*sighs* Today is the last day of school for my brothers...*cries* Four of them...home for the summer...with me...*has a nervous breakdown just thinking about it*
Hopefully I'll still get things coloured. I'll probably spend most of my time at my friend's house all summer like I usually do.

Anyway, I've been playing the first Kingdom Hearts game the past couple of weeks (again) I never got to finish it the first time, so I restarted it, and once I'm done, I get to play the second one finally too ^_^ Yay!

   Spring 2006 Grades
I just checked, they finally posted the grades for this term, and I passed all my classes with an A!!! ^_^ (And I thought for sure I was going to get a B in one of my classes...) and I passed Algebra too! I was worried about that ^^

   Back from ACen!
I definitely had a lot of fun ^_^

Friday
I went and stayed with urd-chan, kojika, himeko, Moonlit--Shadow, Cavatini (You can find all of them on deviantART) and a couple others. First off, when a few of us went to go up to our hotel room, we had trouble finding it. urd-chan told us the room number, but all any of us heard 4-something-4. (It turned out ot be 404) We proceeded to try the keycard on doors that were 4-something-4, and at door 414, a guy in cosplay opened the door when we tried it, so we explained what we were doing, he didn't care, and went on to ask us if we had a fork he could have...appearently he had ramen but no way to eat it XD I had a couple in my bag so we went to the car to get our bags and I made it my mission to bring him one. He was quite pleased, heh.
Things were not overly exciting for the most part that night. I went to the Fushigi Yuugi cosplay shoot. I got there early, and I talked to our Nuriko, who just happened to be [u=cammi]! ^_^
Unfortunatey, we had a very small turnout for the FY group. There was me(Hotohori), [u=cammi](Nuriko), a Tasuki, and four Miakas! (Yes, FOUR. We had two in their regular school uniforms, one in the miko outfit, and, one of the coolest, a dark Miaka, which wore the school uniform, but in black. We got some good pictures, but I didn't have a camera. As soon as I can find someone who has put them online, I'll link to them, because they were just too good. I got some nice shots with [u=cammi] and they worked out very well, because I'm pretty short(I was chibi Hotohori, lol!!) but as it turns out she is even shorter that I am, so it worked out great!
One creepy thing happened though...at one point I was standing there, and I felt something tug my hair as if it were being played with, and I turn to see this random blond girl, who I didn't know, touching my hair...worst part of it was that she didn't even know who I was cosplayed as...
Anyway....
After that I went to go see the rest of Anime Hell and Midnight Madness.

Saturday
Saturday I got into cosplay, and the first thing I did was go to the dealers room with :devmoonlit--shadow: and another. I FINALLY got a Fushigi Yuugi artbook ^_^. I also picked up FY volume 18(I would have bought it when It came out a few weeks ago, but I knew I could get it cheaper at the con) an FY wallscroll with Soi, Yui, and Nakago(As much as I have expressed distaste for him in the past, I do have to admit that he may be one of my favourite characters), and I got an 8" really detailed figure of Vincent Valentine <3
Funny thing happened when I was at the one booth buying the wallscroll...A random guy, not in cosplay, pledges his allegiance to me as Tamahome of the Suzaku Shichiseishi. XDD It was too good.
My hopes of getting the LOZ:OoT manga were destroyed though, since I couldn't find it anywhere. The one place selling any manga in Japanese was highly overpriced, so I didn't get anything there.
Later on moonlit--shadow, another friend and myself chilled in our room for a while, and ordered some food from a nearby restaurant. (I couldn't resist getting something to eat out there...I really miss how good the food is, Indiana food is awful...)
I hung out with my friend Bri-chan for a bit, and a few people took some really cool pictures of the two of us down in the game room. (Our characters are a very strange combination, being Hotohori and a character from Bible Black XD ) We went down by the ballroom, and watched the Spoony Bards, a group who plays anime and game music. She wanted me to go up there and dance with her but I don't dance...well that was until they did "Eyes on Me", then I agreed and had her teach me a two-step ^^; What can I say, I can't resist that song.
After that she ran off to see what was going on in the ballroom, and I stayed and listened to the Spoony Bards for awhile. They did "One Winged Angel" and had volunteers from the audience come up to be the Sephiroth choir, and of course I had to go and be a part of that!! It was really cool actually, a Cloud cosplayer did this cool dance scene thing with her sword and a random cosplayer. We were missing a Sephiroth though, until just at the perfect time in the song one came out of the crowd and joined in! It was all too great.
They played the FFVII boss battle theme a bit later, and Cloud and Sephiroth got up and did this fight thing, it was really awesome, but some of the ACen staff made them stop :(
Anyway, I left that and wandered around a bit trying to find one of my friends, with not too much luck. I sat in on an episode of Hajime no Ippo and one of Vampire Princess Miyu, wandered around a bit more, found and talked with a Genbu no Miko(who I wished could have been at the cosplay shoot. Her costume was amazing!!) Then I decided I was going to go back to the hotel room to see if anyone was there. On my way I ran into my roomies coming back toward the con, so we ended up walking around for a while doing a train type thing, holding onto the person infront of us. Eventually we went back to the room and went to bed. It was nice to get out of my cosplay costume. Although it's actually really comfortable, there was one part I was all too glad to get rid of. Lets just say since I'm female there is a certain feature that must be dealt with for crossplay, and dealing with this restricted my breathing a bit, lol.

