Clair De Lune-- Chapter 3 (Btw, the setting is modern times, k? Srry today's post was so late)
Elise was laying in Joey's arms when the morning came. She had never been so happy as to lay there in the arms of her lover, her husband, all night. They had kissed, talked as they always did, and were nothing but sweet. Today was there actual honeymoon, and they planned to do nothing but spend it together. She gently leaned up to kiss his cheek, her eyes sparkling with tears of joy.
Joey kissed her back. "Good morning. I see you are finally up now."
She stared in shock. "Joey...? How long have you been awake for? Oh, I am so sorry I am such a late sleeper..."
He grinned. "Elise, you know me, I have an odd sleeping habit, and I am always awake well before the sun is up.... Strangely, this morning I was up merely an hour before you. Do not worry... I enjoy watching you as you sleep. You are so innocent and peaceful when you are.... I love that."
She grinned childishly to her love. He kissed that smile, and they both waited a short while more, kissing and sweetly talking to one another before they got up from their bed, stretching and laughing as Elise mewed slightly as she always did when stretching. Joey went to her and wrapped his arms around the stomach of her nightgown, pulling her to him in a gentle, loving embrace. She smiled, reaching up on her tiptoes to kiss his lips in a feathery touch.
"Elise... you are too perfect...." he whispered, kissing her back.
"You know my sentiments upon that statement... Joey, if I am perfect, you are perfect.... We are so for each other, and no one else can take that away from us." She smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck.
He lifted her up, catching her by surprise, and her eyes went wide. She tightened her grip on his neck gently, then laughed with him as they spun around the room lightly. He placed her back on her feet and left the room to go into the bathroom and prepare for the day ahead.
Elise watched him, her perfect love, her perfect man, clad only in a pair of black satin pants. She loved the way he walked, the way he spoke so gentle to her, as if she were some sort of fine crystal art and if too much noise was made, she'd break. She loved everything about him and more. Just his presence of being there with her was so wonderful.
She sighed. "Joey... how perfect you are, my love... my joy and universe...."
Elise smiled, going to pick out her clothes for the day, and waiting by the door for her turn to get ready. She thought for what seemed so short a time about his smile, his eyes, perfectly black orbs, like gems, a circle of green accenting them when he was happier. She leaned against the door frame and sighed deeply when the door open and she fell back into strong arms.
"Joey..." she gasped, breathless from her racing heart.
"It's alright, Elise, I've got you." He grinned. "Now, what on earth could you have been doing leaning against the door, not knowing when it would open next?"
She loved his joking tone, his laughing eyes and smile. "I was thinking about you, what else?" she teased, pushing her way past him once balanced on her feet again. "If you'll kindly excuse me...."
"Of course, Elise. I hope I might be able to talk to you in a few moments? If you are ready still or no?" he asked, so properly and sweetly.
"You may, but only if you promise to behave," she teased again, winking at Joey.
He smiled, and she walked into the bathroom to take a nice, warm shower. He waited outside a mere moment or two, knowing when it'd be safe for him to enter. Just in case, he knocked, and entered when Elise said he could.
Elise had just gotten into the room, placing her clothes on the counter, and grabbing for a nice, warm, fluffy red towel in the small closet. She took off her nightgown, placing the warm towel around her until she'd adjusted the water and turned on the shower. She stepped in, placing the towel on the rack, just inside the door. She heard a knock as the steam rose around her, and she gave word for Joey to come inside.
"Elise? Are you alright? It's awfully steamy in here... the water's not too hot?"
"I don't mean to sound cruel, if I do, but if the water were too hot, Joey, would I be in the shower with it on like this?" She giggled and continued. "But yes, I am fine. I thank you for asking."
"Anytime my love. So, you are well, no? I am sorry to keep asking, but you still looked tired when first you awoke, and it makes me sad to see that you might not be well."
She leaned into the warm water, letting it wash over her. "I am fine, just a bit... I suppose tired, but I am most days now.... And knowing me, why not? I stay up until the earliest hours, sleep little more than five, six if that, hours a night, let alone a week. I'm fine, I assure you, Joey."
He smiled, then he began a conversation with her about what they should spend their day doing. Elise laughed and argued that they spend the day doing as he planned, she wasn't much of one for deciding things. Yet, Joey was persistent, and eventually, he broke her down.
"Oh, fine then," she mumbled, turning off the water, wrapping the towel around her, and sliding open the mirrored door to the shower, which was mirrored to help privacy. "We could..." She thought for a moment, unsure of what all they could do. "Joey, I need choices in which to base my opinion off of, you of all others should know that!"
