Wolf's Rain 2 Chapter 1 Escaping the Lab Part 2

As she fell, she couldn't do more than sway past the guards' bullets. Luckily, the guards weren't great shots with even the wind pressure paralyzing the wolf. One shot, though, aimed straight for her heart. She moved as fast as she could and the bullet was blocked by her collar. Only a few feet away from landing on a guard, she stuck her paws down. Her paws dug into the guard's shoulders and then she jumped to another level behing them. The shoulder- aching guard fell to the ground while the others, again, shot useless bullets.
As the wolf kept running, she noticed that the whole base was a mase. Then, she stopped running and jumped up a low wall and then one more higher. She couldn't see everything, but she could see most of the base. At the end of the maze, there was one big wall. If she could get to that, she'd be free. As she ran, more guards tried to follow her. Climbing on the maze's walls was difficult for humans, especially because the leader was also talking on a walkie-talkie. Suddenly, the leader stopped while everybody was shoved into the one infront of them. Three even fell off. The guard leader put the walkie-talkie down while the white wolf watched from above. As she jumped down from the giant wall and almost escaped with ease, an explosion rose from underneath her stomach as the wall exploded.It pushed her into a ball and she landed on her back.She rolled over on her left side, laying in the snow.
