   It rains.
Well, the day started off ok. I walked into physics with a cicada on my neck and didn't know about it. Yeah, these things are becoming more fun every day. This week has been light in work, but hard in tests. I had a hard Spanish PALS today, with totally bogus topics. It was pretty bad. I don't think I did so hot.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to my Disney trip friday-wednesday. In case you haven't gathered by now, I'll be gone all weekend.

I need to get some new music before the trip. I can have one cd. I don't know which one to get, so, let's have a vote!

a)Kill Bill 1 or 2
b)Troy
c)Punisher
d)Shrek 2
e) any other rock or soundtrack cd's you'd like to suggest

TIGRESS' FANTASTICAL MOVIE QUOTES
C'mon, you guys need to get in the game...Die Hard with a Vengeance.

"First you trade the Cadillac for a microphone. Then you lie to me about the band. Now you're gonna put me right back in the joint. "

I think I've used this before, but that's ok, it's a classic, so it's forgiveable.

Hasta luego.

   yo
Hey guys, what's up, just letting you know I'll be around a little later today. I'm coming at you from my school library. These are NICE computers. I wish I had a Compaq Intel Pentium 4 processsor or whatever. Plus they're sleak and black Oh, and the cicadas have gotten worse. People have taken to buring them along with their potted plants I got one stuck in my hair yesterday. Bummer. Ok, ciao, folks.

   Happy Weekend, damn it!
Yesterday, I was really busy because I was taking care of my dad(he had knee surgery Firday) and then I had to be at school to watch the Navy Band preform. They were really awsome, by the way, they even played some John Williams and James Cattaway.

Today, the cicadas have actually resembled something more of a locast horde. I parked under a tree at a soccer game I was refereeing, and I got cicadas in my hair, and my shirt, and they were all over my car, and during the game they kept flying at me...it's nuts. All you east coasters that don't have any cicadas, and complain you don't see any, DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL.

I came home, and was supposed to work on my physics project with my friend, but we turned on VH1, and watched Awsomely Bad Outfits, AAwsomely Bad Hair, Awsomely Bad Videos, and Awsome Badder Videos for 4 hours. So basically we got nothing done. Which we kinda knew deep down was gonna happen anyway. Anyways, I actually have my laptop set up down here, so I can watch tv and chat/ surf at the same time.

TIGRESS' FANTASTICAL MOVIE QUOTES-HEIST WEEK
Well, kids, last day of Heist Week today. Hope you enjoyed the ride.

(So what's better, the 'fro, or the greasy thing?)

"You know how to fire one of these?"
"No."
"No?"
"Hey, all brothers don't know how to use guns, you racist [beep]."

Hehe, we'll cut down on the cursing tonight.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to watch my combo of Adult Swim and SNL's the Best of Christopher Walkin.

   Oh....oh god...
Interim grades. Meh, don't tell me it's 'nothing'. It matters to me, cause I can still get grounded. Everything was ok, except for the two Ds (in physics and history AP) but I'm pretty sure I can jack both those up in like, 2 weeks. It's more of what my mom says now that matters.

Yes, I'm lazy, I don't do school work. Bleh.

To proove this point, today I got home from school and was really tired. I could do:
a)sleep
b)read my book
c)play with cicadas(there's more today than yesterday)
d)watch daytime programming

I chose the last one. Which got me to seeing two hours of Buffy reruns. Although, one was rather funny. There was some demon that made everyone in the twon randomly break out into song like a musical. Giles was actually REALLY good(if that wasn't a dub, of course) and the girlfriend of Willow was really good too. Buffy and Michelle Tratenburg were mediocre. Xander plain sucked. Spike was more atoned for a British rock band type thing, I spose, but he was good too.

Oh, before that, my friend and I went to 7-11 and put a cicada on a shelf. Oh-ho-ho, quite the teenage pranksters we are! But when I was getting my slurpee, he brought it back outside.

ANYways, not much else goin down today. Oh, my movie clips for physics, I'm definently using the Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon rooftop chase/battle, and I'll probably use the one from Austin Powers 2 at the begging, where they're in the club, and the woman won't die, and then they fall out the window and he moves her under him and she still doesn't die. I love that scene.

