0045: More adventures...
Yeah, comic's been a standstill due to exams being on the horizon. Lots of fun.

Some interesting things happened lately. One of them being that I met another one of the sweetest girls in the world, lol. Her name's Allison, she's really quiet, really talented in art, and she's a gamer. Not bad, not bad. I've really wanted to meet her since sixth grade, but it's always been small talk. Let me reinforce the fact that Allison is really quiet, she speaks only when spoken to and seems to say nothing beyond one sentence. Anyways, I finally got her to open up to me, besides her sister and her boyfriend, I think I'm the only friend she has. I'm glad I can be there for her. ^^

Yesterday, me and Brad hung out. We jammed for a bit, I kicked his ass in Tekken 5, then we went to see Hostel. Hostel was a little on the bad side. It was cool, but it just wasn't a fun experience. I kind of want my two hours back, lol.

As we were coming home, Greg and Elisa (that's Alyssa, I didn't know how she spelled it) called Brad's cell, Brad told me to answer it. We talked on the way home and they ended up coming by for a few hours. Greg hasn't been to my house before, and I've only met him a few times around school. Basically, he's a magician, and jazz musician, and a DJ. He's quite da' man. We really hit it off for the two hours he was here. He's coming by next weekend, I think he's going to bring some of his instruments over and we're going to play. He might also bring over a few friends and do some magic tricks. Who knows?

So yeah, I liked this week a lot.

Next Wednesday, my English class with Mrs. Nix is revisting our past. We're to bring in a baby blanket, a pillow, old movies, old snacks, etc. It's supposed to be a break, but it sounds more like torture, at least R'eh'chel, Allison, and Zach will be there, lol.

I apparently have a day off before the next semster, party anyone?

0044: The same New Year's post as everyone else. Just with more nudity.
Sorry about not having my camera right now, I'll have to save the pictures for another time.

Some cool things broke the suckiness of the rest of this week recently. The first was the KILLWHITNEYDEAD/Glass Casket show at Ziggy's. Wow. I got to meet the singer of KWD and got pictures taken with him. The photographer was the model for the So Pretty So Plastic cd. Sorry, but I didn't get any pictures of her. :( The show was amazing, even with scores of technical difficulties and Advent's drummer and guitarist not showing up.

The next day, Joel (Zidane11 on OB) stopped by and spent the night into this morning. It was definitely a good time and I miss him already. We got really far on Shadow of the Colossus. We're up to the fourteenth colossus. I have pictures of him if you care, lol.

So now I'm here. I made a few New Years images for certain people. I hope the people that I missed today will be online tomorrow.

School starts again this Monday. Want to pull the trigger?

Oh, and I put a new intro image up because I hated the old one. It's a recolored scan of my "Stylish Nihilists" cd from Christiansen. I added text and the blood brushes (as always, lol).

My resolution for this next year is to just continue making friends and losing weight. I've solidified some great friendships this year and I want to keep them. I had a few inner problems that I've had to deal with. But having these certain people around has definitely helped me a lot. I wish to give a shoutout to Brad, Andrew, Will, Ogi, Nick, Michaela, Shay, Ashley, Rudy, Shane, Joel, Rachel, Kit, Katie, Carolina, Adrianna, Melissa, Erin, Kisha, Phil, Gabriela, Alex, Tony, Gavin, and Marshall James J. James for all of the shit they've probably put up with whilst being in my presence. I love/respect you all, depending on who you are, lol.

See you fuckers next year.

0043: Happy Non-denominational Christmas, Folks!
It's 12:53, so I obviously haven't opened my presents yet. I'm staying up so I can wake up to the presents, instead of waiting around for medicated momma to wake up.

On Wednesday I was supposed to have a Soul Calibur III tournament at my house, but none of the really good players showed up. I basically owned everyone until we got bored and two people left and my parents came back with Tekken 5 after searching all day. I love them. Me and Brad also rented Samurai Warriors and Capcom Fighting Evolution with that gift card Andr00 gave me.

Thursday was a day full of just constant work. I helped dad clean out the garage, and then in the evening through til like 3 in the morning I worked on random things for The Guardian.

Friday was a chill day, I got to play my new games and work on alternate sketches for the dragon and the boy. Other than that, it was a largely uneventful day. I need more of those.

Today, or yesterday, or something... I basiscally did a mix of lounging around and working around the house, I took a break from the comic.

Tomorrow, I open presents, hooray! Also, me and Kisha are working on our Fell Took sign-ups in the evening.

Carolina and I cancelled our plans for this weekend because it never occurred to either of us that this weekend = Christmas, lol.

Other than that, I have no idea what's going on. I just love that feeling.

Good luck to Brad and Andr00, as Brad is leavign on a long trip to see his mom, and Andr00 is having surgery. I hope everything works out well for the two of you.

Later days.

0041: I'm back! Where's the fucking fan fare?
Pictures tomorrow.

