Some News And A Rant.... Hmmm, Got To Stop Bottling That Anger...
Ah, I had a wonderful day Friday. No work, so I sat around watching movies and doing jigsaw puzzles ^_^ And I saw a little behind the scenes thingy for Pirates of the Carribean 2 *squeal* It actually looks like it won't suck *sigh of relief* I never would have forgiven Disney for ruining that movie. Although I might have forgiven them long enough to buy Howl's Moving Castle, but they don't really get the credit for that one, so it's ok ^_^

Today I'm planning to go see The Chronicles of Narnia with a group of people. The only bad thing is that it's two couples. Bah, when did I become the only single person I know? Not that I'm complaining or anything, it's just kind of annoying to have your friends always attached at the hip to someone else. Everyone comes in pairs now. Why can't I hang out with just them for once! Seriously! I mean, their boyfriends are great guys and everything, but they aren't the best friends I went to high school with. They aren't the ones that I can sit down and have a conversation with and understand the five different levels of meaning and multiple inside jokes that are fit into one sentence. And it's been months since I had one of those conversations *sigh* I guess this means I'll have to get myself a guy. Bah! So much work. I'm too lazy. Plus I have impossibly high standards. I wonder if this is how the crazy cat-ladys get started. Hmmm.... I do like cats ^_^

Oh, I got my R.O.D OAV today. Woohoo. That OAV always makes me laugh. Especially the scene where Yomiko is too busy staring at her book to notice the overturned bus that's skiding down the road *laughs* My friend Keebs thinks that that's an "Android Moment". As in, something I would totally do. Yes, I do tend to get spacey when reading. It's a gift ^_^

-Quotes of the Day-

"'Tell me of this Wizard Howl of yours.'
Sophie's teeth chattered, but she said proudly, 'He's the best wizard in Ingary or anywhere else. If he'd only had time, he would have defeated that djinn. And he's sly and selfish and vain as a peacock and cowardly, and you can't pin him down to anything.'
'Indeed?' asked Abdullah. 'Strange that you should speak so proudly such a list of vices, most loving of ladies.'
'What do you mean, vices?' Sophie asked angrily. 'I was just describing Howl.'"

"He watched the tiny Princess of Tsapfan walk quietly among the exclaiming crowd and gravely put Morgan in Howl's arms.
'Thanks,' said Howl, 'I thought I'd better bring him along where I could keep an eye on him,' he explained to Sophie. 'Sorry if I gave you a fright.' Howl seemed more used to holding babies than Sophie was. He rocked Morgan soothingly and stared at him. Morgan stared, rather balefully, back. 'My word, he's ugly!' Howl said. 'Chip off the old block.'
'Howl!' said Sophie."
-"Castle in the Air" (sequel to "Howl's Moving Castle") by Diana Wynne Jones- (for some reason, it amuses me when people make fun of their own children)
