Thinking....
I can feel the beat, feel the beat of your life, beating oh so close to mine. I can hear your heart, hear your heart whispering, wondering if you'll be mine. So I say that I can love you, I can hold you, but only if your heart will too, only if your arms will open, and I'm not sure if they will too. So I stand here, unable to get across this canyon that echoes like the stars. But even though I cannot touch you, so perfectly suspended in memory, I will still reach out to your perfectly beating heart. And I move to a new rhythm that every new love invokes. So let's sing this song that cannot be sung and hope it comes out true. And all I can say is that I'm thinking of you, and all my emotions are true.
