and i would take it all back if i could, but i won't

listening to: the phrase that pays-the academy is... currently reading: tabloids currently: happy Redmoonchick Responds: ikyuu-nyuu-kon: well i tend to think that some music is respected and most bands are respected by their fans but i think you're right. shadowme: yeah jenny doesn't deserve to have all these things happening to her but neither does steph either. i'm glad you're praying for them. angel zakuro: i hope you get to sleep soon! and yeah they've been dating for like a year and a half now...i think. hey, well i really didn't do much today except i stopped being a chicken and called danny. ha ha yeah after being a huge wimp for a long time i finally got the courage to call him. we talked for a little while almost an half hour. it was nice to talk to him because it felt like we were friends again. i talked to him about him coming back to our school and he said he reads my myo a lot and i'm sure that he does sometimes but i don't know about a lot. XD like i said a good talk except he had some friends over so it was hard to keep/get his attention but i am happy i called him and i hope he ends up back at our school. i was standing outside with my mom and i guess her shoe laces were untied or something because she almost fell and because i was standing by her she suddenly clutched onto me and broke my necklace that my friend taylor bought me grrr i was so mad. so now i have to buy a new chain for it but in the mean time i turned it into a bracelet. okay so i don't want this to be too long so here is the second to the last chapter of murder and lyrics! previously: cassie wanted to talk to jake one more time before he was taken into police custody to see if he was sorry about killing danny but instead of jake being sorry he cruely asks if danny looked afraid when he died. cassie leaves but not before telling jake that he'll get what he deserves. murder and lyrics chapter thirty: fanatic for revenge they kept jake at the local police station for two and a half days. in that short time the whole world had found out that jake walker and lexi hartford had killed danny. they also learned of the harrowing night cassie and josiah had spent in cassie's apartment and the duo were called by every radio, tv, and newspaper to tempt them into talking but neither one did. then after those intense two days jake and lexi were now being moved to seperate maxium security facilaties. the move was being covered by all the local and national tv stations and cassie decided that she would go down and watch jake be transfered. watch him leave the city that he loved but could never afford and the place where his victim had lost his life and been burried. cassie stood out on the large stone steps of the court house where jake and lexi had been taken previous to their moving. cassie stood admist the people that had already gathered on the steps. photographers and tv reporters eager to claim the first shot of jake, security gaurds stood watch at the tops of the steps looking bored and trying to look important. a group of interested bystanders had already begun lining up along the steps filling up all the free space. by the time that lexi and jake would come out of the courthouse the steps would be full saved for a long line of free space that led down the steps and to an awaiting police cruiser. cassie's eyes swept the crowd and she noticed that a lot of them were wearing t-shirts that bore danny's face. they were his fans they had showed up to see that his murder was done away with. cassie looked out at the crowd and it only disturbed her a bit to see danny's smiling face staring at her. as her eyes searched the crowd she stopped as she saw someone she knew standing across from her. it was belinda the young teenaged fan that she and danny had spoken to many times over the internet. it had been awhile since she had seen or talked to the girl and somehow it made her happier to see her here, it reminded her of the past when it was all about the music. cassie noticed that belinda hadn't noticed her. no instead belinda was looking, watching the front doors of the court house vigilantly. her face was blank and her hazel eyes held a look of sheer determination. she was wearing a dark green jacket over her black danny adorned t-shirt and her hands where stuffed into the pockets of said jacket. cassie was about to call out to belinda but in that moment yells could be heard from the top of the stairs. cassie turned her attention to the doors and noticed that they had been opened and that jake and lexi would be coming out in seconds. the photographers and interviewers instantly began crowding the doorway and cassie knew that the two of them had come out to face the public. she couldn't see them but she could hear their names being called and various questions being fired at them. lawyers and police officers pushed through the crowd and dragged jake and lexi along. they broke through the ring of people that surrounded them and cassie could then see them. jake was infront his face stern and angry and his blonde hair covering half of his face. lexi was behind him. her shackled hands up in a vain attempt to conceal her reddened face. it seemed that