He stood, walking to her and hugging her wet form to his. "Alright Elise, how about this... I decide what we do for the last half of today, and you decide for the first, sound fair? I'll even give you some help, if you'd like."
She watched him, her eyes glittering with laughter, like a child's. His deep blue shirt and black pants were being soaked through by her, and she wanted to pull away and laugh. She didn't, and stayed wrapped protectively in his embrace for a while longer before laying her head on his chest and nodding.
"Uh-huh. I can live with that...." she mumbled into his chest, loving his warmth more than the warmth of the water which was now gone, replaced by a chilling cold. "I need to get dressed love; I'm cold..."
He rubbed his hands over her arms carefully. "I know, and that's why I was only here to get your answer. Get dressed, then I'll help warm you up more outside, okay?"
She smiled, then nodded. Joey leaned to press a kiss to her forehead, then her cheek. He walked outside, and Elise proceeded in putting on her clothes. She'd chosen a red satin shirt and a black skirt. It was funny how they almost always seemed to read one another's thoughts perfectly, so it seemed. She smiled, and set about dressing herself and combing out her brunette hair.
“Elise... you look lovely. I started a fire for you, in the hearth, and if you’d be so kind as to join me...”
Elise smiled kindly, carefully going to sit beside him in from of the hearth. "Joey... you are too perfect for me. Why on earth would one such as you wish to love me?"
"It was merely fate that brought us together, and although I've never been much of one to believe in destiny, this is one of those cases I tend to think about as being destined. Our souls are one, we are one... for a reason, Elise. Love is not something so easily explained, you should know that. However..." He smiled, kissing her cheek and cupping her porcelain cheek with his hand, “you can surely write it better than anyone I’ve ever known.”
“Oh, Joey. I cannot. I merely attempt to put down how I feel into writing, and it almost never comes out close enough to how I truly feel.”
“Let me decide that and make my own assumptions for myself, my angel. How about letting me hear one of your lovely songs, or maybe even one of those poems?”
“Joey....” she breathed. She thought for a moment, reaching up to touch his hand still at her cheek. “Alright. I’ll go find one I’ve been working on lately. It was to be a surprise, but I think now is as good a time as any, no?”
Joey, looking into her eyes, smiled and nodded. “Why not? Only if you wish to, though. I do look forward to hearing all of your poems, and it is such a welcome change to the rest of this hectic style of the modern life.”
Elise kissed Joey’s hand after pulling it from her face, standing to go to her desk and search for the poem. After a few moments of searching further, she found the poem she’d been working on for at least a week now, trying to perfect it. She thought she was done, and now would be the time to see if she was right. She walked back over to Joey, and sat down, his arms instantly wrapping around her in a protectively sweet embrace.
“Joey... I wrote this for you, you know? It’s called, One. I hope you like it...”
She read the sweet words off the page, letting them come easily, as poetry and songs were meant to be read.
“Oh precious one I know,
All my heart is what I owe;
For the kindness given to me,
For friendship given so faithfully.
The wind whispering sweetly like your words,
Beautifully as the song of the birds;
A spirit pure and true,
Never has there been one like you.
You are never harsh or mean,
You’ve not ever said one hateful thing;
You can always cheer me up,
No matter what put me in a slump.
Sweetly whispered words of kind,
Forever embedded within my mind;
Ever etched into my soul,
You are the one to make me whole.”
“Elise... that was beautiful...” Joey breathed, planting a heart-warming kiss to her lips.
“I am glad you liked it... so very glad. I have been working on it for some time now, and I had hoped it was well worth the time and emotions spent.”
“It was... believe me, my dear Elise.” Joey said, planting another kiss to her petal soft lips. How he could kiss them forever.
“Joey, you are too wonderful, as I said before...” she whispered, smiling as she pushed Joey to his back. “Now...” she said, leaning over him to kiss his lips as he‘d done hers. “What shall we do with our morning?”
He smiled. “Maybe we could go outside and have some more of this fun?”
She looked puzzled for a moment. “Fun? What do you mean?”
“Well, let’s see... your beautiful poetry is an inspiration to do something romantic, yet you pushing me on my back and leaning over me, well... it’s an entirely different story now.” He winked, and laughed lightly.
“Hey! Joey...” she sighed. “You and your jokes....” She laughed. “So, you want to go outside and explore in the woods? Or maybe even sit out in the garden and talk or do something else?”
“It’s all up to you, Elise. I told you. You decide for the morning, and I for this afternoon.”
She hugged him. “Alright, come on then.”
“Come where?” he asked, a bit curious.
“You shall see, and I’m not tell you now.” She winked, standing to put her writing back up and to head towards the door.
