Done! *Breathes Deeply*
Well, I finished Trace Memory. It was great! I mean, it certainly has it's problems, like many video games, but it still had an interesting story line. And it reminded me of Myst. But it was like the "Average People/Impatient Smart People" version. Hahaha. Because everyone knows that only really patient smart people can get through one of the Myst games without cheating. Constantly. So yeah, I feel like laying the plot out for you guys. Here goes:
The main character of the story is a young girl named Ashley Mizuki Robbins who has been raised by her aunt after her parents, both scientists, died eleven years ago. Shortly before her 14th birthday, she receives a package from her father, saying that he is actually alive and he wants her to come meet him to celebrate her birthday. She tracks the letter down to a place called Blood Edward Island, inhabited only by the deserted ruins of a once grand estate. When she goes in search of her father, she comes across a cemetary and is surprised by the ghost of a young boy, who only remember's that he was once called "D". He asks Ashley to help him recover his lost memories. Thus begins Ashley and D's joint journey to discover their pasts in a crumbling mansion filled with secrets and tragic history.
It might suffice to say that this game made me sad (especially the ending), but I was highly curious the whole time. Overall, groovy goodness.
Well, my first two days of classes at Northern have gone well so far. I know I'm going to be panicking come Setptember/October when I have my first papers due, but for right now I don't feel like I want to throw up too much ^_^ I'm absolutely loving my Japanese class. Our instructor is great and I'm slightly proud of my progress so far. I love hiragana! I'm probably going to want to die when the katakana rolls around, but oh well. For now, I love class ^_^
Anywho, I have to run off to sleep now. Classes tomorrow morning and whatnot. I'm so sleepy. Damn transition phases *shakes fist* Later ^_^
-Quotation of the Day- (Time to start fixing my grammar. It's been running amok)
"Nothing interferes with my concentration. You could put on an orgy in my office and I wouldn't look up. Well, maybe once."
-Isaac Asimov- (you gotta love writer/scientists ^_^)