lexi couldn't stop crying after she had gotten arrested. the criminal duo made their way down the steps followed by the mob of reporters. they were quickly approaching where cassie stood and she found her heart beating faster. screams and yells errupted from the fans who stood across from cassie. they were swearing and cursing jake and lexi. it only made sense though that the fans would be upset. they were saying all the things that cassie wanted to say. cassie glanced to belinda and saw that she was shaking slightly. she was yelling though which was confusing to cassie. she knew that belinda had been one of danny's biggest fans so why wasn't she voicing her outrage at his murderers? she was still watching jake and lexi with that same determined look on her young face. "get back! everyone move out of the way!" the police that escorted jake and lexi said as he grew closer to cassie. instantly she took a few steps back more then willing to further herself from danny's murderers. finally jake and lexi were passing by where cassie and belinda stood. jake hadn't noticed her but lexi had. she turned her tear streaked face to look at her and their eyes bore into eachother. in that moment cassie remembered the night that danny had died and how lexi had killed him with her kiss. rage bubbled up inside of her and she couldn't stop herself before she yelled at the girl. "how could you? you fucking whore! how could you kill him!" she screamed at the girl and the fans who had heard her cheered a bit and lexi herself looked stunned at cassie's outburst. she said nothing but turned away from cassie. now that cassie had brought attention to herself it seemed that jake had noticed her too. he was looking at her as they were dragged along and he smirked at her visible anger. they were close to the police car when suddenly out of nowhere cassie saw a flash of dark green and just as suddenly belinda was standing in front of jake and lexi her body blocking there way. "move kid!" one of the officers said but belinda didn't budge. "i said move" he repeated but again belinda stayed still. "jake walker! you killed danny! you killed the best thing that ever happened to this world!" belinda yelled at jake. jake was taken aback and looked surprised at the younger girl. belinda was shaking again more this time and cassie saw her hand tighten in her pocket. "and now you'll pay!" she yelled and in a flash belinda pulled out a silver hand gun and before the police could stop her she pressed into jake's body, the gun nestled against jake's chest. belinda stared up into jake's bright blue surprised and fearful eyes and without a word or breath she pulled the trigger and the whole world went silent. cassie found herself screaming along with a few others, jake fell to the pure white marble steps a bullet wound to the chest. belinda was shaking hard but she still gripped the gun in her quaking hands. cassie thought that belinda would've shot lexi, who was now in a full on freak out mode but one of the cops had tackled her to the ground. cassie seemed to be frozen as the world moved around her. she could see belinda struggling on the ground as the cop held her down. the gun she had been wielding lay abandoned a few feet away from her, shining in the afternoon sun. lexi was still screaming and crying and cassie noticed that her face and clothes were speckled in jake's blood. cassie looked down at herself to see that a few crimson spots had landed on her as well. the other officer was rushing her to the police car while radioing for an ambulance. this was all distracting but cassie was focused on only one thing. jake. she looked down at him, he was laying crumpled on the white steps. a crimson red stain was pooling on the front of his orange prison jumper and she thought that he had hit his head when he fell because the same color of crimson was pooling beneath his head and soaking up into his blonde locks. when jake had fell his face had turned towards cassie and she knew before any ambulance had arrived that he was dying. she could see in his eyes that same sort of fear that danny had, had when he was dying. it shook her to the core to see him staring at her. to think that if he really was dying that she might be the last thing he ever saw. she thought that maybe if he could hear her she should say something to him but there was nothing. no words would come to her and all she could do was look at him as his life slipped away. it was five minutes until the ambulance arrived and even though they put him on the strecher, his hands still cuffed, cassie knew he was dead. people were running all around her and bumping into her. she watched as the ambulance left her eyes tranfixed on the flashing red lights. she also watched as lexi and belinda were taken away in two seperate cop cars. the words she had said to jake two days ago floated back into her head. "you'll get your punishment jake, you will." and she knew that he had gotten his punishment. jake had gotten what he feared the most, more then jail time. jake had gotten killed. **************************************** what will happen now that jake has been killed? what will happen to lexi and belinda? will danny get avenged? find out next time! ~red~
