some men just wanna watch the world burn

listening to: the dinging of iming people Cassie's Comment Corner: belinda: my life isn't so great. i just happened to have a very epic two and half weeks. jenny: your boobs obviously have it out for me. i didn't scare him! that was one sexy clown but i feel so creepy for thinking that way. insane rascal: yeah, we met all of cobra starship. when did tai have a signing? i like the chizz too. lol the next day we got up super early and packed our bags up and we left and jenny and i tried to put our hair color stuff in but it wasn't working for me and you could barely see it on her. then jenny got upset about something and i thought she was mad at me but she wasn't. we went to mcdonalds and saw a bunch of scene kids there and we assumed they were there for warped tour. who knew the mickey d's would be a scene kid hang out? so then we got dropped off at warped and it was so hot! i put on my shades right away. soon after we got there this cute blonde guy came up to us and asked if we would listen to his band. we did and he asked if we'd buy it but we said no and i did have a convo with him about motion city soundtrack while jenny was listening to his stuff. we got free pink stickers from this person and i stuck it on my leg and the damn thing didn't come off all day. then this other cute guy came up and asked if we'd listen to them and we said we would so we did and jenny really liked them so she bought their cd and that guy complimented my fall out boy shirt. we got hit up again as we waited in the mob of people to be let in. this band from new zealand asked us to buy their cd for 10 bucks and we'd get free water all day but we didn't do it. little did we know that wouldn't be the last time we heard from that band. but yeah warped is like a scene lovers dream because there are so many good looking guys everywhere and later in the day they get hot and shirtless and if you get into a mosh you can molest them with no repercussions. mayday parade started playing before we even got into the show and lucky for jenny and i the guards didn't even spot our water bottles as they checked our bags. we raced on over to mayday parade and we got on the side and could see really, really well. their set was cool and jenny was taking pictures. i never knew how hot they were till now and there getting pretty popular which is pissing a few people off. after their set jenny and i bought a schedule for two bucks. (more like i prodded her into buying one sorry bby!) so we checked the schedule and noticed that all time low was missing. we thought someone made a mistake so we just went along on our merry ways. we got free stuff and got ambushed by another band guy shirtless and on a scooter and we liked him but we didn't buy his stuff but he gave us high fives anyway. then we found the merch booth and we talked to the hot the academy is merch guy. he was nice too so that's a plus. i bought a black academy is shirt and it must've been the most popular one cause i saw a lot of people wearing it. jenny ended up buying one too. then we went to the cobra starship booth and i bought a shirt and i saw a little sign that said if you tip them they'd give you a sweet gift. so i asked the guy and he said yeah so i gave him a buck and he gave me a guilty pleasure bracelet. jenny tiped and got one too. so then i picked up a green warped tour t shirt that had all the dates on it and i also bought an all time low shirt later on in the day. jenny bought a cobra shirt (different from mine) and a mayday parade shirt and she bought a the cab shirt. i happened to want this shirt too but she bought the last one in our size. lol so then we went to watch we the kings and we got there early but there was still a lot of people. we could see the front pretty well though. so their set starts and into one of their songs people started moshing and somehow i got caught in it so i was getting hit from both sides and didn't do much except hold my bag and pray that i didn't fall down. i did get pushed further to the front so i could see them better. i feel bad for the guy infront of me because i kept hitting his butt. then we went to get in line for the cobra starship signing. we decided to get in line early and there wasn't that many people there. so we got in line and this blonde girl complimented my shirt so we started talking to her and her name was ashley but she told us to call her brendie because that was her middle name. so we made line buddies with her. this guy came by and randomly stamped my arm with this warped tour stamp because you need it to see the band but he gave no warning just stamped my arm and scared me. the damn spot still won't come off. mostly she and i talked because her friend didn't talk at all and jenny got hot and irritated and sat down. she brought a can of cashew nuts for alex and she was nice cause she gave jenny and i the rest of her water. around this time jenny and i bought got hit up by that damn new zealand band again and we just started telling them we didn't have any money. but this cute guy from a band came up to me and he was definitly flirting and i told him i spent all my cash on merch and he was like "i don't blame you, you did the right thing." and he told me to add them on myspace and to chat with him on there. i liked him. so cobra starship ended up being late and we ended up waiting in line for an hour and a half. but then they showed up and it was still a while before things got going. we could see gabe though because he was standing. jenny was taking photos of him. so the line moved quickly and i got my shirt out and got up to alex fist. he's so cute and adorable and friendly he made me feel so welcomed. i had to tell him how to spell my name though. then came nate and i liked nate, he was my favorite but not anymore because he was so standoffish. he didn't say anything to me at all, not even a hi or anything and it was fucking awkward because i got stuck in front of him for like half a minute. vicky-t got confused and thought she already signed my shirt so she skipped me i guess and ryland was pulling on it because it was stuck under jenny's bag and his face was so funny as he was doing it. i like ryland. then came gabe and i was so super nervous because i mean it's gabe saporta but he was nice and i gave him the bracelet i made him. he got all super happy like i could see it was a genuine surprise to him and he put it on right away and gave me a hug and was like "what's your name?" "cassie" "well, cassie thanks for the bracelet and thanks for buying our shirt." "you're welcome." i think he might've said more but i can't remember anymore. so jenny got her stuff signed and then we said bye to brendie and we headed to find a place to sit because our feet were killing us. we ended up sitting on a curb and we pulled out some food we brought along and we were eating. two people asked to use jenny's cell phone and i suggested we start charging them. and i'm pretty sure the lead singer of the band ludo marched by us leading a parade. we ate and baked in the sun and then we decided to leave because cobra was playing soon so we found a bathroom and filled up our water bottles and went to find the main stage. when we got there there was barley anyone waiting for cobra so we had near front positions but then more people started to crowd around and i started feeling worse and worse, like i couldn't breath. i thought i was gonna pass out or throw up so i got out of the mosh and i felt bad because jenny followed me so we were farther back but we could still see them good. i noticed that gabe was wearing the bracelet i made him so i was thrilled about that. cobra kicked ass live! william beckett came out as did sisky for the song snakes on a plane. it was awesome. then the academy is played and i still didn't feel well and we could barely see them so i ended up sitting down next to this barricade and people were walking all around me and i had butts in my faces and i swear to god that someone farted. it was gross. i got up during their last song and a storm looked like it was gonna happen. william was all like "there's a storm a coming!" and jenny screamed: "run william beckett run!" lol it was hilarious. after that set we went back to the bathrooms and refilled our bottles and then we sat down on the cement floor next to the men's bathroom and ate and chilled because our feet hurt so badly. this guy and girl practically did it infront of us and we chatted up a security guard. we didn't have any band we wanted to see until seven thirty at night so we went to the amphitheather where bands were playing just to have a cool place to sit. we got there and screamo bands were playing. it was fun to watch the kids in the mosh and we hung there for a while like an hour and a half. we left soon after to go and see say anything play. i only know i couple of their songs but they were really good and they did an encore. then gym class heroes played and they were the last set of the day and not a lot of people knew their songs but jenny and i were into it. jenny got hugs from a gay guy and travis made a pinkie swear with the audience and made a moving speech. we left after that and i realized that my whole fucking face was sunburned especially my forehead. and jenny and i couldn't walk properly for awhile and we were sore and sweaty but i honestly wouldn't trade it for anything. i had so much fun. warped is kinda like an rite of passage or an endurance test. either you make it or you don't. xoxo cassie (i know that was long so thanks whoever read it all)