Sunday
I didn't cosplay this day. Too much of a hassle, you know?
moonlit--shadow wanted to head back down to the dealers room, so I went with her and another of our friends. I didn't want to really spend any more money, since after ordering food I was down to about $10...buuuuuut I couldn't resist and I got a Nuriko keychain, which is hooked to my shirt right now ^^. Unfortunately all I ever see at cons in the way of the keychains is just Miaka, Tamahome and Nuriko. So of course of those three I would get Nuriko ^^. It just gave Kojika more ammunition. She's insists on the HotohorixNuriko thing, and refered to me as the gay emperor all weekend, even when I wasn't in my costume XD
We went back to the main part of the con and as soon as we entered a random girl was giving out giant pixie stix to whoever wanted them, as a last con day sugar rush ^^
moonlit--shadow and myself went off and found kojika and went to her MAR panel. We pretty much spent the time during the panel trying to kidnap people to come and join in, heh. But I pretty much just sat and mentioned the greatness of Alviss for the most part ^^
After the panel we went and sat by the indoor fountain, and the three of us snacked on some things moonlit--shadow brought, and we all drew a bit(it was a bit hard for me though, since I was using two manga propped on my leg under the paper. But it turned out that for the whole time we sat there, one of the two guys sitting just to the right of us was someone I knew from back in middle school. Jimmy and I had ran into each other last ACen, and I had given him my number, but it got smeared since I wrote it on him, lol. So we hadn't talked since then, but hopefully now we can stay in touch. He was one of the very very few people in middle school I could have called a friend.
After that we headed home, and that's the end of this tale!!

I'd have to say I had a lot of fun. It was a bit disappointing though, because while cosplaying, I had far too many people ask who my character was. I mean, I know Fushigi Yuugi is not as popular as anime such as Naruto, Bleach, etc, mostly since it is an older anime, but still, it's a staple for any anime fan to see.
But I cannot deny the great feeling that I got when I would hear someone call out "Hotohori-sama!" and want to talk or take a picture. ^_^

Updating Just to Update
I'm kind of tired. I was playing D&D until 7:30 this morning (I had started to fall asleep during our last battle even...not like THAT mattered, considering my character was asleep for most of the battle...as soon as I would awaken and go to heal myself of another player, I'd get attacked and put to sleep again ^^; SO I was just kind of playing the part I guess? XD )
I got home, and was up until about 9, then finally slept for about 3 hours.

School is going alright...I'm not doing so well in my algebra class though...on each homework, or quiz, I get a few points off, nothing big, but in the long run, they all have added up, and I'm barely passing O.o

On a lighter note, I'm going to ACen in May!!!! *dances* I'm pre-registered and everything ^_^ I thought I was not going to be able to go, but I'm getting paid to tutor someone in photoshop, and although we can't start the tutoring until after the semester, she paid me in advance so I would be able to attend. I can't wait!!
I'm not entirely sure I will be cosplaying...I want to and if I do I will be going as Hotohori again ^_^
I wanted to go as Vincent Valentine, but all the materials would cost far too much, so it's out of the question for now. I can afford to get the material to remake some of my Hotohori costume, to make it look a lot better than last year's, which looked kind of crappy, and now I know the problems with last years' cosplay, I can fix them for this year's. ^_^ *happiness*

yeah...
Alright, where to start? I apologize in advance for bitching.

I'm sick again. Just a cold, but nonetheless, annoying.

Saturday, we found my cat, Pencils. He had run off for about three days, which is nothing unusual for him, but Saturday morning, I was woken up by our dog barking. I went out to see, but my mom had already gone out there, so I figured she was just going to let him in the house, and I went back to my room. I was then called back outside, since my dog had been barking at something under the crawl space at the back of the house, where he usually goes. Under there was my cat, lying still. My mom thought he was dead, but when I crawled under there to see for myself, He was still breathing, but not well. his left eye was shut completely, and I don't think he was able to see out of his other. It hurt him to move, but I was able to get him into a box, and we took him to the vet. They did an initial test for feline leukemia on him, which luckily came up negative. We had to leave him there over the weekend, and today should be able to see how he is doing, and if they found out what was wrong.

