Thanks everyone!

Ok, today in physics, we got assigned a project where we have to take two movie or animated clips where the laws of physics are defined/ignored, and then show them to the class and do all these equations to proove them wrong. The example he showed was Spaceballs, where they go to Ludicrous Speed, and we calculated the force Rick Moraniss would be hitting the fron of the ship with would be about equivalent to dropping a stone block on your head, the length, witdth, and height of a football field.

You get the idea.

So anyways, I can't use the Matrix, it's so cliche.

So I went home today and watched a bunch of movies. I've decided on one fight scene from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. The one where they're in the courtyard, and it's the first time the girl and the woman are battling, and they're running up walls and flying over roofs, and so on, and so forth.

I'm still looking for another scene, though. I watched Ninja Turtles, not really anything outstanding there. There were a couple things in the Futurama series I might be able to use. Can anyone think of anything in either the Cowboy Bebop movie or first 5 episodes(that's all I have). Oh, I also have an Inuyasha DVD too, but I'm sure I can think of something better. I was gonna do something from Kill Bill 2, but it's too bloody for school, I think.

TIGRESS' MOVIE THOUGHTS
Well, tonight I saw Troy. My main conclusion is:

While the battle scenes are well done, everything in between is slow, long, and crap.

Well, maybe not crap, per say. But it was a good three hours that probably could have been shortened down by one. And I hate to say it, but Orlando's acting was seriously lacking.

The Best:
Peter O'Toole(What more needs to be said?)
Brad Pitt(acting/body were both great, heh heh)
Eric Banna(I think this is the guy that played Hector. Anyways, he was probably the best of the bunch next to Peter).
Sean Bean(YES! Everyone's favorite dead member of the Fellowship-not counting Gandalf the Grey- was back, this time as Oddysseus. I thought he would only have a mediocre role, but in fact, I enjoyed every time he was on screen, and he delivered a really good preformance)
THE HORSE(it rocked, old school style)

The Worst
All the women's acting
The guy that got a spear through the head
Achilles' Death(you all knew it would happen. Just the incessent talking while it did was too much)
All the hard to spell/pronounce names(but that's not really anyone's fault)

So, if you're looking for an awsome fight movie, or to see it just to see it, you should. However, if you think it has an accurate depiction of the Illiad, LEAVE THE THEATER RIGHT AWAY. That's NOT what you're gonna find in there.

Ok, so you're thinking, "Since when did this chick become a movie critic?" SINCE NOW, BUB. Oh, and that's not all! I've also decided to add...

TIGRESS' TRAILOR CRITIQUE(what upcoming movies look like to me)

Chronicles of Riddick-when the teaser trailor came out, I didn't think much of it. But now, the full length one's out, and it actually looks like a good sci-fi movie, and let's face it, we haven't had a good one in years. Including Starship Troopers.

King Arthur-Also released the final full trailor. I'm still undecided about this one. It looks like some good action scenes, POTC-style(course, we all love Jerry Bruckheimer now) but looks a bit lacking in character. We shall see how this one develops.

Day After Tomorrow-Another apocalypse movie. Made by the Independence Day guy, what do you expect? I think I'll rent this one.

Ocean's 12-Even though it was a teaser trailor, and you didn't see any person, it was still cool for a teaser trailor. And EVERYONE'S back.

Some Morgan Freeman Movie-Cool actor, but I don't understand his movies. This is about some presidentaial candidate conspiricy or something weird...don't ask me.

Catwoman-I just snorted REALLY loud when this came on. Fanboys and girls, be loyal to the actual comic and don't see this piece of trash.

Well, that's about it. I'll hold off on the movie quote, seeing as how I gave you this bundle of info, and cause it's almost 11, and I'm dog-tired. See you guys around.