Joey followed, and he smiled when he saw her leaping down the flights of stairs at the end of the hall. He sighed o himself, glad to be married to her, glad she was his wife and the one he loved. How she managed to always keep him on his toes and make sure he was happy, he’d never understand, but he loved her all the more for it.
“Elise, wait up, love!” he called after her, bounding down the stairs himself.
“See? I told you you’d like it, after you stopped asking fifty times where I was taking you.” Elise smiled, gesturing to the lovely clearing.
“Elise... wow. It’s beautiful!” Joey stood in shock.
The grass was as green as spring time, even if it was just hitting the end of winter. The trees were tall, but let the sky shine through to reveal a warm morning sun on the area. Flowers were growing all over, and they seemed of the wildest sort. A small brook trickled to the far side, and it seemed as if it were the type of place found in tales of the faerie folk. Elise stood in the middle of it all, her crimson cloak swirling about her as she spun around.
“Isn’t this grand? I found this place when I was a child, and it never changes, no matter what the season!” She beamed, happy as if she still were the child who found this magical place. “Come on Joey, I wish to show you the best part!”
He followed her, and she reached for his hand, dragging him to the far side of the clearing, a lone willow stood by the brook. “Elise... what is this place?”
“I nicknamed it Paradise in my younger years, but now I call it by the name it should be. Rowan Oak. A faerie told me that when I came here last year on my birthday, when I had a few minutes to slip away.” She winked, knowing he’d worried when she’d gone, but was now relieved to know where she’d been. “Here... look just inside, but make no sound, alright?”
Joey nodded, and held his breath as he peeked in under the protective boughs of the willow. There, amid the leaves, waters, and wild flowers, faeries danced and threw a little party of there own. It was the most peculiar sight he’d ever witnessed. A single faeries saw him, though he made no sound, and quietly slipped away.
“Hello there,” she said as Joey leaned back to be in sight of Elise on the other side.
“H-hello?” he stammered, never having talked to a faerie before.
“Oh! Elise! So wonderful of you to finally bring him here! Joey, I take it?”
“Yes. Joey, this is the faerie, Maelie. She’s the one who told me of this place’s true name. She’s one of my best friends.”
Maelie bowed and leapt from in front of Joey’s face to disappear in a flash of light, and have a human sized version of herself standing in front of them.
“Much better...” she said, dusting herself off. “It’s so wonderful to be in a more comfortable size. It’s so hard to be little, and also to try to talk to humans when being so....” She giggled in the cutest voice.
“I see... Elise, why take me here? It is a wonderful place, and Maelie is certainly a pretty thing, and an interesting person to talk to, so it would seem. But still, I must ask why here?”
“Oh, Joey... I wanted to show you, so I could come here with you, and so that I wouldn’t have to be alone.” She looked to Maelie, a cross look on her face. “Oh, Maelie, you know what I mean. It’s wonderful to be among your kind, but I always wanted to share this place with someone I loved... now I can!” She beamed.
“Elise... are you sure it’s alright? Is this not their kingdom?”
Maelie giggled. “Oh no, silly! We faeries don’t have any...’kingdom’.... Merely live where we please. I am so happy to be here with Elise when she decides to come, but now to have you here with her, it shall be more fun!”
“Elise, why choose now to show this to me?” he asked, puzzled by all of this sudden change.
“I chose to do it today, because I thought it might be a nice surprise.... Do you not want to be here?”
“Oh, no... it’s lovely here, but it’s so sudden... and such a big change.”
“I know, and I am greatly sorry for this as well....” Elise lowered her head, and became very sad. “I thought I should’ve brought you here sooner, just to get you used to everything...stupidly, I did not...”
Joey took Elise’s face in his hands. “Do not be sad, please? I did not mean to make you unhappy, and it’s not that bad. It’s just new and sudden. I shall get used to it very soon. Alright?” Joey kissed Elise’s forehead, but her sad expression remained.
Maelie looked to Elise, then to Joey. “Aw, this shall not do at all. I hate to see Elise so unhappy.... Hmm...” the little faerie pondered something for a moment. “How would you both like to come and join our festival of Spring? We are preparing for the new season, and it’s loads of fun!”
Elise looked to Joey. “Would you like to? Maelie can make us their size, so we’d fit right in, if we lost our cloaks. What do you say?”
He thought for a moment, then nodded. “Alright. It seems as though it would make you happiest, so I think I shall join the festival with you both.”
Elise’s eyes brightened and she hugged Joey tightly. “Oh! You are truly wonderful Joey! I thank you so much...”
“Well then!” Maelie said, clapping her hands together, and relieving them both of their cloaks. “Let this festival begin!”

