasy resistance, phantasma barrier, and anywhere can be. now everyone knows ecstasy resistance, right? phantasma barrier and anywhere can be are my newest series. the characters you may use are...

all ecstasy resistance entries must be a fantasy sort of character; no modern day clothing or whatever. think final fantasy clothing.

all phantasma barrier entries must be a futuristic sort of character; think modern day style with a bit more futuristic twist. cyborgs/androids are accepted, but no mecha.

***why can't i use undone characters?***
undone is a series that i have already plotted out fully; i will not accept entries for a series i have already completed in my head, it will not work come prize time.

i know this is kind of a challenge...but i would like all entries in by april 21nd*. so that's a little over a month, but a simple picture won't be that hard, even with the spices i added.

I DO NOT PLAY FAVOURITES. so don't try to bribe me or flatter me.
i am looking for a good composition of the overall picture; no scrappy art on a wrinkly piece of paper, i need a clean sketch/full picture on a on a nice document. but i can understand if you have some scanner issues. i don't care if it's digital or traditional, but color would be nice. my character MUST BE KEPT IN CHARACTER. check the design sheets (when they are uploaded) for the proper personality as well as some recommended backgrounds and songs for inspiration. if you are not the best artist, THAT'S OKAY! i do not grade level of experience. but i do grade the originality of your original character! no piggy-backs or clones of already made characters. you prolly have one in the back of your head; grab them out and fit them to the specifications of a character!
i'm not that harsh a judge, don't worry. as i said back in the prize section, everyone will win something.

currently listening: breathe by blue stone
oh, lordy, i am SICK. the sun, the lights in my house, and this computer screen are really burning my eyes. i have to wear sunglasses. ; ; so i'm just going to go lie down in a little bit to ease off the migrane and hopefully my hacking cough and runny nose. i haven't talked ALLLL DAAAAYYYY because i lost my voice, but i didn't go home or do ANYTHING. (<--one of my stoopid plans)
i got sick at six flags on saturday. one of my most favourite days of the year and i got SICK halfway through. go figure, dood. my clothes got SOAKED on roaring rapids, and i forgot to bring an extra pair just in case. but i played fine at the meyerson, and we got an award of excellence trophy! huzzah for us! ^ ^ though that isn't the highest standing there...but we were judged as a high school instead of a middle school, so it wasn't a fair judging.
but today we got a pizza/brownie/breakdancing/cookie party in orchestra instead of working! :) i'm happy for that. it was really fun, though i slept halfway through it. my orchestra teacher let me sleeeeep because she knew i was going to get sick.
yeeeeyyy...erk- no, nevermind. o o i'm lying; no yey. POOPOOOOOOOI'MGOINGTOBEDNOWNIGHTNIGHT
PS: i've been drawing kh3 (er whatever it will be called!) characters all over. i like drawing lare the most because her hair is not all weirdly sculpted. ; ;

good GOD i am going to do a fanart. i've already watched this thing like 6 times. XD doesn't that kid who got frozen look like roxas? and that old man, he is in ansem's clothing! i thought he was ansem except a lot older. but i don't know....nomura said these were completely new characters that have never been introduced before. but i can't shake the feeling nomura might be just trying to confuse us. ^ ^ i'm just too excited for kh3!!! i HAVE to show this trailer to megan; she'd FREAK!! :D megan's one of my best inreallife friends.

my character must be kept in character. no split personality or anything like that! you may change up outfits, but not their eye color, hair color, hair style, etc. such as eshe, my stubborn hothead, will NOT be throwing flower petals in a sunshine meadow! and my character must be kept in an environment suitable to the story they are in. so that means characters like eshie and sané will not be inside a volcano or up in space or on a place like earth.
i want to challenge you in this contest. not some easy, fly-bye thing. because the prizes...oh there are some damn good prizes, yo.
but you may enter as many times as you want in any series, so you can up your chances of winning!

the series i am willing to let you use are: ecstasy resistance, phantasma barrier, and anywhere can be. now everyone knows ecstasy resistance, right? phantasma barrier and anywhere can be are my newest series. the characters you may use are...

all ecstasy resistance entries must be a fantasy sort of character; no modern day clothing or whatever. think final fantasy clothing.
NOTENOTENOTENOTE: lucifer hath been removed because of certain complications regarding his design. he is still a character, just will not be featured in this contest.
all phantasma barrier entries must be a futuristic sort of character; think modern day style with a bit more futuristic twist. cyborgs/androids are accepted, but no mecha.
all anywhere can be entries are like ecstasy resistane entries; no modern day clothing, and still think final fantasy-ish.
***why can't i use undone characters?***
undone is a series that i have already plotted out fully; i will not accept entries for a series i have already completed in my head, it will not work come prize time.
***when is the deadline?***
i know this is kind of a challenge...but i would like all entries in by march 31st*. so that's a little over a month, but a simple picture won't be that hard, even with the spices i added.

this contest is a special one. <3 everyone will win a prize, but there will be 3 main winners, series not mattering. most likely i will pick one for each series. but i would like at least 3 pictures per series.
1st -
a full picture of whatever you would like *** an icon and wallpaper of your character *** your character will become a main character of that series and will share a special bond with whichever character of mine you chose as well as a friendly bond with most of the other main characters related to the one you chose! *** a 1st place banner for you to put on your site.