WOOT, I'm going to Disney World Next Friday! Just thought I'd mention that.

TIGRESS' FANTASTICAL MOVIE QUOTE-HEIST WEEK
Once again, Niko rules with The Usual Suspects.

"I do believe Marsellus Wallace, my husband, your boss, told you to take ME out and do WHATEVER I WANTED. Now I wanna dance, I wanna win. I want that trophy, so dance good."

The name might give it away, but meh, whatever. See ya, heisters.

   Hehe.
When bored, it is best to play...

WITH CICADAS!

(That's actual size)

Today after school(well, after I preinted to the library, read Cream and Noug, had band rehersal), I came home. I was bored, so I went cicada hunting. Well, my dog was hunting. I was picking them up and putting them all over my hands. Yeah, it was fun. No it didn't hurt. No, they didn't bite me or anything.

What compelled me, you ask? Well, it actually all started when I went to eat lunch outside. A cicada landed on my friend's backpack, so I picked it up and put it on my finger and carried it around the courtyard. I even named it "Sasuke". I have NO idea why. Somebody had given me a ninja turtle mask earlier that day, so I was feelin kinda crazy.

Anyways, there are shells all over the place. I'm thinking to myself, "do these things have any natural predators, besides my dog?" It turns out they do. I saw one cicada that gave new meaning to the No Doubt song, "I'm Walking Into Spider Webs" cause, uh, that's what it did. Another had had it's head smashed in, and some kinda beetle was dragging it away. anyway, these things are kinda like fireflies, when you throw them in the air, they flyyyyy away. It was fun.

TIGRESS' FANTASTICAL MOVIE QUOTES-HEIST WEEK
If ski masks are not an option, Jack Black shows us panty hoes are.

"What the cops never figured out, and what I know now, was that these men would never break, never lie down, never bend over for anybody. Anybody."

Tata, folks!

Fancy that. I sure did alot of it. Well, when I wasn't taking a test. Farting around with a multimeter in front of my physics teacher for a test did not make my day.

Speaking of physics, I picked one clip for our project, my partner picked another one. I picked in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, the first rooftop chase/battle(that's scene 7 for you folks with the DVD, I think). So basically, that chick steals the sword, they run vertically over walls, she tries to fly away, you get the idea. My partner picked something from "The Pink Panther Strikes Back" but I haven't seen it yet. She doesn't watch movies that much, so I'll let her show her clip first, and then I'll blow her ass to China with my clip. And the communists will make her submit.

Wooh, my dog ate another cicada today. Little idiot. Both my dogs are male, btw, Chie. One's a stupid idiot weasel dog, and the other one's a nice gentle lummox who sleeps all day.

I won't be around much tonight, I got me a band/orchestra concert, as we get ready to slaughter LOTR music, and listen to the orchestra slaughter POTC music(which I can now play better than them, just by myself on my 'clary'...ok, that's what Squidward calls it).

TIGRESS FANTASTICAL MOVIE QUOTES-HEIST WEEK
I dunno where the Hell Beck is, but congrats, Niko, you're our new champ. I can't think of one quote you're missed. Kudos!

Ok...Cruise definently looks the best in this movie...allthough, last Samurai kicked too.

"Our enemy is wicked, so..."
"Dude, she's Freddy Krueger."
"Damien."
"Dude, she's Vader."
"No! She's the Emperor."
"Yeah, but with really great tits."

This is kinda like, the joke Heist movie, cause there is a kidnapping, but they kinda suck at it. I betcha can get it now.

   I don't care if Monday's black...
Actually I do. Today was a very black monday, seeing as I got some idea of some of my grades...

-_-

In any case. I bought the Fruits Baskets manga number 1. It's cute, and it's a nice comedy, but I think I need more action in my manga/anime *thinks of Naruto* now we're talking. In any case, it's a bit too...well...bubbly for me.

What else is new? At soccer practice today, I feel I've redeemed myself, cause I KICKED ASS! YEAH! Whatever. It doesn't matter during a practice.