Clair De Lune--Chapter 2
It was only a year and two months later that everything was scheduled and ready. Her eighteenth birthday had arrived, and with it, her wedding day. She was so nervous and frantically running about to get ready.
"Calm down child. He'll be worried sick if you are. Just calm yourself and everything shall be fine. I cannot get your dress over your head with you running about!"
Her dear friend and mentor for years now, Maddie, was telling her not to fret. How could she not? It was her birthday, and also the day of her wedding to the man she loved most. She was frantic for a reason, at least. She took a deep calming breath and stood still, allowing Maddie to pull the dress on over her head and zip up the back. It fit like a dream. It was a light, light silver color, slender and accenting her curves. She smiled and thanked her friend.
“Maddie, what would I do without you? I’m so nervous. It’s a double celebration, and it’s a big leap in my life. I’m not sure what I should do.... I love him dearly, and I would do anything for him, but at the same time... I’m so scared. I’m taking a big leap of Fate in doing this... but I feel it’s what’s right. Oh! I’m so nervous Maddie!” she cried into the strong arms of the older woman.
“There, there child. All is well. You are just having a fit of the jitters and it’s only normal. Heck! If I didn’t go through the same, and your mother with her wedding too!” the woman boasted. She laughed heavily, then absently rubbed Elise’s back. “Elise... dear child, I know you are nervous, but he’s a good man. I see he will treat you well, and he wouldn’t dare to not, risking crossing me and unleashing my temper and switch across his back side!”
“Oh Maddie!” They both laughed. She always knew how to cheer Elise up. “Maddie, I think I can get done from here. If I need help with my hair, I shall call for you, alright?”
“Alright dear. Remember, call if you need anything.” She winked before she left the room, closing the oaken doors behind her.
Elise ran to her balcony, needing the fresh air and sight of the moon and stars. It was perfect, as she’d wanted it. Joey, as he liked to be called, was going to be there soon... out in her garden, the moon full and bright and the stars shining down upon them as if it were some magical faerie tale. She took in a deep breath of air, looking down at the place around her.
“This is my home... this is the land I grew up in.... He loved me enough to come here and ask to spend his life here with me, giving up all he had.... I love him...” she cried into her hands, thinking of the past year.
Joey and Elise had been spending so much time together, going out to have sweet talks in the woods, riding their beautiful stallions or just walking. He’d shared with her everything he’d left out since she’d first met him, and she did the same for him. They’d shared everything, from their darkest fears, to their most painful memories. She was so happy she could open up to him like she had. How long had it been since she’d felt so alive in life?
She sighed. “It’s been far too long since I was able to be myself with another. I miss him now... even if I shall see him in a few hours... it’s still too long. Maybe... I should go and see him? No... it is bad luck to do such....” she sighed once more. “Maybe I am ready now? I must go and wipe away these tears of frustration and joy. I must put on my jewelry and fix my hair. Yes. I shall go and do that now.”
She composed herself, smoothed her dress, went to sit at her antique vanity set and began to comb out her hair with the ivory combs given to her by her mother before her passing two years ago. She’d cherished them dearly since then, and even before. After putting on the silver rose necklace Maddie had laid out for her, Elise had finished combing her hair, and was setting to braiding it in the Irish tradition she’d grown to love so well, when a knock at her door startled her. She paused in mid-braid and asked for them to come in.
“Elise...” she heard him breathe. “You look so amazing.”
“Joey! What-” she stammered, letting her hair fall about her shoulders. “You aren’t supposed to be in here yet! Don’t you know it’s not good luck to see one another before everything begins?”
He nodded. “Yes, but I wished to see my beloved before then. I could not take the suspense of not being able to see you until then.” He came to fold her into his warm, comforting embrace.
“Oh, my love... I needed to see you too... but fear of traditional customs told me not to, for fear something would go wrong.” She wrapped her slender arms around his waist, holding him closer to herself.
“Elise... customs be damned if it means I don’t get a moment to see you in our last few moments before we are joined by marriage. I love you... nothing would have stopped me from seeing you now.”
She smiled. “I’m glad... I need the reassurance. I am so nervous, Joey.... I am so glad I got to see you too....” She hugged him close again before he leaned down for a kiss.
“Elise, I am nervous myself, which... is why I came. I wanted to see you, and reassure myself.” He gave her a sweet, comforting grin. “Looks like it did us both some good. Now, I must go, my angel. I do not want Maddie to come in here and find me, then chew us both out, alright?”
