sweefundunger!!
WOW!! omg, it's been like two weeks since i last updated!! sorry, i've been so busy here in spain...ANYWHO. after i got here, i stayed with my friend natalia (who's taiwanese btw, like me) for a while. she and her family took my mom and me (yes, my mom came and stayed for my first few days...now she's at some work thing in germany and will be there till november-ish) to toledo, which is like an old town...and the prado (ART!!! <3333333333333 that was fun ^^) and just walking around downtown madrid. then natalia and i met up with one of our friends from alicante...and we had lunch at mcdonald's (cuz it was cheap lol) and then went shopping in the puerta del sol. XD and our friend's a guy. poor esteban had to deal with us two girls in a street of accessory and clothing shops. XD

then i met a couple of nati's guy-friends....and some more guy-friends last thursday, when the five of us went to an amusement park in madrid. OH MY FREAKING GOD that was hella fun. i can't do any spinny rides cuz i get dizzy way too easily, but we went on this one roller coaster that STARTED by going STRAIGHT UP (literally 90 degrees) for a while, then slowly turned us around and then ZOOM! you fall...and go back up....and fall again (the 2nd one was REALLY scary...you know that weightless feeling? yeah that)...and spin around and stuff like that. AAAAAAHHH i loved that roller coaster!! we went on it twice!! we also went on another one twice...it went upside-down and everything. but that one was a bit spinny and i kinda felt dizzy after that. XD and i think we did the bumper cars like...7 times at least. yes, 7 times. bumper cars are love.

yes. and then that night i moved to my host family's house. the only reason i'm not staying w/ natalia is because she and her family are taiwanese...and i want to get the full cultural experience while i'm here, you know? plus it's much better for my spanish, cuz it's already improved a lot just by being around it 24/7. with natalia it's almost entirely strictly chinese. =p but anyways. my host family took me to a lil house they have in a tiny town right next to portugal. they have some relatives that live just across the border, and they have a whole farm and everything. we got to eat home-made bread, home-made cheese..they even had home-made WINE. but of course i couldn't have it. =p but anyways....there was an old castle/fortress there too, and i got to explore that. yup. ^^

anywho. school starts friday. HOLYCRAPI'MSCARED. although it's not really school school. it's just buying our books and stuff...classes start monday. still, HOLYCRAPI'MSCARED. it's really the only thing i'm nervous about....god my grades are going to suck. and i'm going to be hogging the teachers, who are going to be so exasperated with me and my horrible accent and inability to understand them (gaaaah talk slower!!). oyoyoyoyoyoy....it's a good thing my host family's really patient with me. >_>

anyways. i have a MONSTER horde of art to upload...but i don't know if they have a scanner.....oh god if i can't get my hands on a scanner (or at least take a decent picture of my art, which is very nearly impossible) until january..... X________________X
