I'm sorry!
Sorry I haven't been around, I went to New England for three days to look at colleges. When we went to the University of Rhode Island, I kept thinking of Family Guy names (i.e. Pawtucket Patriots) and I had Stewie and Brian's song "We're off on the Road to Rhode Island" stuck in my head. I also pointed out to everyone that asked where I was from that I was from NORTHERN Virginia, heh heh. We also just walked around Harvard, but I felt I was tainting the place with my non-4.5 GPA. Far from it, actually. But they did have an awsme comic/manga store, where I picked me up the latest JLA, which actually wasn't that good. I should have gotten the Flash, but it was 5 bucks more expensive. Anywho, I got me a new CD player(I've been using my mom's). It's this rad thing, that's like, white and neon red, and has a little controller. Now all I need is the Spidey 2 soundtrack, and I'll be set for summer. Not much else goin' on. Oh, since I'll be gone for 6 weeks starting Saturday, I had to get rid of all my Author Alerts for ff.net cause when I got back, I would have had like, 500. Except for Shanny's. She's the only one I kept. :)
Oh, I also took advantage last weekend of the Allposters.com 1.98 sale and got a ROTK Leoglas poster and a Kill Bill vol.1 poster! The s&h was like, 6 bucksmore than the posters combined. But who cares. I probably won't get them before I go to camp, though. My parents will be at home and like "Where the hell did this giant tube come from?!?!"
I finished my Into Thin Air book, by Jon Krakeur(sp?). It was fantastic. I highly recommend it, ESPECIALLY if you:
a)climb
b)like journalim
c)like tradgedy and/or adventure
d)like the tallest montain in the world
My comp's still fried. My brother's going to try and reformat it while I'm away, so sorry everyone on AIM and MSN. :(
One other thing, if you sign my GB in the next six weeks, PLEASE don't spam me with "Y HAVEN'T U SINED MY GB WHERE R U?!?!?!?! IM TAKING U OFF MY FRIENDS LIST!!!"
Quite frankly, I haven't signed your GB because
a)I find people that write like this to be annoying and
b)I'm in West Virginia. I'll be lucky to find a fax machine, much less a computer with internet access.
RED'S MAGNANIMOUS MOVIE QUOTE
Yes, last week/day was Liar Liar.
Sorry, no pic.
Ok, here's the deal. Since I'm leaving for the length of time that I am, I invite you, the reader, to do the quotes. People can put up quotes that they really like, or they can actually try and stump people(Niko should kick ass at this one). And other readers can guess the first people's quotes, and so on, and so forth. Course, you don't have to. 'Tis only a suggestion while you are waiting around for the lovely Tigress to return.
Well, I hope y'all enjoy yer summer. I've gots to learn me that West Virginya song befors I go on back. So long, fa-rend.

SUMMER MOFO DAYS!
HAHAHA, SCHOOL'S OUT! So, I went to graduation yesterday(to play in the band, not to graduate) and the guest speaker was Tom Shadyac. If you don't know who that is, he's the director of movies such as Ace Ventura, Bruce Almighty, The Nutty Professor, Liar Liar, Patch Adams, and a couple other random things. He was SOOOOO funny:
"I'd like to thanks the graduates, the parents, and graduates, thank your parents for having unprotected sex 18 years ago."
or
"I have this game. It's called Fact or Crap. No really! Look, I have it right here! *pulls out box of Fact or Crap game* Ok, graduates, fact or crap: once you're out of high school, life turns serious."
*Couple of seniors in audience yell out "Fact!"
"CRAP! HA!"
In addition to shamelessly promoting his own movies, he talked about farting, then about boob. While the students loved him, the school board attendees were less than thrilled. Heh.
Then I went to see Harry Potter 3 again, and eat thai food.
Then I came home, watched the MTV Movie Awards(GO JACK BLACK!), Miss Congeniality(Damn TBS for cutting out the good parts), Teen Titans(The one where Terra comes back), and Whose Line is It Anyway("Wrestling Music is not just a huge hit in the United States. And when I say United States, I mean Canada, too.")
Yes, my lazy summer days have started. Well, except for my summer reading. I've already gotten a jump on that, though. You know the Into Thin Air book I've been talking about about Mt. Everest. All I can say is, once you read that book, you will NEVER take oxygen for granted again.
RED'S MAGNANIMOUS MOVIE QUOTE(has a nice ring to it, doncha think?)
Grease Lightnin'!
(No, I DON'T know what that guy is doing in the back.)
"What the hell are you doing?
"I'm kicking my ass! Do you mind?"
Soooo many other good quotes I could use from that movie. Anyways, I shall now go celebrate my summer, by sitting on my ass and watching anime. Ciao!