She nodded, and he leaned down to kiss the tip of her nose, then her forehead. She whispered her last “I love you” that she would get before they became a married couple, and watched him leave through the same doors Maddie had exited through earlier. She smiled, sighing a deep, calming breath of relief. To know he felt the same as she... nervous and yet overjoyed at the same time, it was comforting.
“Until later on, my love.... Until then,” she whispered.
Maddie came in a few moments later to help her with her hair, setting about braiding it and pulling them back in a crown around her forehead into one, spiraling braid down her back. The rest of her hair was curled and left flowing about her shoulders in bouncing waves of auburn. Elise looked at herself in the mirror. She looked just like her mother had. Only, her mother’s dress had been white, and her mother’s eyes were a deep, sad green, compared to her bright blue.
“Maddie... is it time now?”
Maddie nodded from the balcony. “Yes, child. They are ready for you. Now, you best hurry, and I shall be down in a moment after you, sweetie.”
Elise went to hug Maddie once more. “Oh! Maddie... I thank you for all you’ve done in my life, in all the while I’ve known you...”
“No problem, dear. No go on! You don’t want to be late for your own wedding, do you?” The older woman smiled, looking Elise over and pushing her to the door, tears stinging her eyes.
Once Elise had hugged her once more, she ran out the door and down the long corridor. Maddie let her tears slip by just a little. Her smile was one of joy as she saw the woman she’d helped raise run off to her future.
The priest was waiting patiently, and Joey stood, smiling. He was handsomely dressed in a traditional suit. She smiled, and couldn’t help the tears forming in her eyes, but she wouldn’t let them fall. Her father waited for her, dressed as he used to, handsomely in his favorite suit attire, as when her mother was alive. He was as she remembered.
Clair de Lune played softly in the background as she and her father made their way to the front of the reception. She kissed his cheek lightly, and then she looked at Joey. His own eyes were filled with tears of joy, his brilliant black eyes shining brightly with hints of green.
The priest started the reception, and everything went silent. He asked that Elise and Joey exchange the vows, written by each of them.
Joey smiled, his voice soft, but heard over the entire garden. “Elise... I love you. I love you more than words. I love you more than emotions can express. I love you more than life is worth. I would gladly give all I have just to see you smile. I would gladly give everything to spend life with you. I would gladly give all I am for your love. I would gladly give my life if it meant saving yours.
“I only ask for you to be safe. I only ask for your happiness. I only ask for your love. I only ask for you, Elise. I promise with all that I am and shall ever be... I shall love you until our dying days, until all the world blackens and leaves us behind.”
Elise smiled, her tears shimmering in her eyes, almost unable to be held back, but somehow she managed, and said her own vows. “Joey... I love you. I love you more than anything. I love you more than I could imagine. I love you more than poetic words could describe. I want you by my side forever. I want you to always be happy. I want you to know how I feel. I want you to know I love you eternally. I want only you... I only ask for you... I would gladly give all for you... I love you....
“Joey, I shall do all I can to make you happy, keep all your pain away, and be there for you no matter what you may need. I promise this forever and more, my love.”
The priest continued with the reception, and everything went better than could have been expected. Elise let her tears fall at the end, as she and Joey shared the first kiss of their new life together.

Clair De Lune-- A story inspired by the song "Clair De Lune" and the on whose made me so happy...
"Today, it was a day like no other. I have found he, whom of which, has stuck my desire, the true depths of my heart and soul and the one I long to be with today.... Oh, dearest stars, I wish you can see and reply back to me. I am so joyously within grand spirits tonight. He is such the sweet and kind soul. I do wish my heart could reach him now... no. I know for fact it does. It is just, just so amazing. This feeling threatening to burst within my heart.
“I do feel he’s the one for me. I do feel it... Oh! Stars, can you not feel it too? I love his voice, his touch, his sweet smile... oh I long to be in his arms now... but he is far away... far, far away from me. I know I am still in his thoughts. I have a letter he wrote to me... Do you wish to hear it stars? I shall read it aloud to you if you’d like...”
She gently reached into her pocket for the note, the ball continuing as planned. She neared her seventeenth birthday, and she was in such great spirits to know he’d be coming for that time. She slowly, carefully unfolded the paper of sweet smelling parchment that he sent her, his beautiful script upon it. Clair de Lune played in the background. It was her favorite song, and he’d been the one to introduce her to it.
“Oh, my sweetest angel... I do hope you are well within this hour. I have missed you dearly since last we spoke, and it seems these days grow too long, the nights too many. I am going to come and see you on the day of your birth. I miss you so dearly, and my heart is always with you, know this. I love you with all my soul, my heart. I would hope you feel the same, and if not? Well, then I wouldn’t care any the lesser. Know you are always in my thoughts, and always near my heart. Sweetest of nights, and purest of days.
