-Twilight Princess-

I got Twilight Princess for GameCube. Finally. Since yesterday I haven't been doing much else than playing it, except for when my brother decides to take it >.>;

But yeah, I might not be around too much for awhile because of it. I stayed up until 5AM playing it ^^; And I'm working on other things like commissions when I'm not playing ^^;

In other news, I checked my grade for Economics when the professor sent out an email that he had them up, and it said I have a "B". This can't be possible. It HAS to be wrong. I'm not going to get excited about it until I receive my final official grades. There is NO WAY I could have done that well. But lets just hope I DID get a "B" that would be wonderful ^^

Random Thursday Journal

Yeah I was planing on making a new journal Sunday night or Monday after I got back, but I didn't have the time ^^;

Anyway, Youmacon was really fun. I sat at the Artist's Alley table most of the time, which was fine, because I got to talk to a lot of great people. I sold maybe 1/3 of the prints I had brought with me, and almost all of the 30 bookmarks. The only bookmarks that didn't sell were I think 3 of the ones of Sasuke.

I also got 5 commissions total. Two I did there at the table, a sketch of one of Masterofveggies characters, and an ink drawing of Scar from FMA.
The other three are CG commissions(which I obviously couldn't do there). One of an ukeish cat-boy, one of MattxMello from Death Note, and...this one is really of the wall, I've heard even more off the wall pairings, but this one, it's up there...of SephirothxInuyasha.
One thing that I've been wondering though, why is it that almost all my commissions have been pretty much shounen-ai? It's funny, I've never drawn Shounen-ai on my own, just for others ^^; Not that I'm complaining or anything, I mean, hell I'm getting paid, you know? And I will admit that I'm enjoying drawing and colouring that cat-boy ^^;

Sunday was fun, I finally got to wear my Alviss costume! Although my wig was collapsing. It collapsed on the ride there, and Saturday night kojika and myself had to fix it the best we could. It was fine the next day, other than the main spike kept wanting to fall over. Ironically, the whole wig collapsed on the ride back...except that one spike >.>;
Saturday I wore my usual Hotohori cosplay ^_^

Oh! and I got two wallscrolls and some posters too! I got my fourth Fushigi Yuugi wallscroll(surprised?), a Dirge of Cerberus Wallscroll, Three Naruto posters-all featuring Sasuke =P Two Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden posters(from the video game 'Kagami no Miko' I hoped for more of those, but they only had those two that I could find) and a really pretty Tsubasa poster of Fai and Chii ^_^

Hopefully for ACen, which will be the next convention I go to, I'll be able to get a table in ithe artist's alley there as well.

As for school, well I've dropped my math class. I'd rather not speak of the other classes right now ><

I just have to get through just over a month left...

Well I'm done, sorry for another long journal, and thanks to anyone who actually read through all of it.

School, Youmacon, Cosplay, etc...
+News+
Whew....well the two big projects I was working on are DONE! You guys can see the building project for my illustrator class on my deviantART or SheezyArt pages. Overall I like how that came out, other than a few minor areas. Though I did have a problem with it on deviantART, because after I had submitted it to their vector gallery, it was moved to my scraps because the mod thought the sakura trees and foilage were part of the original picture(flattering, really) but they are infact, thousands of tiny vector shapes copied and pasted upon each other ^^;
In other news, I failed yet another math exam. 33/100. (although that's about average for me) this means that I WILL have to drop the class now. I'm going to wait and stay in it for as long as I can though, so I can at least cover the material, then I'll drop the class just before the final drop date. And I'll have to retake it next semester. Joy.
Econ is a bitch. The past couple quizzes and homeworks I've gotten nothing but 7/10, even with checking everything in the book before choosing an answer >.>; *sighs* well, as long as I pass the class with at least a 'C' I'll be happy.

I'm still working on my Alviss cosplay for Youmacon. I just have 3 pieces of fabric to add to the shirt, and that part will be done. Then I have to make the shoes. Fun. And a stencil of the part of the zombie tattoo that is on his arms so it can be applied easier. At least Kojika is almost done with my wig ^_^ (thanks Kojika!)
I have to make Bell, too. I'm just modding a cheap Barbie, but I have to figure how I'm going to rig her up on wire so I can attach it to my costume so it appears as if she's flying behind me ^^;
I also have to find a way to reattach the handle to my sword for my Hotohori costume, because the handle snapped off this past summer at Otakon. I was going to make a new sword anyway, but that was not going to be until ACen, I just do not have the time to make it for Youmacon, unfortuantely. I won't pose with my sword anyway, I'm going to use my hand mirror like I did at Otakon ^^ But I'd just like to have it with me. I mean, you can't have Hotohori without his sword, right? ^_^

ALSO! Just a reminder from my last journal, I will be in the Artist's Alley with Kojika and Himeko!! I'll be selling prints and bookmarks made from my fanart (if any one wants to see what the bookmarks look like, just ask and I'll show you). So if you will be at Youmacon, stop by and see us!!!!!!!!

