Glee-ness
I’m all happy now. Lol. One of my fav clubs at dA put me in the “spotlight”. Is it sad that this made my day? I don’t care. :) I just had a long day (7 hours-ish) of photography work without any coffee and seeing that lifted my mood.
Ugg, need to buy more coffee grounds...but by the time I finished all my photography work it was dark out, and the Save-a-lot is located in the ghetto-like area of the city...so I didn’t go. I guess I can go another morning without it. *twitch*
Art thief news: I was dumb and didn’t look in the little right hand corner where it tells your deviantART status. I checked her site again, and noticed it. It says she’s a “banned deviant”. When I saw this I was like Yes! *pumps fist*. Heh, I’m not a very forgiving person. ^^;
Submitted some Halloween stuff in the last few days. Jack’s fun to draw...I might have to experiment more in that style. Also, lol, I like using my new Micron pen. *hugs it* I’m trying to color another Death Note pic...but am having issues. Sigh. There’s another DN pic, put I don’t know how well it will turn out. It will take a lot of experimentation to make it worth putting it up. Hmm. I tried drawing Haku...apparently my drawing class isn’t helping me with my proportion issues. Got to work on that.
*stomach growls* Ah, hungry. Both roommates not home, so I gotta fend for myself. Ramen is handy to have around. *goes off to cook some*

Ah! I’m see-through!
Okay, my two pics are gone from the art thief’s page...but she’s still there. And I didn’t receive any info or contact from the admin. So I don’t know if she’s been warned or, you know, given *any* form of punishment. So I’m kinda ticked off, but at least my pics are gone. I’m going to keep checking her dA page though, just to make sure nothing else of mine pops up there...Thanks for all the support, lol, though I don’t think beating her up will help matters (but thanks for the offer, kevmart83 ^^).
A couple days ago I rented Steam Boy and Spirited Away from my college library (I love how they had those movies, but not the photography book I needed, lol). Watched Steam Boy last night...it was okay. It kinda fell apart towards the end, in my opinion, but I liked the art. Hehe, and this quote: “I can’t! There’s a giant hand chasing me!”
Watched Spirited Away tonight...dear God...I can’t believe I hadn’t seen this earlier. I loved it. It is now part of my favorite-movies-EVER-list. “Ah! I’m see-through!” is one of my favorite quotes now. ^^ I watched all the extras too.
I haven’t really loved the Hayao Miyazaki movies I’ve seen before now...Kiki’s Delivery Service was cute-ish, Mononoke Hime was okay. But now I reallllly wanna see Castle in the Sky and Howl’s Moving Castle. And I want to own Spirited Away...and I want to watch it in Japanese. I watched the dub, because Sam doesn’t like having to read the subtitles and we figured the voices would be okay. Lol, Haku was Jason Marsden...Tino (the Weekenders) and Chester (FOP).
Oh, btw, the first volume of Death note is in stores now. :)

SO PISSED OFF!
Two Last Exile pics of mine were submitted under someone’s account on DeviantART. They were copied from this account (I know this because the one pic is only available here, because of it’s crappily scanned-ness). I reported it, at dA, and I really hope something is done about it because I am really, really pissed off.
I discovered it by accident (like 20 min.s ago), I was searching for some Last Exile fan art because I was bored, and then I saw my really old 3 heads sketch of Dio, that I scanned in awhile ago. I was like "Wha...?" and at first I figured maybe they had placed the heads the same way by some fluke, or maybe they had seen my pic and copied from it (I wouldn’t be that mad about that, since it was just an eye-balled sketch to begin with). But then I noticed the exact lettering of his name, and the crappily scanned-ness and I saw my sig (barely) still there..."wtf?!?"
I was mad, but since it was such an old pencil sketch I wasn’t really sure whether I wanted to fight over it or not, but then I checked the rest of the girl’s gallery. She had MY CLAUS PICTURE. My *colored pencil*, Claus pic. That I spent *hours* on! I have that one at my dA account too. And then I noticed that my Dio pic was her "Featured Deviation" on her site.
So I screamed my head off, and my roommates poked their heads in "Are you okay...?" and I told them, and, lol, Sam started writing up my "violation report" for me. So I did write up two violation reports, and submitted them. And I'm not going to do anything else (my first reaction was wanting to comment with "Why did you STEAL this from my myOtaku account?!?") until I hear something from the administrators. So no yelling at the art thief.
*deep breath* Okay. I feel better. I still have the originals, the proof of when they were submitted, so everything should be fine...still...this is the first time this has happened to me, and I’m rather...angered.
Anyway...another Death Note pic is up, along with another Last Exile. Chibi pics, kinda. Yay.
*goes off to drown anger in chocolate pudding/mashmellow/Oreo-pie*

