Chapter - o1 - FMA Fanfic ..........................................//.
Mahh... First fanfic ever, it's unedited to expect some spelling/grammer errors xD
Enjoy...
-----
It was dark; the room was in total darkness. The windows where boarded up and the door was locked from outside. Only a single flicker from an old candle was all that was light in that room. What light was there, illuminated small details of a figure sitting, curled up in a ball on the floor. Her face was hidden; her body was short, and sort of plump. She wore dirty rags, and a hood concealed her face.
“What wouldn’t I give— to see the light,” her voice softly said into the darkness.
Suddenly, a kafuffle could be heard from outside the door. A scream startled the girl, she whispered,
“Auntie?”
Another scream echoed as something was slammed against the locked door. The girl just sat there, not sure of what was going on. Something scratched the door, the sound was irritating. The scratching was infuriating to the girl’s ears and made them hurt. She wished she could put her hands over her ears to stifle the noise. She raised her arms and then realized that most of her arms were missing. She sighed,
“You’d think I’d get used to not having arms,”
Suddenly, everything went silent and the sound of someone fiddling with the locks ricocheted around the room.
“What the—?” she gasped.
The door swung open furiously as a man bolted into the room. Blood was splattered over his face and clothes. The tears running down his face meant that something terrible has happened.
“Uncle?”
“Geno—!” He screamed as something pierced through his back.
He screamed with pain as the pointed object exited out through his chest. Blood spattered over the girl’s face. She pushed herself back to the wall with her feet, upsetting the candle. Her eyes were widened with horror as she watched her uncle be thrown across the room; she completely forgot about the fallen candle. As he was thrown, the object tore out from his skin. With a ‘thud’ he hit the wall and slid down it. Blood was smeared on the wall where he had touched it.
“Uncle?!!”
She gazed at his lifeless body and then glanced back to where he was thrown to find three dark figures standing in the doorway. One a woman and the other two appeared to be male. What appeared to be a long extended fingernail came from the woman dripped with blood. It began to shrink as the woman walked closer towards the girl. The candle’s flame climbed onto the carpet and it spiraled up the near by chair and curtains. As the woman came closer, more of her was revealed. Her entire attire was black, as was her hair. Her eyes were narrow, peered daunting and mischievous. By now, her fingernail had reached its normal length as the girl realized that the woman’s hands were clothed.
The girl whimpered as the woman knelt in front of her,
“Tell me, what is your name?”
The woman spoke softly, and the girl replied,
“—Anna, Anna Bell,”
The woman sighed; she lifted her hands and pulled the hood down from the girl’s face. It revealed a young woman’s face, half of her head was bald and the other was covered with hair. On the bald side, red scribbles were tattooed. The woman put one of her hands on the girl’s head and turned it to get a better look at the tattoo. She discovered that amongst the scribbles, an ourorboros was tattooed.
The woman smiled and asked, “Tell me your real name,”
The girl whimpered, for the fear of what the woman may do to her,
“I-I— I don’t know!”
One of the men in the doorway sighed, “It’s a dud! She doesn’t even know what she is,”
“Yes, but still— A homunculus is a homunculus; she could be useful to us,” the woman replied, examining the girl.
She pulled apart the ragged cloak that the girl wore to reveal that the girl had no arms,
“Her arms were amputated,” the woman said aloud.
“See, Lust! A dud, she couldn’t fight herself outta paper bag if her life depended on it,” the man exclaimed.
“I suppose you are right…” the woman sighed.
“Lust! Does this mean I get to eat her!?” the other man exclaimed.
“No, let’s go. The flames will take care of her,” Lust replied, standing back up and turned to walk away.
The three disappeared out of the door, talking of finding another homunculus that will help them find a strange red stone. The girl listened to the three, learning that their names were ‘Lust’, ‘Envy’ and ‘Gluttony’.
“Lust..? Homunculus?” the girl spoke, as she struggled to her knees.
What was left of her arms began to glow, and they began to grow, and transform. Her arms now looked just like the woman’s arms. Before the house collapsed, a dark figure darted out of it, running. It was the girl, running as fast as she could down the road. Her new arms and cloak flapped lifeless in the wind.
