because this song just works. i <3 cold music. it's prolly one of the only alt/rock bands i really really like because...i do! this has yet to bring me rain, but it should work eventually...it's a sad song!

yeah, i entered a little too many contests at the moment? possibly more if goldy and kira want to make contests. not to mention i have a gift for someone, you know who you are. :V i'm working on it; i just got the sketch done so i'll be scanning it in to colour soon enough. maybe sooner than that? prolly not.

there's so many contests this summer, it's giving me the crazies! so i decided to hold off the oc tournament guidelines and whatever crazapples i thought up to go through my contest entries and finish them. i forgot what all i joined, even! 8D I'MGOINCRAZY! -flails-

my art teacher came over last night. i was supposed to teach him the tablet because he can't work it for beans! and in return he was supposed to teach mum how to matte so we can matte some of my sketches and prints and hang 'em up. but instead of doing ANY of that, we just ate, talked, caught up, and i walked up and down stairs multiple times with his 2-year old, talon. he likes numbers! instead of playing the piano he counted the songs on it and all the buttons on it. he can count HIGH. on the stairs we counted all the way up to 125, i believe, before starting over. owo;; he likes the stairs, yas! and mr seidel (my teacher) really liked the works i was doing this summer. most of which you guys haven't seen because they are ones i've yet to upload and ones i don't plan to upload. but yeah, he thought they were fantastic! ^ ^ so that itself made my night.

what i have to say about that night is that his son is SMART. he can already count to 10 in spanish and name all the colours in spanish and remember specific rule numbers and placings his dad told him a LONG time ago! and this kid's only 2!! o o that just astounded me.

in other news, i'm going to see the simpsons movie today! it got a b+ in the papers. that's GOOD. most all a-crit movies are in select theatres. so wow! cool, man. i'm just psyched because i want to see spider pig. but isn't that just what everyone wants to see...? we all love spider pig here. XD i also want to see the wrecking ball bit, because that was a favourite of mine last year in a prepreprepreview of it! also the mushing dogs. that was HILARIOUS. i'm so excited yet again!

now i'm going to go start my sketch for gothicdrawer's contest! go join, it's themed with the deadly sins! i'm doing vanity. :3 i actually have one for sloth sketched too; maybe i'll upload that for fun. LALALAAAAAAAAAA.