Cicadas...now that you mention it, my dog had a cicada sandwich today. It was on it's bag, and I thought it was dead, so I picked it up, and it moved, so I threw it in the bushes and my dog ran after it and ate it. Dumb mutt. But yeah, those critters are everywhere now. I don't mind them, but other people go into such hysertics, it's sick.

TIGRESS' FANTASTICAL MOVIE QUOTE

*Drools over cars*

"While we're in Virginia let's stop by Fort Knox. I'll fly a helicopter through the lobby and land right inside the vault. And it would be a hell of a lot easier than breaking into the goddamn CIA."

Ok, so it's not technically a heist movie, but they still break into things. With ski masks.

   Sunday again.
Well, after a horrible soccer game yesterday, I came home and broke my shower head! But we needed a new one anyway. I didn't tell anyone, so I guess this morning my brother found out because i heard loud cursing, doors slamming and feet running over a wet floor. But anyways, that's not the point.

The point is, anyone see the new Inuyasha and Wolf's Rain yesterday? A nice little Miroku/Sango thingy mabobber goin' on. Oh, and in WR it was a little kinky when Toboe licked Tsume's cut, but they're WOLVES. It's what they do...just in himan bodies...

Moving on. Once again, I watched a hell ofa lota tv last night. Including Iron Chef. There was some annoying woman, but her name was Saitoh-San, so I couldn't hold it against her. I also watched SNL(with the Olsen Twins, puke), and it was Jimmy Fallon's last show(cries) but it's so bad I don't blame him for leaving. But next week, they're airing the best of Christopher Walken, so be sure to watch cause he RULES! *Does Fatboy Slim's Weapon of Choice dance*.

Meh, not much else to report.

TIGRESS' FANTASTICAL MOVIE QUOTE-HEIST WEEK
Yes, it's another themed week! So today, I'm kickin it off with...
Yeah, Ocean' 11! Rock on!

So, whaddya think ladies, does he look better here, or as long-haired, sweaty, bloody, Achilles?

"I'm fine."
"You know what fine stands for: Freaked-out, Insecure, Neurotic, and Emotional."

Yes, robbers, and robberesses, grab your ski masks and your plastic explosives, it's heist time!

   1500 visits, yay!
Thanks everyone!

Ok, today in physics, we got assigned a project where we have to take two movie or animated clips where the laws of physics are defined/ignored, and then show them to the class and do all these equations to proove them wrong. The example he showed was Spaceballs, where they go to Ludicrous Speed, and we calculated the force Rick Moraniss would be hitting the fron of the ship with would be about equivalent to dropping a stone block on your head, the length, witdth, and height of a football field.

You get the idea.

So anyways, I can't use the Matrix, it's so cliche.

So I went home today and watched a bunch of movies. I've decided on one fight scene from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The one where they're in the courtyard, and it's the first time the girl and the woman are battling, and they're running up walls and flying over roofs, and so on, and so forth.

I'm still looking for another scene, though. I watched Ninja Turtles, not really anything outstanding there. There were a couple things in the Futurama series I might be able to use. Can anyone think of anything in either the Cowboy Bebop movie or first 5 episodes(that's all I have). Oh, I also have an Inuyasha DVD too, but I'm sure I can think of something better. I was gonna do something from Kill Bill 2, but it's too bloody for school, I think.

TIGRESS' MOVIE THOUGHTS
Well, tonight I saw Troy. My main conclusion is:

While the battle scenes are well done, everything in between is slow, long, and crap.

Well, maybe not crap, per say. But it was a good three hours that probably could have been shortened down by one. And I hate to say it, but Orlando's acting was seriously lacking.