Thursday and Friday were snow days, so now we have to go to school tomorrow, but our vacation is cut short a day at the end. Because we have school Wednesday, I had to get home early, before the break. I can't miss more than three days or I won't be able to exempt that English exam looming over my head.

Today sucked.

Today really sucked. In the time that I was gone... one day... we had three tests, two of which I made up today. Also, person #1 moved into the seat next to me, and her girlfriend #2 absolutely has to sit next to her. So I was out of a seat for a little while. #3 got up to the left of my original seat, so I sat down. She comes back out of the line and bitches at me about how it's her seat, blah blah blah... whatever. Didn't ask me to moved, just went on about how I was in her seat, and she's not in a good mood today, and she has her period today... whatever. I was too busy wondering wether or not the floor was still warm in the place I was sitting for twenty minutes. #1 got tired of us bickering back and forth and started screaming at me about how I need to get out of #3's seat because she was there first. I told her as polite as I could that she had taken my seat, which were the best words I could find at the time. She further screamed that she did not technically take my seat, but rather, she had saved it for the love of her five minutes, #2. I lost my cool and joined in the screamfest, saying that if #2 really mattered to her, and that if I was such a good friend to her, that she would move somewhere else to be with her babe for the remaining five fucking minutes of lunch. In the process of my raising the big stink, I attracted the prinicipal, who made me flip my 'obscene' Monty Python shirt that said "I fart in your general direction."

I hate numbers.

So now I'm at ends with pretty much everyone at my table. I'm contemplating moving somewhere else.

I get home, and my parents are asleep, they wake up, coffee, blah blah blah... Argue, fight, get Kevin involved for no reason than to make his life a living hell. I spent an hour arguing with my parent about something so necessary that I can't even remember what it was. I ran outside for a while. Came back and found the News 2 truck outside our house and one of the reporters talking to a camera. My house was on tv. In the background, you can see mom looking like a fool waving at the camera, dad taking out the trash, and me getting yelled at again, then me walking away from the house again, I couldn't take it anymore.

I came back to get online, which is how I eventually get here. It seems like everyone has an obligation today. They're all busy, basically saying "no Kevin, you're stupid, go play with traffic." I feel like shit. I hope tomorrow's better.

I'm not explaining my trip until tomorrow, it goes better with pictures.

0040: RiflesAtPennsylvania 2: The Secondcoming.
I'm typing this after saying goodbye to Kisha. So if I don't see her online tomorrow, I can only hope that she reads this. Love ya lots.

I'll miss you all. I think I'm leaving somewhere between 9 and 12 this morning and arriving at Aunt Suzie's at 10PM. Nothing's set in stone yet.

I got myself a nice carrying case and accessory kit for the DS, as well as a new cd player. Needless to say, I'm all out of birthday money. I'll at least have a really fun trip there and back.

[parts deleted]

I should repeat that I will miss all of you for the few days I'm gone. It's so weird being attached to my computer now, lol. I went without it for almost an entire year, now I feel like I can't live without it. It's not the computer itself, but it's more like I can't live without its connection to some of the finest people in the world. Any time away from you peeps feels like an eternity. Just thought you'd like to know.

See you before Christmas Eve.

0039: Gratification reply.
Thank you, Andr88. As for the rest of you, I fucking hate you all, except Kisha and Phil who made me feel better through AIM.

And let me pull this out of my back pocket fer ya, Andr88:

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
I've had that for a while. Been waiting for a good use for it.

And I'm done with the FMA disc, you'll be getting it tomorrow, lol. Sorry I kept forgetting.

I have been mostly gone for the week, but I wasn't even home for most of Thursday through Saturday, and Sunday was another movie and Soul Calibur 3 day with the usual group.

So now I'm back.

I'm going on a trip this weekend through some of the next week, back in time for at least Christmas Eve, but probably well before that. I'm heading out to PA again to see family and exchange gifts.

When I come back, Carolina is coming by for a few days to do guest art for The Guardian #2, while I work on #1. I finally talked to Frank today, and he is ecstatic about me remaking Space Squad, he wants to be a part of it, so he's probably going to be doing some art on there as well.

In other news... I got my DS on Friday, the Mario Kart bundle. I also got Polarium because it was $10. There's a dead pixel at the top left corner of my touch screen, anyone know how to get rid of it?

I'm very happy with my purchase so far, and I hope to get one more game before my trip, as well as either a car adapter or a spare battery. Also if anyone has FF Tactics Advance that they would be willing to sell cheap and ship fast, please let me know.

Other than that, it's been a good buncha days.

0037: Current events.
My parents are trying to quit smoking. Dad has been doing a lot better than mom, but she's making good progress as well. I'm really proud of them, but this has kind of started some sort of chain reaction in them.

My parents have become more and more argumentative and grumpy in the week that they've been weening off of cigarettes. I feel like I can't comfortably walk up and discuss something right now. My dad almost got us killed on the road, not once, but twice today. He's been trying to scare other drivers. I told him that if we make it home in one piece, I'd let him crash and stuff in BurnOut. He declined, and continued driving recklessly, and then mom tried to take over the wheel like she's some movie heroine or something. No thanks, I was seriously worried for my life.