Love Always,
Your Guardian
“Oh, stars, is he not so kind? It was his latest letter. He is too good to be true. I am just so happy with him!” she proclaimed, the music still playing and soothing her soul. “What is it that I feel? I believe it to be love... but is it truly? Oh stars... oh night... do tell me. I wish to know if he is who I’m meant to be happy with....”
A sound from behind startled her, and she instantly shifted on her heels. She looked for a moment, then froze, dropping the letter to the floor of the balcony. He was there. Her beloved had been standing there and had been listening.
“Oh!” she gasped. “You are here! I am so happy!”
She ran to hug him, and he returned her embrace deeply. She smiled, crying tears of absolute, and unrepressed, joy. She leaned up to kiss his cheek, and he smiled, even blushing a slight bit.
“Yes, I am here. I wanted to surprise you, and isn’t it funny and yet practical that you’d go and talk to the stars about me? How much more have you revealed to them? You know I don’t like them hearing everything.” He winked, smiling at her and placing a kiss to her forehead.
“I have missed you since last we spoke. It has been far too long!” She embraced him all the more, burying her face into his shoulder and breathing in his sweet scent. He smelled of sweet candles and red roses. “It’s so grand to see you. Wait, from your letter... I thought you were coming on my birthday, and no sooner.... Why are you here now? It’s a grand surprise, but...”
He smiled brightly, picking her up and spinning her around once, before placing her back on her feet. “I merely wanted to surprise you, and I have a bit more planned than what I had told you.”
“Such as what?” she asked, giving him a curiously childish grin.
“Well, in your room in there, you shall find poems and sketches I promised you... but there’s more.”
She walked with him inside after carefully gathering the letter, the wispy curtains blowing in from a gentle breeze outside. She covered her arms with her hands and watched him carefully as he began to show her the sketches of intricately designed creatures and scenes of a romantic couple in beautiful places. Poems of such exquisite contrasts and magical words leapt to her as she read them, filling her heart with warmth the more she saw.
“I do not understand.... These are more than enough. More than what I should deserve, but yet you say there’s more?”
He nodded, and rubbed her arms with his hands, seeing she was a bit cold. He took her onto the balcony for a moment more. The moon was full, and the stars brightly shimmering and dancing in their perches in the night’s sky.
“This won’t take long, or so I hope, for I do not wish to see you so cold. I merely have one favor to ask... which... is also why I am here so early. I have talked with everyone already, but the most important person of all left to speak with on this matter...” he spoke gently, caressing her cheek lightly. “...is you. I want your opinion more because... it is pretty much about you and me.”
She looked into his eyes, and smiled so sweetly, so gently, it almost made him want to take her into his arms and hold her there forever, as he hoped she’d let him do. She nodded and said, “Go on...”
He took a deep, calming breath. “My dearest angel... Elise... I would ask you on this night... if you’d spend you life with me. If you’d grant me eternity to be with you and keep you safe.”
Her eyes went round and wide. She was speechless and she became even more so when he pulled the silver ring from his pocket. It was fitted with a slender moonstone, prefect and glittering like the stars and his eyes. She stared at him for the longest while, unable to speak, before she slowly nodded her head and hugged him.
“I do not know how to even begin to describe how I feel....” she whispered. “I am so lucky to have met you to begin with, and to have known you for the few years I have.... I just... My love... you are so wonderful!”
She kissed him and he took that to be a yes. He gently slipped the ring onto her finger and smiled at her, taking her face into his hands. He kissed her feather-light.
“Then, Elise, my angel... this starts our new life together.... I will always keep you safe and I shall always make sure you are happy.”
~~~~Be honest and tell me what you thought of the first chapter of my story. ^_^ I really am happy about it. Ja.~~~~
Love is Light in Darkness
Such is the death of depression,
Such is the death of sorrow,
Can we honestly change the winds of time,
The winds of undying heartache and devotion?
Are we truly so mad as to kill those like us,
Are we truly so heartless to go and hurt those we love,
Those who'd die for us,
Those who'd live forever with us in eternity?
Such is the hell of endless rage,
Such is this madness of humanity,
All those fools who know nothing of love,
Those who are too fearful to learn to accept it.
Love is a precious gift,
Lovers are a precious sight to behold,
Miracles are created by love,
And brought down by seeds of hate and lies.
Such is the death of depression,
Such is the seed of fear and man,
Such is the undying hells of remorse,
Love is the only light in this endless tunnel of darkeness called Humanity.
