I can't wait!
Okay so the next chapter to my story is a little lame... i need to fix it up a little but I have no idea where to start...sigh....But i promised i would post it in this post ...so I'M GONNA DO IT! (Clentch's fist will making a proud face) LOL!
I juts hope you guys like it, even thought it's not the best chapter, I think the next chapter is the greatest! I'm pretty sure it is, maybe that was the next, next one...nevermind I'm just confussing you guys!
here we go
Hazark of Haven:
Chapter 4: Garbage and a Latte'
(hint: this one starts out with a song)
(song bye My Chem. Romance, give em hell kid)
Oh baby here comes the sound!
I took a train outta New Orleans and they shot me full of ephedrine.
This is how we like to do it in the murder scene.
Can we settle up the score?
[Chorus]
If you were here I'd never have a fear.
So go on live your life.
But I miss you more than I did yesterday.
You're beautiful!
Well I'm a total wreck and almost every day.
Like the firing squad or the mess you made.
Well don't I look pretty walking down the street.
In the best damn dress I own?
[Chorus]
If you were here I'd never have a fear.
So go on live your life.
But I miss you more than I did yesterday.
You're so far away.
So c'mon show me how.
'Cause I mean this more than words can ever say.
Some might say we are made from the sharpest things you say
We are young and we don't care.
Your dreams and your hopeless hair.
We never wanted it to be this way.
For all our lives.
Do you care {at all}?
[Chorus]
If you were here I'd never have a fear.
So go on live your life.
But I miss you more than I did yesterday.
You're so far away.
So c'mon show me how.
'Cause I mean this more than words can ever say.
(Won't you tell me?)
(Well, there's no way I'm kissing that guy)
(Give em hell kid by: My chem. romance)
Shiamee walked down the street bobbing her head to the music. It was Monday the first day of school for her and she wasn’t at all excited.
“Oh man, school is such a drag. If only I could just skip it and move on with my life!” she cowered to herself, and continued walking. As she got closer to the school grounds she turned off her CD player and stowed it in her book bag.
She walked up to the double glass doors and sighed, then opened them dragging her self inside of the torture room.
“Hey Shia! How was your summer break!!” a girl ran toward Shiamee jumping on her.
“Tally!! Get off me you big oaf!”(spelling ??) Shiamee yelled scrambling from underneath her friend.
“Oh, sorry! I’m just so exited for this school year! You should be too!!” Tally shouted looking at her friend reproachfully.
“What do you mean?” Shia mumbled looking for her looker number. (A/n: I’m just gonna call her Shia for now)
Even though it was the same every year, she always forgot where it was over the summer. When she spotted the number 278 she walked towards it and dialed the 'oh so familiar' combination and the locker opened.
“You know what I mean Shia!” Shia looked at Tally with a raised eye brow. “Kyio!!”
“What are you blabbing about Tally?”
“Kyio, you know he had the hotts for you over the summer but you had to go and be all shut up in your stupid little room.” Tally retorted.
“What! I-“
“The word in the halls now is that he still has those hotts for you Shia!” Tally interrupted her.
“I have absolutely no idea what you’re taking about. And my room is not small, and I have every right to do what I please over the summer.” Shia grabbed her first class book, which was science, and walked off leaving Tally by her locker.
“Yeah….whatever...” Tally said following Shia.
>>>>bad-da-da…fast forward,,,ba-da-da>>>>
The school day past by in a haze for Shia. Her first science class was all review and her second class, English was all talk about rules for the hallways and cafeteria. Although there was a slight change in gym class, they actually did something constructive. Other wise Shia’s last class Math was a drag, the teacher Mr. Kanko, kept rambling on about how he had lost a bet in a card game thanks to a false algebraic equation.
At the end of the day Shia and Tally, and along with the rest of the school, where happy to be sent on there way home…..
“I’ll call you later Tally!” Shia yelled waving to Tally.
“I’ll wait by the phone okay!” She replied walking her separate way.
Shia walked down the sidewalk toward her house, which was a little to close for comfort, in her point of view. Well there goes the first day of school, what a bummer. I can’t believe Kyio still likes me after I totally blew him off over the summer. Shia though, taking out her CD player. She turned it on and was about to put the head phones on her ears when a loud banging came from a dark alley. A vibrating shout came from a heaping pile of trash.
Shia cautiously walked toward the moving pile of garbage.
“At least the Elders had the decency to not try and KILL ME!!!” a boy voice sounded and a man like fist rose up and shook in the air. The terrified teenage girl ducked quickly behind another heap of garbage. This is absolutely ridiculous. She thought staring over at the swatting fist.
“Why Earth?? Why!!! Earth!!?!?” It shouted at the sky. Then a boy rose out from the mountain. He had brown hair that was to his ears and big blazing emerald eyes. “What the hell am I supposed to do now?” He leaned against a building wall and closed his eyes.
What in the world is going on here? Shia thought looking the boy over, he wasn’t exactly up to date on his wardrobe, but he did dress fashionably. She tried to stand up but slipped on a rotting banana, ultimately crashing into the trash can in front of her and kicking the one behind her. (A/n: Ah ha ha!! A banana... that’s a classic!) She sat in the middle of the two, petrified.
“Who’s there!!” the boy said alarmed opening his eyes and gazing around until he spotted the cause of the commotion. “Who are you? What do you want?”
Shia pealed a piece of lettuce from her hair and stood up brushing the waste off of her.
Then she opened her mouth to speak, “Ah, my n-name, I don’t think I will give out to a total stranger, but the last I heard this was a free country.” She looked up at him and into his big green eyes. The stranger didn’t say a word just goggled her. She noticed a piece of small moldy paper in his awesome brown hair and couldn’t help but pull it out. Little things like that bothered her deeply.
She reached up and grabbed the piece pulling it out and throwing it to the ground. And then smiling a little.
“Sorry for being so rude earlier, just a…uh…rough day.” He said looking away and pressing his back to the wall, he let himself slide down to the ground.
“Well I don’t know your name and I don’t why your day was so bad, or what you’re doing in a bunch of trash,” she examined the alley, “But if you want I can get you a latté and you can tell me.” She had no idea why she was acting as so, she didn’t even know the guy, yet she felt like she had some odd connection with him.
“I don’t need your help.” He said quietly.
“Fine. I was just trying to be nice,” With that Shia walked out into the mouth of the dark alley.
“It’s Hazz,”
“What?”
“My name, you said you didn’t know it. It’s Hazz.”
“Well, now we are getting some where Hazz, My name is Shiamee, but I prefer Shia.”
“Whatever...” Hazz looked down at his hands, he felt like he was in a whole other world. Almost like an alien. Well it’s true he thought.
“So have you changed your mind then?” Shia said leaning above him and out stretching her hand toward him.
“I don’t have any ….money…” he said astonished at her persistence, “of your money anyway…” he added in a whisper.
“Well you can pay me back later, I don’t mind it.” Shia said still out reaching her hand.
“Your loss….alright lets go.” He got up on his own and stood next to Shia with a depressed look on his face. I wonder what’s got him so down Shia thought to her self.
“Okay, off we go then.” Shia said in a joyful tone.
She led Hazz out of the alley way and into the street.
All this is so odd to me, I don’t know anyone here. Hazz thought to himself while following Shia. I can’t get attached to anything or anybody on this planet. I have to keep my self as closed off as possible. I will not let who I really am disappearing in all these false objects of Earth.
And with that they entered the side street, corner coffee shop.