Hope dangles on a string, like slow spiining redemption...
Ok, if you haven't heard that Dashboard Confessional song off the Spidey 2 soundtrack, I suggest you LISTEN. The soundtrack looks awsome too, with also groups such as Hoobstank, Train, Jet, Yellowcard, Maroon 5, Lost Prophets, The Ataris and Smile Empty Soul to name the bigger ones. It drops June 22. I'm getting it. I've tended to find soundtracks to superhero movies make the best albums ever (Spidey 1, Daredevil). So if you're a rock fan, pick it up, yo.
In more regular news, I finished all my hard finals. They were...hard. I think I failed the history one, and most likely the math analysis one and physics, too. Oh well, I never have to see those teachers again! *celebrates* Actually my physics teech was cool.
I read an interesting article in TIME yesterday about web blogs. Being a blog author myself, I found it uber-intersting *can't make little dots appear over the 'u'* If it wasn't for blogs, there would have been no Trent Lott scandal. Oh well, I like current event things like those.
I also started one of my AP Journalism books for next year, called Into Thin Air, about the '96 Everest disaster, from a first hand witness/reporter. SOOOOO good. Oh, that reminds me...
NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO MENTION THE LETTERS TOGETHER 'DBQ' ON THIS SITE. EVER.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, consider yourself blessed.
Whee, I have to go off and play Pomp and Circumstance at grduation for like, 2 hours straight tomorrow. Bleh. Oh, and I just found out, I'm not graduating until June 24 next year. HOW LAME IS THAT?
RED'S FANTASTICAL MOVIE QUOTE
Oh, yeah, I rode this ride in Cali. It sucked. The movie's good, though.
"When a guy picks a chick over his buddies, something's gotta be wrong. Come on, guys let's go for some pizza."
later, folks *skips off singing Spiderman theme*
EDIT: Oh, I didn't know that Backdraft poster was in French or somethin...

Someday, I'm going to DJ my own entire party.
Prom was really fun. We Danced alot, hehe. I did some awsome Hey Ya's and Spainish-ish dancing, and even some swing and kickboxing. THere was too much rap though. I figured they'd at least try and intersperse some 80's songs in there. "Girls just wanna have fun" or "Walk this way" or SOMETHING. There wasn't even any techno. You can't dance to rap. Hell, they didn't even have "Baby Got Back" which people LOVE to play at parties. Oh, they played one Green Day song at the beggining, when only like us and the special ed kids were there. They did take our request for Spice Girls Wannabe when no one else was there, though. Oh, and then they gave us these REALLY crappy plastic picture frames. But the food was good. My mom won't let me take my manicure and pedicure off(my first professional ones). mY DAD'S LIKE, "That's 15 bucks worth of paint!" and my mom's like "You can wear that ALL summer!" Meh, as soon as I go to camp, it's GONE.
I had my physics final today. You either knew how to do the questions or you didn't. No guessing there. I'm to freaked out to go check my grade online. Tomorrow's my history AP test. Man, I wanna throw up just thinking about it. Which I try not to do. Ugh, I won't be going to anyone's sites tonight, gomen.
RED'S FANTASTICAL MOVIE QUOTE(Notice, I've changed the name, cause Red's easier to type posessivly)
Nice, Niko. Someday, I swear, I'm going to have a "Try and Stump Niko Week."But not till after summer, or something, cause I'll be gone.
"What about the world, Ronald? What would you like to do to the whole world?"
"Burn it all."
That's all, folks.

I stick my fingers into my...EEEEYYYYEEEESSSSS!
No, not really, that's just the chorus from the new Slipknot song, Duality. Wicked cool song.
Hey, do you guys like the new pics and the new avi? That one of the Flash is by a very popular illustrator named Alex Ross. All his comics are realistic-looking like that. They're really cool. And he does Marvel stuff too. That's why that little comment is up there.
School today was laaaaaazyyyyyy. In art, we watched Family Guy and I drew a wicked picture of a hippogriff. Why were we watching something like Family GUy in the first place, you ask? Well, being the rich-kid snobby school we are, most of the kids(there are exceptions, like moi) get whatever the hell they want. So anyways, this kid had like a mini portable tv thing, or something, I dunno, with headphones that could go really loud, so we all crowded around him and watched. In history we watched a ten year old debate on whether Woman's Rights were a failure or not. That lady that wrote the Feminine Mystique was there. After that, we watched Reagan's funeral in English class. After that, we did nothing in math. Not that I'm complaining. Actually, I probably should have studied, considering finals next week, and I'm devoting an entire day to prom tomorrow.
Later tonight, I'm going to a band banquet for:
a)Pick up my varsity band letter and pin(yes, there is varsity in band, too)
b)free food, duh.
Anywho, somebody let me know if you see Chronicles of Riddick. I heard it was really good from one reviewer. But we shall see.
TIGRESS'S FANTASTICAL MOVIE QUOTE
Yes, it is Tora! Tora! Tora! Good job, Izzy, you got one, and Niko spelled it out for you.
"He just escaped from a maximum security prison."
"Should he just stay locked up forever?"
"That would be my choice."
"Is he really that dangerous?"
"Only around humans."
Now I'll take out one of my fav cd's ever(Matchbox 20's Mad Season) and go watch some after-school Buffy. C ya, guys!

