New Randomness!
Yeah, I'm bored. I randomly wish to announce that at this very moment, I have made exactly 300 comments on TheOtaku! Go me and my constructive criticism. =P Of course, that number is bound to change very quickly. So glance over this momentous occasion, then pass it on and forget it ever happened! Bwahaha- I mean... um... Eheh. ^^'' I am also coming up to 300 visits for my site, and 100 votes on my art. (I need 30 more visits and 6 more votes, I think...) So, whenever I get over my current reading-rampage and get into gear, I'll probably do some sort of drawing commemerating these miraculous events. Ha. Anywho...
Just a couple of hours ago, I saw the movie of The Da Vinci Code. My verdict? The reviewers are wrong yet again. I personally liked it. It was quite harsh at times... But still, an excellent movie. The ending was changed quite a bit from the book though. I was really sad at what happens to Silas... (Won't say anything here in case someone doesn't want it spoiled.) But again, excellent. Very well done.
Also, I was given a book today to read, which I finished within a few hours... A short, easy-to-read book called The Holy Man, by Susan Trott. I was wondering what it'd be like before I started reading it... It didn't look that entertaining... But I really liked it. It was inspirational, AND entertaining... It even made me laugh out loud a couple of times. Oh, and it wasn't really religious like I thought it'd be. Wasn't very religious at all, really... Spiritual, yes, but not religious. Good book. And a fun one, at that... ^^
Um, yeah... Those are my rantings for the day... Hope I didn't bore you. Anything else going on...? I'M OUT OF SCHOOL FOR SUMMER VACATION!!! WOOHOOO! What a relief. That'd be why I'm on a reading-rampage. But, on my last day of school, I stole from a teacher... *laughs* Don't worry, I'm not a criminal. ^^'' Whenever he signed a yearbook, he'd glue a picture in there of something he thought represented us and he would write why. I got a deer for being proud, confident, and graceful. ^^'' Anywho, when he left the room for a moment, I went over and snagged one of his pictures, the one of a watermelon, and glued it in HIS yearbook, for being 'cool, fun, and great to have around.' He didn't notice until I was about to leave, and he confused my mom by asking me when I stole the watermelon... It was fun. ^^
Oh, and isn't it strange how summer is always more relaxed, yet so much more chaotic at the same time...? For me, anyway. An interesting paradox. Oh well, it (mostly) keeps me from getting bored... I still need to start watching TV again, though. T.T
So, anywho... I guess I'll go do something now. ^^'' Sorry for not having anything new, besides this post! I will, eventually. I'm considering making a quiz... What do you think? Well, see ya!
EDIT - Wow, this was long. Sorries... ^^''
