Snuggles Pillow *Mutter, Snore, Rumble*
Ah, sorry for the absence. We've been rather busy at work, and I haven't felt like saying much. Plus, my life is rather dull, especially over the summer.
Anywho, just last week I read the first four books in the Earthsea Cycle. Great stuff. Ursula K. LeGuin is like a humanistic Tolkien or Lewis. And the weird thing is, I'd never even heard of her until recently. Shows how much I pay attention ^_^ So yeah, goodness all around. And, if you've only seen the Sci Fi mini-series Earthsea, then you have been deprived of the true feel of the works. Not that the mini-series is all bad, but the books have much more soul.
Hmm, let's see... today I ran around to three different libraries looking for the other Earthsea books. Didn't find them. Went to work. Afterwards, I went to my Taiji (aka Tai Chi) class, which just so happens to be placed in the same building as one of our library branches. So not only did I get to learn some Taiji stuff, but I found the books ^_^ Yay!