~~~~Sorry about that. I felt as though a bit of a change was in order. Love is a light among the darkenss. And I, for one, am not to see it destroyed. I was afraid for a while, and I was afraid to love and open up.... But, I can safely say it's no longer the case, and I've found someone who makes me truly happy. ^_^ I'm not tell who, though.
~My friend... I'd hurt him, and he needed to forget we were ever more than friends, so he could finally live in peace and move on as he'd been wishing to for a while now. Sadly... did he heed my advice? Nope. He's as stubborn as any other man. ^_^ Ah well.
~Today promises to be an odd, yet welcome day. It brings winds of change and of peace and a bit of uncertainty. As most days do. ^_^
~WELL! At the party with my sister... I allowed her a grand time. The others paired up and were somewhat distant from her, despite their claims of friendship. I now know why she's so unhappy when talking to them or coming home from school. WELL! I skated (even if it was the gay roller skates with the two sets of wheels that I have no balance in ^_~) even if I couldn't find my roller blades. I showed my little sister a grand time. ^_^ Fell flat on my ass when I went with her to...*sigh* Do the "hokey Pokey" dance... Lol, as I said, I have no balance. I fell two other times, spraining my ankle... comforted my little sister when she fell down and crushed a few fingers under her skates... made a few friends among the midgets, lol, and I had a pretty good time. I even bought my sis a light up flashy thing. She loved it, lol, and i got a magnetic flashing light. ^_^ It was fun to do that with her.... Sadly, I'm not EVER wearing white to another skating rink again. With the black lights on, I glowed like a freaking PIXY! ^_^ It was ok though... I kinda liked the glowing thing, lol. Although... got more attention than I like. ^_^ Well, this was pointless. Ja! ^_~

Today.... (all I got)
I'm not sure how to describe today...it hurts a bit... but it's also a good day, to an extent. I am having to tell a friend to forget about me, so he won't be hurt... It hurts me, but since I still care... it must be done. He deserves to be happy, and wouldn't be with me now.... I hope all of you are having a good day. Ttyl... Ja...

PS- Sorry it's so short, gtg and take my sister to her friend's party.. but I get to skate, lol. Ja.

The SUPER Work Challenge!!!!
OK! So, like... last night at work, I was really freaked about getting an answer from a person I care for about something... So I was like, ok, whatever... and stoped worrying, and my day went by FAST cause of the sugar high... WELL! I was crashing by the end of the night, and SO badly wanted to pass out! Lol.. So neway, I was talking to Hensen, one of the managers, and we were goofing off while everyone was in the theaters and no one out in the lobby. He says, "Wanna try soem of this water with me? I'll take a shot if you do." I look at him like he's insane, and I HONEST TO GOD thought it was plain water. "Come on," he said, fixing the two small cups (about the amount size of a milk carton at schools), and I figured, Hell, why not?
SO! I take my cup, and he takes his. He says Go, and I swallowed most of it in one gulp... omfg.... It was PURE Carbonated Water! I was gagging and tried to get my drink to get the horrid taste out of my mouth. Heheh, later on, he has a large cup that apparently he filled with the wrong drink or something, but he says "Hey, why don't we have a challenge, anyone who can drink a large FULL of the water, in under a minute, I'll give a prize to." I said Hell freaking yeah! Lol...SO! All day at work, I was preparing myself mentally for the challenge. I was even stupid to put one parts carbonated water to 2 parts mellow yellow. I ruined that drink for life! Lol, still about the only thing I'll drink at work nemore. ^_^ WELL! I finally ask him close to time for us to go, and he initiates it after we get everything clean. He goes and changes his mind on the amount (since I was the only one doing it) and he says, "If you can down three of these (The small cups again) I'll give you some money." I said, "Alright, how much time I got?" He and TJ, a co-worker of mine, they estimate I could PROBABLY get one down in 15 sec. each... HA! And so they say, hmm, thirty seconds... well, 45 seconds for all three, so, yeah, that'd do it. I say, alright. I take a glass, then start laughing, and quite, telling Hensen to let me know when. He says Go, I gulp down the first two in nothing, but my throat became so numb, and I was trying to keep the second one down and it was HILLARIOUS! I finally have to force the 3rd one down my throat because my throat was so numb... and remember, this is PURE Carbonated Water. ^_^ The guys were squirming and everyone was making me laugh so hard when I was trying to talk by laughing themselves. ^_^ WELL! I got ALL three down in exactly 30 seconds! ^_^ (one of the managers had a stop watch) SO! I was happy. Heh, we attempted to get TJ to down just ONE and he couldn't, lol. He said the taste was so bad, and Hensen couldn't do it. Alan(Another manager), well, he can't down anything worth crap! Lol... it was great. Now I'm working on beating 21 seconds. ^_^ I love chugging contests! I win most every time! ^_^ Hehe, and Demetre andKya know that, as well as Brosneka! ^_~ We all hung out at a party last year... school party, but still. ^_^ I love showing I can out-do a guy in thigns! It makes me feel happy! Lol...WELL! That's that...