I got bitched at part of the weekend and this morning about getting a job by my dad. Nothing out of the ordinary here, I mean, he's always an asshole about things to me, but he made it sound like I haven't been even been trying. He complained about my hospital bills(I'm still yet to find out if I'm getting any aid for them) saying I need to start taking care of them, since it was me who wanted to go...
Yeah. I wanted to. Because with the searing pain I could have gone and played volleyball instead. Ha.

I'm replaying Final Fantasy VII. Maybe I'll get a chance to beat it this time. Well, all I know is that all is right in the videogame world, since Saturday night I got Vincent on my team ^_^ *dances*

Tomorrow is going to be a simple day. There's a field trip to the Art Institute of Chicago, which I dont get to go on, since I have to be here for my English class. But, that's the only class I have to go to. I don't have to show for my 10:00 class, or my 3:00 class.

Ah, what's been going on lately, I suppose...
The past few weeks I haven't really listened to much music other than Gackt and Miyavi...hell, I'm listening to Gackt's "Misérable" right now ^^; (love the music video!)
I love "Redemption" the theme to FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus that he wrote.

Anyway, school has me pretty busy.

A couple of weeks ago I applied for an Orientation leader job at school. I had the interview about a week and a half ago, and I think they were susposed to choose who they were going to hire earlier this past week. I haven't heard anything...so yeah.
I probably screwed something up. I have a tendency of fucking things up really bad and not realizing it.
*sigh*
Oh well. -_-

I have a few pictures I want to finish, of OC's at that, and I have two art trades to work on.

I've been practicing drawing realistically lately. I don't know what's gotten into me! I suddenly wanted to... I've printed some pictures of Gackt and have been drawing those as practice. One or two have turned out pretty decently(not good by any means, but...), and I might put them in my gallery here. Keyword, MIGHT.
I want to do some of Miyavi, too...

Anyway, I've mentioned this before but a lot of my online time has been spent roleplaying. Ehhhhhh...Not much to say...
Yeah, I don't have very much to talk about...I just thought I should update since it has been about 10 days since my last journal.
School has taken up much of my time. Between classes I am usually in one of the CGT labs working on some assignment and taking breaks roleplaying, heh^^;
Oh speaking of roleplaying, is anyone interested in a Naruto RP? We only have 4 members so far, so it is a bit slow going right now. There is Sasuke(me), Gaara, Sakura and Konohamaru. Gaara and I are also temping as Naruto and Kakashi until someone registers as them. -_- *Tragic sigh*
Yesterday I thought that the worst my day was going to get was having to deal with a damn Mac. (I have no tolerance for macintosh computers...) But I was wrong. Very wrong. As my mom drove me home form my last class yesterday she tells me that my hospital bill came in.

It's over $5000.

Yeah.

That was the first time in what seems like forever that I started to cry.
I have to pay the bill myself. I don't have insurance. I've been trying to get a job as it is(with no luck whatsoever, I may add) and I when I did, the money I made from that would go toward school expenses, and such. But now for a long time I can say goodbye to saving up for a computer, a tablet....and worst of all I can say goodbye to going to ACen in May.

My mom said that she's going to help me do some stuff and see if we can get Medicaid to help pay it or something....hopefully that will happen.

Anyway, it's the second day of the new school semester. It has been alright so far, but I'm dead tired. I have an 8am class on mondays and wednesdays, so I have to get up before everyone else on these days, so I can get in the bathroom and later stay out of their way. That's at about 5:30am. Joy. Normally I get up after everyone has already left, so it's no problem. *sigh* Well, at least its only two days a week.

I've been playing Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance since this past weekend. Unfortunately, it's rented, so it has to be returned today. I'm on Chapter 19, about 2/3 of the way through. Let's hope that I can get ahold of another copy soon so I can finish it.
Thanks to the game though, I haven't had a dream the past 3 nights where the characters didn't move using a grid, lol. (I'm not kidding either!)

I'm already loving my CGT 112 class. It's a sketching class, so of course I'm going to enjoy it. We got our first assignment yesterday. We have to do 4 sketches:
1. Of one or more of our posessions (I did my Tama-neko plushie, with a FY manga and my Sesshoumaru plushie)
2. A room from memory (I did part of my friend's room)
3. A person from memory (I don't know who that is going to be yet...)
4. A self portrait using a mirror (I haven't done that yet either)

Well i think thats it for now. To anyone who actually read through this, sorry for complaining so much.
