0070: And I don't care what set of wheels I steal to get there.
So, I have less reason to worry about my grades, as I got my midterm results back and I pwned all of them but Civics.

I might fail Civics, seriously. She said that she doesn't fail people, but I'm pretty sure I'm F material in the class, having only turned in two homeworks assignments and neglecting to turn in a project.

I personally don't care about the F itself, if I so have one. I'm more worried about what my parents will do to me if it's anything below a C.

Other than that, life has been alright. Most of my previous issues have been squared away, the girl drama still has some weirdness to deal with.

Drew of Circle Takes the Square still has not gotten back to me about him printing me a guilotine poster. :( If I end up not getting the poster I'll be spending the money on a hoodie of theirs with the same image. My Bloodjinn hoodie got misplaced, I really think mom took it and hid it somewhere... She hates needles, lol.

I got Battlefield 1942 today for $5, I'm proud of my l33t shopping skillz. I've played through the first level so far and I plan on going through the next few after running a few errands. When I feel I'm ready, I'll be playing online under the moniker RiflesAtRecess, how original. More games need to allow commas in usernames so I can use Goodbye, Face.


Anyways, I uploaded some music for you all, just two songs for now. :)

Guys, I'm sorry about ignoring this place for a while. I've been through a lot of drama lately that I don't want to go into here. Those of you who talk to me often know at least some of what's been going on, those of you who don't... it's just better that you don't.

I'm done talking about it and I want to move on.

Aside from a horrible week, I had an amazing weekend that cheered me up greatly. I'm happy again, and I've come out of everything stronger. I had a lot of support from some of you, and for those of you who were there for me at all that week, I want to thank you guys. If there is anything I can do to repay the few of you (you hopefully know who you are), please let me know. It would make me feel happy to reciprocate the feeling back.

I did get to see V for Vendetta. If you haven't seen it yet, stop fucking reading this entry. Go watch it right now. You won't be dissappointed. That movie amazed me, honestly.

And I plan on updating here regularly again. I like this place, and I want to stick around for you guys.

I just have nothing I want to say. I might start up reviewing things again.

0062: It's funny, these people, they go to sleep. They think everything's fine, everything's good...
And then they wake up the next day and they're on fire!


Last night's show, with the exception of one band, was incredible.

Here's the schedule:

Stage 1-

With These Hands 6:00-6:30
Tell Them I Died 7:00-7:30
The Last Regard 8:00-8:30

A few things got switched around majorly, but that was the schedule posted by Hunter on his MySpace.

With These Hands was pretty good, I had heard of the name before. If anything, they were too metal for me, it seemed like all their songs ran together with the same beat. Know what I mean?

XTakeDownX sucked ass. They were probably the worst band I've ever seen live. We're talking about a either a midget or a middle schooler as the vocalist. Either way, he was just hitting puberty. He blamed his suckiness on his cold, but that didn't even matter, the music that completely drowned his vocals out was horrible too, I could do a better job on either guitar or drums. Sucked.

Tell Them I Died, or whoever they were, must have been pretty damn unmemorable. Then again, there was a band that played in between Dead Thoughts Memory and Red With Vengeance, so that might be them. I have no idea. I didn't like the band that played in that spot though, whoever it was.

We Were Gentlemen was the best band there. Holy crap. I have their demo, and can send songs to yous guys over IM if you show wish. Their cd sucks compared to their live show, of course.

Next was The Last Regard, who was daaaamn good. I filmed their whole performance and my friend Martin, the guitarist of the band, wants the videos on a disc. I rule.

After that Was Dead Thoughts Memory. I saw through the crappy microphone problems and saw a great band. Think Prayer For Cleansing meets Every Time I Die. Or... don't, lol. Whatever, they were very cool. Brad got their cd, so I'll have it soon, I'm sure.

Aorta Consumption was Hunter's band. They were missing a guitarist, but they were pretty good. They had a short performance though, like three songs. Three. Brutal. Songs.

Next was, well, that band... I guess it's Tell Them I Died, I have no idea. They weren't my style.

Lastly, Red With Vengeance. I've seen these guys a lot. Brad's wearing their shirt in the pics in my last picture post. They aren't all that good, but they're heavy as hell. "As subtle as a sledgehammer to the face." If you will. They're nice guys, even my mom likes them.

I have more pictures and TWO HOURS OF VIDEO up for requests. Videos include a pretty nasty fight that ended with a guy unconcious on the floor having convulsions. I'd rather not share that one, but anything else is up for grabs.

I think that the best part of the show was the half hour we spent outside around Brad's car, lol. Neil layed on top of the car when we were waiting for Elisa and Brad to come back. It was awesome. Then Neil hopped off and started humping me in front of some 200 people, I was running for my life trying to get him off of me. Then Neil started dancing, which I got part of it on a video. And then we went home. It ruled.
