Freedom!
Woooh! My cousin has finally gone home. I have my room back! Well, technically she was sleeping my sister's room since Erica has a trundle bed, but she spent the rest of the two weeks hang around in my room and following me everywhere. It's cute when your relatives are little. It's a pain in the ass when they're 22. Anyway, so that's the main reason for my extremely spaced posts recently. I've been focusing all my energy on keeping my sanity in the incessant presence of a person who whines, likes really (and I mean really) bad movies, thinks Fruits Basket is boring (I nearly killed her for that one), won't shut-up, and needs attention every five seconds. Gah! Why can't I ever be a a bitch to people so that they'll just leave me the hell alone. Stupid niceness *mutters*
Anyway, in much pleasanter news, I went to my orientation for NIU (the new school I'm transfering to in the fall) on Monday. I learned quite a bit, so I think it's worth the sun and heat induced headache I developed. I really like the campus, all my classes are in the same building (since I already have my associates, all my classes are for my major ^_^), and there's some campus legend about a ghost in the Law library (gotta check that one out *grin*). So yeah, good day.