I Like Costumes
Submitted another pic, more Death Note. Took forever...I'm mad at that manga at the moment. I've read all that is available at this one site so far, and I hope they have more scans soon...cause a certain someone has to come back...or I'll cry...yeah...
Finished making my Halloween costume today. My college has a party, where they give us free food, so I’m definitely going. Hehe, I like seeing everyone in costumes, gotta be the reason I like Ren Fests and cons so much. I'm being a jester, and I like how it turned out. Yay thrift stores and their random/weird cloths. Mwaha, can’t wait to see what it looks like when I have all the face paint on.
Sam's costume is going to rock everyone's socks off. She's going to be Zelda, and she's working very hard on it. Can't wait to see it when she's done.
Haven't gone any homework yet...ehhe...good thing I don't have any classes tomorrow.

Since When Is October This Cold...?
Wow. It’s like 7:30 and I have done nothing productive since I got home from school at 4:40, except zone out on the computer. Arg. I hate that feeling of time wasted. I have homework I should be doing, Goddangit. Sigh. But I don’ wanna...drawing for 5 hours with charcoal and conte crayons kinda wore me out...though I have started inking my next L pic. Bad me. Should be writing another essay.
It’s so friggin’ cold in my apartment right now. We’ve turned off the air, but the building hasn’t turned on the heat yet. So right now I’m shivering in my jeans and two layered shirt. And the mornings...shudder. Scuttle out of bed, make a dash for the coffee pot, do stuff to it so it will make me my life-juice, run back to bed and huddle until I think the coffee is finished. Once I have something hot in me I can stand the coldness. Somewhat. ...I miss my fuzzy slippers. Of all the things to not bring with me...maybe I can double my socks or something.
Our skylight is still leaking. -_-Did I mention in my last post that when we got home from the field trip of doom that we discovered out kitchen drowning? Yeah. I called our fix-it-man-guy, and he came and fixed my shower head (yay) and gave us a big bucket to catch the water from the leak. That’s all that’s happened so far in regards to fixing this problem. Garr.
Working on some more Death Note fan art, and a Hercules (the animated show) pic. Should have something up soon-ish.
Ever see Rejected? This was the only one I found amusing. The other cartoons scared me. Btw, can anyone see my bg? I can’t, so I’m wondering if it’s broke or something.

I Looove My College...Just Not at the Moment
Whew. Html hates me. -_- Put up another fan button (made by me, which is why it’s crap) with a link to scans of my new obsession: Death Note. Loving this manga. On chap 42 at the moment. It’s really cool, if you want to start reading another manga and have some time on your hands, check it out. And I took down the site buttons. Just because. Meh. Some more fan art is up, btw.
Yesterday was my first college field trip. It sucked. We went to Washington DC and nearly drowned- we had to walk from museum to museum in the down pour. I really can’t begin to tell you how wet I was. My hoodie was still wet after the 4 hours it took for me to get back to my apartment. Btw, 4 hours on a bus, (2 spent in traffic, because the genius who thought out this trip decided we should leave during rush hour) wet, with other wet and miserable college students is not fun. I don’t recommend it.
We were supposed to go to New York, but with the terrorist threat they changed it last minute and most of my classmates didn’t learn this till 6:00 AM when they got to the school. Because we didn’t go to NY I couldn’t do the Photography project that we’re supposed to start by picking a photograph that was in a collection only at the MOMA. And there weren’t any photographs in the one art museum I made it too. And I wasn’t going to walk to ever frickin’ museum looking for one in that rain. I kept expecting to see the Ark float past. So now I’m worried about that project, because my teacher is...strict...
Arg. I should be finishing writing a speech for W&O Comm., or writing an essay for Western Art...or my other photography hw...sigh. I think instead I’ll go back to reading Death Note...

