Whooo! Party!
Man, Friday night was GREAT! It was my work's Christmas party. Present swapping, Christmas movie trivia (I kick ASS with Nightmare Before Christmas), drunken assistant manager (dude, highly amusing AND disturbing at the same time), bonding with co-workers and such. All good. My gift swap present was a set of caligraphy pen nibs and two bottles of India Ink (black and blue). It rocked! I LOVE Christmas! Man, once most of the people left, the few of us who stayed behind had some interesting moments. I felt like I was stuck in a reality TV show for a while. There's so much drama and unseen rivalries that get aired out when the people who get along are left alone in one place and they can stop being sociable for work's sake. You get to hear all kinds of stories about who did what to who, and when. It was very enlightening. I'm going to be going into work on Monday with a whole new look on things. Of course, that's pretty much what happened at the last work party I went to, but this adds a new dimension. Man, you can learn a WHOLE lot from drunken co-workers. I can't wait for the next party ^_^
-Quote of the Day-
*after discussion about relationships*
Assistant Manager: "To pre-marital sex!"
Other Co-Worker: "Doesn't she have teenaged daughters?"
Me: *laughing* "Oh yeah."
