Just a poem I made, tell me if you think it's good
Land Bound
By Lisa Glover

I see, as I look up into the indigo sky,
The birds, free from the force that keeps us down.
They soar, wings outstretched as they fly,
Gleeful with the freedom that they have found.

They have no boundaries,
Riding the thermal winds,
Over the mountains, across the seas,
Staying aloft, light as a pin.

Overhead in the vastness,
The clouds passing by,
Fixed here I detest,
In the cool air, of a gentle breeze, I sigh.

I can not join them,
Far below on the ground I stand.
Ever, my eyes to the world above,
Still, I am restricted to only the land.

Until the winds blow stronger,
No matter how much I plea,
Though I can stand it no longer,
Land bound I will be.