Prom's almost here!
I'm excied, yet hesitantat the same time. Excited, cause it's time to spend with my friends and stuff, hesitant, cause there will also be loads of A-Holes there.
Today, the most interesting things that happened were, my two friends and I sang a techno song in band. The asian guy was the beat box, I did the "Do, doo doo do do do..." and my last friend sung "Do you think you're better off alone?" It was fun. And then in physics we also watched X-Men 2. GO NIGHTCRAWLER! And for those of you extra perceptive people out there, such as moi, you'll figure out that one of Stryker's comp files says "Remy LeBeau" and if you don't know what I'm talking about, you don't deserve to know.
(He'll be in the next one, along with Beast)
TIGRESS'S FANTASTICAL MOVIE QUOTE(I've just learned it's incorrect grammer to say 'Tigress'')
GoTS2 fans!
"I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."
Oldie, but goodie right there.
Ciao, folks. I gotta soccer game tonight, so that combined with the fact my comp's still fried, I won't be around much.

howdy do
Lemme just say, thanks to SG for the Badgers Football. That was great. It made my day.
We had a weird sub in physics who wanted to talk about his autobiography...it was boring. We watched Toy Story.
We actually had our first fiesta in Spanish class...tacos and stuff. However, one of the multiple A**holes in there ruined it, when he sprayed 409 all over the floor. THen our teacher blew up. I don't blame her.
After school, we had band rehersal for graduation, and i Had to play Pomp and Circumstance like, 20 times for two hours. My lips were hurtin like a bitch afterwards.
I'm still cramming for finals next week, and that combined with the fact that my own computer is dead "D...e...d...dead" I'm on niether AIM or MSN. And I probably won't get to most people's sites this week or next week...or the week after cause I'm out of town...or the week after cause then I'm out of town for 6 weeks...ANYWAYS, let's worry about that when the time comes. I'm just apologizing in advance.
Oh, and I still have Prom to go to on Saturday. Ok, most people are out of school, and we have yet to go to prom. Who makes up our frickin' schedual, geez?!?!?!
TIGRESS' FANTASTICAL MOVIE QUOTE-DISNEY WEEK
"A Whole New World" is probably my favorite love song...
"Has your mind been melted? You could have killed me, Space Ranger. Or should I say 'traitor.'"
"...I don't have time for this."
Ok, last Disney one for a while, make it count!

Mondays suck.
What else needs to be said?
My comp is whacked again, so I'm using my mum's whch isn't so good. There's crap all over the keyboard.
Uh oh, it's time again for...
TIGRESS' WEIRD ASS DREAMS
I thought most of you'd get e kick out of this one. You think your dreams are weird? Last night I dreamed I was none other than SG's very own Whip Cream. Yeah, weird, eh? Anyways, we busted some drug runners in a Safeway that trned into my school parking lot, and then there was a shootout, and the coolest thing I did was jump through an open car window into the drivers seat, heh heh.
Ok, I'm watching Static Shock, and it's pretty lame.
TIGRESS' FANTASTICAL MOVIE QUOTE-DISNEY WEEK
Yeah, Freaky Friday!
"Okay, Sparky, here's the deal: You wanna court the little lady, ya gotta be a straight shooter, do ya got it?"
Love that movie. Ok, check ya folks later.
Oh, and don't expect me around for awhile, cause my computer is offcially dead. I'll probably have to wipe the hard drive.
EDIT: Oh, and whoever has that master THAT list, Faera's in. What's that bring us up to, 33 or somethin? So anyways, when you see her around giver her a flaming THAT welcome.

HAHAHA, thanks for the great quiz, Aurus!
Hehe, Canada beware! Watch out, SG!
You are a sea bass! You are fun to be around, especially after you've eaten pasta. You prefer standing still to having your nails filed. Canada stands on guard for thee. Which One Are You?