Yeah, I’m Still Here.
My goodness. How long has it been? I got internet like a week ago...
Well, I’m totally moved in to my apartment now (except my printer...). Starting Tuesday (I don’t have classes Monday, mwaha) I will begin my 4th week of (art) college. I’m already bored. Sigh. And now I will say stuff about my classes. Yay.
Written & Oral Communications- (8:15-9:40 Tuesday and Thursday) Bore-fest. We’re going over stuff I learned in elementary school. I think the teacher doesn’t want to be a Language arts teacher but rather a history one, which, you know, makes the class enjoyable. Not.
Photography- (10:00-5:00, with a lunch break, Tuesday) I hate it so. It’s so friggin’ long...and 8 hours of homework due every week, my Saturdays are now Photography-Homework-Days. Which sucks. I miss my Saturdays. And I may have cancer now, considering I spilled some Fixer on me, and inhaled quite a lot. Yay.
Western Art- (8:15-9:40 Wednesday and Friday) I like this class. Our professor is fun, and he’s been all over the place, so he knows what he’s talking about when he talks about pyramids, Greek sculpture, and whatnot. Plus, he showed us how to touch statues in museums without getting caught. Heh.
Drawing 1- (10:00-5:00, with a lunch break, Thursday). I get to draw, which is fun. But I’m beginning to despise charcoal…
2D Design- (10:00-5:00, with a lunch break, Friday) Umm…I really don’t like this class. Not as much hatred towards it as I have for Photography though. I guess it has potential...it could get better...*DearGodpleasepleaseplease*
Those are all the classes Freshmen have to take. Sigh. And, now, the Captain Obvious statement: “Art school is expensive”. And I’m not just talking tuition here. I’ve spent over $200-something in Photography alone, already. *sob*. I’m poor! I don’t even want to be a photographer...
Wow, that took up a lot of space...I think I’ll save talking about my classmates and roommates (and the amount of anime I’ve watched lately) for later. *goes off to see what Sam's cooking for dinner*

Going On A Brief Hiatus
Well, this will be my last post for a bit, until I get my computer hooked up at my apartment. I’m taking another load (hopefully my last) of stuff up there tomorrow, and plan on staying. I might be able to check up on ppl’s sites tomorrow, since I’ll be stopping off at my grandparents, but I won’t post until I’m set up.
Otakon was loads of fun. (Sorry I couldn’t take any of you guys with me, lol) Only a few unpleasant things (some smelly ppl and overly-hormone-driven guys), but I had a good time anyway. Lol, spent more then I should...I have a Claus, Alvis, and the goat-thing plushies, ^^ and some LE key chains, and some prints (Kingdom Hearts with Riku and Sora on it, and a Chrono Crusade one) and a Fruits Basket purse...I could go on, but you get the picture.
Submitted two pics yesterday, a LE doodle in Paint, and a pencil sketch of a character from DNAngel. I’m working on fixing a small Gundam Wing pic that the scanner messed up, might have that up today (I should be packing though...ehehe...). Speaking of GW, I like the sub better. The dialogue isn’t as stinted, and I like their Japanese voices better (Duo doesn’t sound like Wolverine on happy pills in the sub ^^).
Meh...guess that’s all I have to say. Bye for now. :)

My First Con. Aren’t You Proud of Me?
Yeah...there’s some more fan art up. Meh.
Yesterday I finally started moving into my apartment. Got my book shelf, drawing desk, computer desk, and computer chair built (whew...). Also one of the bathrooms is pretty furnished. And the kitchen’s looking good. Also got all my manga, and my favorite books and tapes/DVDs up there. T-T I’m going through a little separation anxiety...
Who’s going to Otakon??? I am!!! Mwaha, I’m excited. Never been to a con before. I hope there’s some Last Exile plushies. *crosses fingers*
Anyone watch ‘Arrested Development’? I’m currently in love with that show. “Go back from whence you came!” *throws dead dove that he got at a pet store into the ocean*
On a random note, I have a new Invader ZIM t-shirt. ^^ It says "Destroy Everything!" and has Zim on it looking rather psychotic. Yay, happy dance.

Boo. No, I’m Not Dead.
I’m sorry I haven’t posted in awhile, even though I submitted around 8 different pictures....(most I didn’t use a reference for, so I’m proud of them even though they are a little crappy) Believe it or not, I’ve been somewhat busy.
I know I promised to talk about Italy, and I will, maybe in my next post. ^^; But wouldn’t you want to hear about some current events? ....yes???
I have an apartment. ^^ Yay. My roommates and I can move in on August 1st. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a common room, a kitchen with a big skylight and a door “that leads to nowhere” according to the owner of the building. Deena (one of my roommates) and I have dubbed it “The Twilight Zone Door” and we’re sure it leads to another dimension. I get the smaller room by myself (because of my cat) and Deena and Sam will share the bigger one, which has an adjoining bathroom.
The apartment is only about two city blocks from my college, and lol, I can’t get lost because all I have to do is walk strait. This is a very good thing, considering my notorious lack of direction.
Anyone see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? I don’t care what the newspapers say, I loved it. ^^ Depp was in his element with Wonka. Just the way he said things, or reacted to the kids...I wanna see it again.
“Everything in this room is eatable. In fact even I am eatable but that, dear children, is called cannibalism and is frowned upon in most societies.” Mwahaha.