The Best:
Peter O'Toole(What more needs to be said?)
Brad Pitt(acting/body were both great, heh heh)
Eric Banna(I think this is the guy that played Hector. Anyways, he was probably the best of the bunch next to Peter).
Sean Bean(YES! Everyone's favorite dead member of the Fellowship-not counting Gandalf the Grey- was back, this time as Oddysseus. I thought he would only have a mediocre role, but in fact, I enjoyed every time he was on screen, and he delivered a really good preformance)
THE HORSE(it rocked, old school style)

The Worst
All the women's acting
The guy that got a spear through the head
Achilles' Death(you all knew it would happen. Just the incessent talking while it did was too much)
All the hard to spell/pronounce names(but that's not really anyone's fault)

So, if you're looking for an awsome fight movie, or to see it just to see it, you should. However, if you think it has an accurate depiction of the Illiad, LEAVE THE THEATER RIGHT AWAY. That's NOT what you're gonna find in there.

Ok, so you're thinking, "Since when did this chick become a movie critic?" SINCE NOW, BUB. Oh, and that's not all! I've also decided to add...

TIGRESS' TRAILOR CRITIQUE(what upcoming movies look like to me)

Chronicles of Riddick-when the teaser trailor came out, I didn't think much of it. But now, the full length one's out, and it actually looks like a good sci-fi movie, and let's face it, we haven't had a good one in years. Including Starship Troopers.

King Arthur-Also released the final full trailor. I'm still undecided about this one. It looks like some good action scenes, POTC-style(course, we all love Jerry Bruckheimer now) but looks a bit lacking in character. We shall see how this one develops.

Day After Tomorrow-Another apocalypse movie. Made by the Independence Day guy, what do you expect? I think I'll rent this one.

Ocean's 12-Even though it was a teaser trailor, and you didn't see any person, it was still cool for a teaser trailor. And EVERYONE'S back.

Some Morgan Freeman Movie-Cool actor, but I don't understand his movies. This is about some presidentaial candidate conspiricy or something weird...don't ask me.

Catwoman-I just snorted REALLY loud when this came on. Fanboys and girls, be loyal to the actual comic and don't see this piece of trash.

Well, that's about it. I'll hold off on the movie quote, seeing as how I gave you this bundle of info, and cause it's almost 11, and I'm dog-tired. See you guys around.

   Whoo, it's ALMOST Friday.
Yes, since I have 3 hours between now and soccer practice, I shall try to do a site run, because my page has soared back into unpopularity, and once again my hopes of reaching the first page on the popular site list have been shattered.

FMA fans-I have been informed Cartoon Network's got the show now. Starting October, you can check it out. The rest of you should check it out too, even though I've heard Al's dubbing buddy, and it's TERRIBLE, but still. Dark Pheonix has a link to the site here.

Meh, not much is going on in school since it's still AP testing and alot of people are missing classes. We're just watching movies" STYLE="text-decoration: none; border-bottom: medium solid green;" HREF="http://search.targetwords.com/u.search?x=5977|1||||movies|AA1VDw">movies in history, nothing special.

TIGRESS' MOVIE THOUGHTS
A couple things today. One: Anyone else gonna see Troy this weekend? I am. And I heard Orlando Bloom DOESN'T die, so, have no fear, fellow Legolas Lovers. Maybe guys should fear, though.

Two: Funny Dodgeball clip here. For those of you that haven't heard about it, it's a Ben Stiller movie, about professional dodgeball players or something(a comedy, mind you). It looks funnier than Ben Stiller's last movie, but I'm a poor judge of that, since I haven't seen either.

Three: LOADS Spidey 2 pics here. This film looks like it's shaping up to be better than the first one. And DEFINENTLY better than that POS Halle Berry's calling a Catwoman movie. *pukes* Don't waste your money folks. See Shrek 2 or Spidey 2 instead. There ARE alternatives to drugs, kids. Catwoman's not one of them.

TIGRESS' FANTASTICAL MOVIE QUOTE
rock on Niko, again. You're getting better than Beck! Heh heh, do I smell a CHALLANGE?!?!? Ok, enough of the Strong Bad references.

Oh, he was so hot back then. Before the beard.

"There's a ninety-five pound Chinese man with a hundred sixty million dollars behind this door."
"Let's get him out."

Heh heh. Oh, and if you didn't know, the sequel to this movie is coming soon!

Ciao, folks!