everyone else gets a sketch of their character as well as their character popping up somewhere in the series they chose.
***by what will the entries be judged on?***
I DO NOT PLAY FAVOURITES. so don't try to bribe me or flatter me.
i am looking for a good composition of the overall picture; no scrappy art on a wrinkly piece of paper, i need a clean sketch/full picture on a on a nice document. but i can understand if you have some scanner issues. i don't care if it's digital or traditional, but color would be nice. my character MUST BE KEPT IN CHARACTER. check the design sheets (when they are uploaded) for the proper personality as well as some recommended backgrounds and songs for inspiration. if you are not the best artist, THAT'S OKAY! i do not grade level of experience. but i do grade the originality of your original character! no piggy-backs or clones of already made characters. you prolly have one in the back of your head; grab them out and fit them to the specifications of a character!
i'm not that harsh a judge, don't worry. as i said back in the prize section, everyone will win something.
send a link to your picture via private message. you may upload it to the otaku, but don't expect me to go digging for it. or you may upload it to a site like imageshack.us and send me the direct link. I MUST HAVE A LINK, OR YOUR ENTRY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
i would also recommend trying to use a character of mine that would be harder to find a match to! such as jeremy, lucifer, ithel, akanke, and raphael. if you do a harder character, i will be more impressed, thus upping your chance of winning! but really every character is hard, so don't just refer to the ones i just listed. ;)
try to be sure to tell your friends; i would really enjoy if this contest would be pretty big!
SO REMEMBER: march 31st is closing time; take a note of it! so grab your pencils, markers, tablets, and mouses and make a plan! all character sheets will be uploaded either today or tomorrow, so keep checking back to see if the character you want to include yours with is up!

holy tolito! it's good to have time to myselfs. finally!! but even though i have to do an english project. ._. i don't like the choices for the project, so i'm going to email ms salfen an idea of a portrait of abigail williams using symbolism. we're reading the crucible, by the by. real good book. :O yes.
aaand...my math teacher got on top of my friend's desk and started yelling "THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!!!!" to my group's papers. ^ ^ we did all our work, and he was real happy. quite frankly, he's always happy with jess, marissa, and i. :D yayyyyyy we're good students in there! and in all our other classes, but yeah. <3 they all lurve ussss, na~
what else...i still have not gotten over not being president for orchestra. ; ; they elected my friend because she put "i'm cute" on her form. she didn't want anyone to elect her because of that, she just put that for fun like i put that nixon peace sign thing! ;O; she wanted me to be president; she didn't like that job...but...stupid violins (no offense anyone hither) had to team up against me and the cellos and bass. ; ; i'm sad...my eyes hurt...

; ; no one wants to watch scrubs with me...they would rather watch grey's anatomy recordings. so i really feel like an ugly duckling at my house. i'm just sitting here eating my spaghetti, and they're all in there laughing about people's antics and crying about their problems and POOP. stupid dumb show. sorry i babble about my hate for it so much. i really don't want to get brain damage from bottled up emotions, so i let them out here. i just want grey and co. to go fall in a big ditch! along with anna from shaman king! i don't fancy her much; she's mean!
but...i have to work on pictures anyway. like i already told minyatto, i have deadlines to meet. >: it's not a happy topic. but they are real, and i dislike them greatly.

currently listening: weather storm by massive attack
i love massive attack. i really do...
came home sick. T^T i have been having a terrible migrane and a high amount of memory lapses this past week. memory lapse meaning i forget what i am doing and where i am. so...ms salfen, my english teacher, allowed me to rest in her room during lunch and listen to secret garden. her classroom has the BEST healing atmosphere, so i felt the migrane ease a bit. then the class came back and i felt SO terribly ill.
one of the boys, price smith, tried to hurt mrs beimer (my science teacher) and ms salfen today. both times he put a chair against the closed door so that when they opened it, the chair would fall and hurt them. ; ; he is such a MONSTER, i HATE HIM.
so i told ms salfen about my migrane and about the chair, and she sent me down to the nurses office via rolleychair! she took her computer chair and sat me down in it and had lauren wheel me down to the office. people STARED at me. lauren and i were having so much fun with that, and the migrane eased just a bit more. i would have prolly fainted if i walked...but then i sat down in the nurse's office. and the migrane came back. ;o; so i called mum and came home, and here i am now eating some warm soup. it's good.
so i will watch shaman king, read a book, listen to music, possibly all at once, til comes bed time. maybe drawl a little too. i hope my fever goes down, because i REFUSE to turn the air down any cooler. >:'

if only i had a good animating program besides flash. and better animating skills. =x=;; i had a really good idea for an "ending theme" to lydia for ecstasy resistance if it were an anime. it would be a good song for undone, too, but neh....:>
speaking of ecstasy resistance, i stopped work on it for a while because of other work needed to be done...but now i am picking back up progress with the coloring. ^ ^ i will have next page up soon. i am hoping to get a routine of one page a week if i can, starting these next few weeks. i just need people to be patient AND NOT RUSH ME. >:E 'cos i work slower then!!
and yeah. <3 i got sick from fumes to-day at school. my science teacher's wall almost exploded, and i was right next to it. ^ ^; luckily she turned off the power to the outlets in the room and it did not. but MAN i was sick from the smell of melting wire and almost short-circuiting fuses and such. hooray! -pokes self in belly- it feels good not to be exploded.
umm....NEW HOUSE IN 25 MINUTES, YAAAAAAAY!
