I support Head for Change.
Hello. Welcome to my myOtaku blog. Most know me as Retro, but a few of you might recognize the name MIRTH.
I'm a simple girl. I like webdesign, anime, videogames, writing, painting, fashion and tennis. I'm going to graduate high school in a couple of years, which I am so stoked about! I want to move to a big city somewhere afterwards, get a job editing magazines, write a book somewhere along the line, and possibly do some book reviews after I've finished. I've got so much planned for my life. Guess that means I'll be pretty busy!
I will not be friends with you unless we have things in common. I'm not going to be buddies with anyone that I don't plan on really having conversations with. That's what affiliates are for, and if you want to associate yourself with me by those means, please do so on my personal site. If I do request or accept a request to be your friend, it's sincere. I love my online friends as much as my personal friends.
Add me to your quilt (please sign my guestbook if you do):

The Smashing Pumpkins
I've noticed a lot of people ranting about how they suck/stink/etc. Have you no taste?! Billy Corgan is a master of vocal delivery in every aspect of the title, and his lyricism is excellent. When the Smashing Pumpkins were nothing but a garage band playing in clubs, they made do with a drum machine, and still succeeded to be the amazing band that they are today (the percussion has evolved quite a bit). The band is simultaneosly unique and traditional, including an assortment of very talented musicians. They've won more Grammy awards than I care to count, although I must say that their reunion hasn't been so much of a success. But post-breakup, the Pumpkins were inhumanly fantastic. Just give them a little time to rework their surroundings and audience -- they'll blow you away.

Anthropological Answer
I was visiting the forums today, when I discovered a thread about physical attraction between sexes. Why do most men prefer blonds?
Supposedly, there is a perfectly scientific explanation for this -- there always is, isn't there? Anthropologists claim to have the answer to your question; men tend to be more physically attracted to blond women due to primal "mating" instincts. Younger women are more capable of bearing and taking care of children (though not financially, these days, of course). Blond hair usually makes a gradual transition to brown as girls get older, so, subconscously, guys find allure in golden haired women because of their greater ability to bear children.
So, in essence, blonds may or may not have more fun, but they still give birth to more children.