So I'm not going on any more car rides with my parents until things calm down. I've been trying to get into comics again, they make me feel happy. I'm also hoping to be inspired somehow for my upcoming webcomic, The Guardian. I've been buying up some new Batman and Superman comics, a few collections of things that looked cool, and I went on the net today to order some Amano comics, X-Force, and X-Statix. All of these are being paid for with my former DS money (I'm getting it for Christmas now, instead of the PSP). Hopefully, I'll have a decent pile of comics thumb through while me and partners in crime, Carolina Maderas and Frank Wu help me out with Space Squad X, which I'm working on first, since the story is already there. Wow, that sentence had a different direction than I hoped for. I meant to include that I'd be doing this over Winter Break.

I actually still haven't been able to track Frank down to ask him if he doesn't mind me using his old comic as the basis of this new-fangled Space Squad X. I'm sure he won't mind, since I've actually had his version longer than he has, and I did about 1/3 of the work on it.

Tony, I have concept art for The Guardian if you want to see it. IM me next time you're around, or at least make proper use of away messages so I can actually tell when you're there, lol.

Now for more of my life:

Yesterday I wasn't on the net, for the first time in like forever, lol. When I signed on earlier this evening, everything looked foreign, it felt like I hadn't been online in months, lol. How pitiful. But the break was nice. I went comic shopping and then got called to come to a birthday party at the last minute. I really need to take breaks more often, I tend to go on good adventures while doing so, lol.

Tomorrow is the day that a lot of my friends take the SAT's, meaning that my original plans to see Aeon Flux with a large group of friends is officially fucked. It looks like it's just going to be me, Brad and his girlfriend, once again. Then again, I never know. Carolina is supposed to call me late in the day tomorrow to tell me whether or not she can make it to the movie. The prblem is, her father doesn't let her out late, so if she was to come with us, we'd have to bump up to the 7:40 showing.

Sunday is a day of rest for me. Definitely an internet and Final Fantasy day, lol. At some point on Sunday, I'm going to brush up on my painting. Haha, I made a pun. For extra credit in English, which I need, I can create a new cover to The Color Purple. Mrs. Nix extended the deadline to Minday because no one turned one in... at all. So I'll be the first, I guess. I plan on having the trunk (the one with Nettie's letters in it) slightly open with puple flowers sort of spilling out of it.

This looks like a long entry. Make it worth my while, lol. I'm not much of a comment whore or anything, but some gratification is nice every once in a while. Let me know if you read my myO, lol. It'll make me happy.

As for my parents, I really need to establish a curse word jar. Be a good way to raise money for the Art Club, haha.

0036: Words cannot describe this show, but I'll still try my best here.
Four combined hours of drving and four hours of live music made up one of the best nights of my life, even though I almost died from it, lol.

Tremont Music Hall is like a giant two room garage that can hold about 1500 people. One room is the bar, pool tables, and band merchandise; while the other room is the stage, pit, and bleachers.

I was with Brad and Alyssa right up the front. They managed to stay in one spot, while I got pulled back behind one of the pits. As A Life Once Lost was finishing up, I pushed through a few rows of people and handed Alyssa my camera to put in her purse, there was no way I could take pictures.

Madball sucked, stupid Nu-Metal. They seemed to have a large crowd of people who liked them, but there were just as manypeople there who thought they sucked. I got pushed way over to the left side and completely lost where Brad and Alyssa were.

Norma Jean was simply the best performance I have ever... ever... ever seen. They played exactly what I felt that they should play, except for a personal favorite of mine. The only thing I hated was the fact that the entire pit turned into an ocean of people. All 1500 people were packed into one room and were pushing eachother back and forth and up and down. There was eventually some unevenness in the "waves" and people started falling down, I got knocked down by one of these people and fell into the mosh pit. My head got stepped on and whoever stepped on me got tripped and fell on top of me, and then it just became a pile of people tripping on eachother. Still, I wouldn't have it any other way.

As I Lay Dying was last. They put on an amazing set. I thought it was weird how they sounded almost exactly like their cd's. In the middle of the set, the drummer did a three minute drum solo. It was insane. At least the crowd was nice and worn out after Norma Jean, it was just a lot of head banging and rock on gestures.

I bought myself a Norma Jean shirt and A Life Once Lost's cd. Both are really cool. I was really considering getting my mom a Norma Jean bag/purse thing. I didn't.

If this tour is coming in your area (check As I Lay Dying's website) please do yourself a favor and go see it. It is simply one of the best experiences I've had.

I actually missed school today, I felt like shit when I woke up and I still feel really week. My legs are really sore and I have to lean on the walls to get around the house, so my parents let me stay home today. I can't go to anymore concerts on school nights now, but it was worth it. It's not like there's going to be another show that good on a school night in another year and a half, so yeah...

Best show ever.