Once Youmacon is through though, I'll have a bit more time, and you guys should be seeing more art from me. It's just I have to hand sew my Alviss costume, so it takes forever(but at least I can watch lots of anime while doing so!)

I want to get home now though, and download the raw of this week's episode of DeathNote. Buuuut my last class does not start until 6pm, so I have 45 minutes, then the class gets out at just before 8, so I won't be home until 8:30. Oh well at least I have my VCR set for "House"

Alright, I'm just babbling now...trying to kill a bit of time ^^; thanks to anyone who actually took the time to read through all of this ^^ :hug:

Well I got the MAR picture done and coloured. I doodled the cutest sketch of a chibi Naruto and Sasuke in my first class this morning, so hopefully i'll get that drawn up and coloured. I also have an idea for a little gag comic about Alviss' hair (inspired by Kojika and myself fussing with my wig this past Sunday ) So hopefully i'll be able to get that done too.

Youmacon
+News+
As those who actually pay any attention to my journals may know, I'll be attending Youmacon the first weekend of November, and I was just curious if any of my watchers will be there as well?
Anyway, for those who may also be attending, I'll be cosplaying Hotohori(Fushigi Yuugi) and Alviss(MAR).
Also if anyone is interested, I'll be selling prints and bookmarks in the artists' alley as well, along with Kojika and Himeko ^^

In other news, school is still a pain in the ass. I have two projects due this week, 2 exams to take and little time to spare ><
One piece of good news though is I got my math quiz back from last week and got a 4/5 ^_^ the best grade I've gotten on a quiz in there yet ^_^
My building project in my Adobe Illustrator class is a beast. I've already put far more than 20 hours into this thing and I'm still not done! Well I'll put it up in my gallery when it is done.

Um....not much news. School is still going alright. I'm still clinging on in econ, but math is a different story. If I'm not doing better in a couple weeks, I'll have to drop the course and retake it next semester. *sighs*

Sleepiness + Commissions

Not so much going on. I'm at school, tired, and a bit bored. I can't seem to concentrate on anything right now, so studying isn't an option. I was sitting here trying to read the chapters from my 3D animation book, since we have a quiz tomorrow morning...but I was falling asleep ^^;
Ah, no matter. I'll be up until midnight anyway. At least my VCR is set to record "House", so I have that to watch later, and "Nip/Tuck" comes on, yay!

I have to finish the two prizes for the winners of my Hotohori club on SheezyArt. I have :devKeikoaki:'s almost finished, but as for Hawk-chan, well, I kind of have to redraw yours due to that rain came in my window during our last storm and kind of ruined that and some other older drawings ^^;
EDIT: I have it part way sketched now! =P
:devSadakoe:'s kiriban will be completed as soon as I can scan it and clean it up in photoshop.
After these, I plan on colouring that picture of Sephiroth.
In the little time I've had, I've started sketching a couple of pictures. One being of Alviss, Dorothy and Nanashi from MAR (my 3 favourites), and the other being one of my character Raika, who I haven't drawn since March of 2005 O.O;;;
I'm not sure if these two will get finished and see the light of day---or at least my scanner...but we can all hope ^^;

Updates + Commissions

Well, its been awhile since I last updated, so I though now would be a good time ^_^

I've been kind of busy with school, lab assignments, homework, etc. I'm already quite worried about my Economics and Math grades. In Econ, the homework and quizzes for each chapter are taken online. But here's the problem with that -- When you take it, it only tells you the amount right and wrong, not which ones you get wrong. I mean, is it just me, or does that completely defeat the purpose of what homework is? If I'm getting 5/10 correct, I'd like to know which ones I got wrong so I can review that particular material over more, you know?
As for math, well...it's math. I haven't done too well on the first 2 quizzes. I think(and hope) that I did better on today's....

Also, I've finally gotten my personal site up! Over all, it didn't take me too long, but I'm a bit lazy sometimes and a procrastinator, so it took awhile more. Its a bit small, but I have up what I need. I may add more later, but for now it's fine. ^_^

Doggie?
So we have gotten a new dog. She's an American Eskimo dog, pure white, and very pretty. It kind of pisses me off though, because my friend's cat has kittens, and I wanted one...yet I was told we were not going to have any more pets.
Anyway her name is Samone (Mony for short, but I'd rather call her Sammy for short...), which is what her previous owner named her. I'm not too keen on that name though.
But yeah that's about it on that topic I suppose.

As for my artwork, I have a bunch of half finished sketches that I need to finish up. ^^;
