   Feelin' not so good...
John slid among the walls as an invisible plague, with intentions to decipacitate anyone posing a threat. A tool used throughout the Spartan's life was his motion sensor, this tool had perhaps saved his life many times. John came to a slowed stop, observing the transiet contact on his faithful sensor. He read a group of jackals and grunts hastily running down the adjacent hallway. He waited for them to pass, soon they would run into an atomshpere that didn't support the necessary gasses that allow the aliens to live, compliments of Cortana. The chief resumed his silent quest down the hallway to the reactor. He finally passed through the long corridor. Only to find an amazing site. The legendary brute, Tartarus, stood directly 2 meters in front of John. His body was littered with scars, his fur color was white, and his eyes were crimson red, burning with hate. In Tartarus' hand rested a giant hammer, and at the end was an electrical current lashing out at the air. The Spartan had lost the battle before it started. How did Tartarus know of the Chief's plan to detonate the reactor? John almost forgot that he was holding his shotgun. He cocked the shotty, then fired continously at the brute's face. The chief backed up as he fired to run-the only tactical option. Tartarus stood there unflinching, he laughed at the Chief with dsigust. "Hahaha, Demon your tactics offend me! Now witness your destined death!" Tartarus bellowed. Tartarus wielded his ton hammer as if it were a nothing to worry about. The giant piece of mass was thrown at high speeds directly into the chief's solarplex, sending John airborne through the hallway. John's whole life flashed before him, from the time he was a little boy to now. John seemed to float for decades when he finally hit the floor. The Spartan didn't scream, but he only clutched his chest in immense pain, the sound of him gasping for air sounded. The chief's mobility was equal to a paralyzed man. Cortana kept monitoring his biosign annd encouraged hihm to hold on, but he was unreachable. He was now seeing the holy tunnel he had always sought but never found. He laid on the floor, lifeless. The Spartan sensed internal bleeding and knew this could be his last mission. Right there on the cold floor, he heard something, he heard the departed spartans encouraging him to get up, and fight like no other. John's adrenaline coursed through his veins, welcoming godlike power to every part of his existence. Tartarus began thinking of how to finish his prized catch off, when the chief flipped onto his feet with his shotgun and shot the anti-gravity switch, then pumped a shell into the illuminating lights. "Demon! Your tricks will never decieve me, stop your feint attempts!" roared the beast. The chief ran along the wall and flipped onto the gorilla and pumped his shotty several times at the base of Tartarus' neck, momentarily disorienting him. Tartarus regained momentum and blindly swung his hammer in an 180 and obliterated the wall like paper. Tartarus looked around and saw Spartan 117 lunging in for the kill with an energy sword....
