   Good Day!
Hello! I hope everyone had a good New Year. I did. I hung out with my friend Liz, her boyfirend, and some of his friends at his house. Liz and I played Mario Party 7 and made lewd jokes based on some of the mini game instructions and titles. It's so easy to do, too. You know those game developers are sneaking references into games *hehe* Anyway, at midnight, we all ate crackers for good luck (don't ask me why, apparently it's a tradition in his house). So yeah, fun all around ^_^

I made a New Year's resolution. I've decided that I have to be nicer to people. That means no more round-house kicks to my co-worker's face when we're group bowling T_T (No, I didn't really kick him. I don't remember why I pretended to kick him. He probably said something stupid. Eh.) Anyway, so yeah. I wonder why I'm still working in a customer service type job O.o

Oh, I finished watching the Evangelion series and now I'm through the Death part of the Death & Rebirth OAV. I had to stop half-way due to babysitting. Gir. So I really haven't seen anything new yet, since Death is just a nice giant recap of the series *tear* Why, Kaworu, why!? Sorry, that kid was kind of cool, in a weird, alien way. He's certainly got the levitating thing down pat ^_^ Plus, he seemed like a very sincere "betrayer", if that makes any sense. Anywho, yeah. I also have to say that I didn't hate the ending to the series, but I am glad that the OVAs were made to redo the ending, simply because there was so much information left out in the open. It was just like, "No! I have to know more! What the hell is Rei?! Why was Kaworu so surprised by the angel that was supposed to be Adam?! What REALLY caused the Second Impact?! What the HELL is going on!" But yeah, so I'm glad there's still at least a little more to see. Although, I'm kind of wondering... if there's a Second Impact, shouldn't there have been a First or Primary Impact? Maybe they're counting the extinction of the dinosaurs or something? Hmmm...

*Addition: I can't believe I almost forgot! I got to read volume 18 of Fruits Basket, thanks to good ol' StopTazmo.com. It's fabulous, as always. Hiro and Kisa have gotten so much bigger O.o I know a couple of people have mentioned that they didn't like the way the story has kind of spiraled away from the triad of Tohru, Yuki, and Kyo. I mean, Tohru doesn't even show up until the last chapter of vol 18 and most of the other chapters are about Haru and Rin. But I like the way things are going. All these characters that you formerly only saw through their relationships to Tohru/Yuki/Kyo are getting to develop on their own. It brings a sort of culminating feel to everything, like the end is just around the corner...*