~~~~SO! now onto other matters. I got my answers back from the person (what it was about, or who it was, NO ONE is gonna be told. ^_~) and I'm happy with them. So, that's one good thing...
Sadly, my ankles getting worse... and it was almost healed. BUT! I don't have to work until maybe this weekend. ^_^ Last night was the only day I had to work. ^_^ I was freaked out hen I came home to read the answers via email... it was like... "AW! omg... just.. omg!" Lol... I was STUNNED to silence! Lol, yeah, seriously, although Brosenka and Kya and Demetre might find that a bit hard to believe. ^_~ It's true enough though... I wanna cry happy tears today... dunno why. ^_^ I also have a work meeting today. ^_^ Gonna be funny if they bring it up, lol. SO! I shall take my leave. Have fun! Don't do anything I won't do! ^_~ Ja!~~~~
Holy Water--a fav, by Big and Rich....
Somewhere there's a stolen halo.
I used to watch her wear it well.
Everything would shine wherever she would go,
But looking at her now, you'd never tell.
Someone ran away with her innocence,
A memory she can't get out of her head.
And I can only imagine what she's feeling when she's praying,
Kneeling at the edge of her bed.
And she says: "Take me away", and "Take, me Father."
"Surround me, now, and hold, hold, hold me like holy water:
Holy water.
She wants someone to call her "Angel";
Someone to put the light back in her eyes.
She's looking through the faces, and unfamiliar places.
She needs someone to hear her when she crys:
And she says: "Take me away", and "Take me, Father."
"Surround me, now, and hold, hold, hold me like holy water.
She just needs a little help,
To wash away the pain she's felt.
She wants to feel the healing hands,
Of someone who understands.
And she says: "Take me away", and "Take me, Father."
"Surround me, now, and hold, hold, hold me.
She says: "Take me away", and "Take me, Father."
"Surround me, now, and hold, hold, hold me like holy water:
"Like Holy water.
"Like Holy water.
"Like Holy water."
~~~~My ankle's getting no better, and I am feeling slightly better. I cried for the first in a while today... or... almost did in from of a lot of people. I hurt, but I'm well... not dead yet, at least... Heheh.... Heh, first time this year... I almost fell asleep in Algebra, lol. I really need to get more sleep... but... Meh. Lol. I hope all of you are well. I shall try to feel better... but for now, this song feels similar... as if it relates to me somehow, and it honestly does, except for the religious sense. I hope to talk to you all later, but who knows if I'll be back on fo ra while.... Maybe. Ja...~~~~
"Then she fell, having cast the angel aside,
She knew her heart would break, soon as her time she'd have to bide.
Why'd she have to do such a thing,
Knowing her heart no longer had wings?"
"Do angels ever die of a broken heart? Or do their souls get put into a better place?"

Broken...
Broken souls with broken wings, to paradise they fly.
All alone in misery, to their fates they die.
A single one stands alone, lost within the cold.
Lost without cause, the spell was broken that which was to hold.
Hoping someone would mend what she could not,
No one seemed to fit the part.
Until the day she met that angel from the skies,
But how to make him see, as without destination she flies?
She decided it was best to just leave him alone,
Until he too could see, and take her with him as he'd her heart all along.
~~~~I am not happy, I wish to cry... in fact, I might. I am breaking down, and why? I've no clue... I have fallen down twice today, thanks to the rain and my physical problems.... I am shaking so badly, and wondering why the blood has come back, and why I am so upset.... I cannot explain it, and I want to.... Somehow, I think that poem is for someone... a friend.... I don't know why, but it seems to fit.... Who? I won't say... I don't want to.... I made my choice today as well.... Maybe that's part of my illness? I couldn't figure out right now if I tried.... it hurts far too much. I hope you all are well. Ja...~~~~
An off day...
Other than almost falling down and passing out on the bathroom floor this morning.... I dunno. Today promises to be an off day. Something... just doesn't feel right. I've let my answer known, and sometimes, things just aren't worth being happy for. I apologize for my mood, and I do hope you are all well. I might not be until I find out why I'm sick again. There was... more this morning, as there was many weeks ago. I spitting it up... I'm sorry, gross, I know. I must go. I'll be sure to try to post a new poem for when I get home today. Ja.
