   HoND 2 Ranting
Finally finished my 800 word essay on “why I like me” and “what I need to improve about myself”. Ugg. That assignment did nothing for my self-esteem. Maybe it wasn’t supposed to...diabolical teachers....

Trying desperately to find a pic of Clopin to base a drawing on....I have this idea. *gasp* I want to see if I can do it! Yay! I probably can’t! Maybe I should just try to sketch Clopin, and see how that turns out. Then try my idea...

Grr. I think I’ll just quite school so I can draw. There’s never enough time anymore.

Lol, found these articles entertaining. Plus they are influencing my feelings on if I should rent Hunchback of Notre Dame II.

It was a resounding "Dear God NOOOO!" for awhile, but then I heard most of the original voice actors returned for it (I don’t know why, the animation sucks in comparison to the first movie, and it was never in theaters) and Paul Kandel would still be Clopin. Yay! Go Clopin! *does happy dance*

But then I was thinking "What if they ruin my beloved characters? *gasp!* What if they do something to Clopin????"

So, I’m still debating. I might rent it and fast forward through the movie until I see Phoebus and Esmeralda together, or a cute moment with Djali, or some part with Clopin.

Lol, I found this article’s author an interesting person. She considers Quasimodo, Clopin, (heh, I can see that, even though I don’t find him so, I just love him anyway) and Frollo (?! *GAG*!?) handsome, but not Phoebus.

These articles were written before the second movie came out, just previews about it. I wonder if the person ever watched it....

So, has anyone seen HoND II? And what did you think? Even if you haven’t seen it, I wouldn’t mind your opinion. ^^

   I’ve Escaped!!!
I watched the Hunchback of Notre Dame last night. Love Paul Kandell’s voice (plays Clopin). Tehe. I might watch it in French now, since that’s what they should be speaking.

I also watched ‘The making of the Hunchback of Notre Dame’ and it didn’t say anything about Clopin’s character. It’s a conspiracy against me, I’m sure.

So all day I’ve had the ‘Court of Miracles’ and ‘Topsy Turvy’ songs and Clopin’s narrative of the story in the beginning stuck in my head. Also the closing song, which is beautiful.

I dropped Chemistry! Do you know how deliriously happy this makes me? I felt like skipping when I left that classroom (I would’ve too, but our halls are waaay to crowded for skipping). I’m taking Computer Graphics, which is a much better class for my career choice direction. Also, the teacher is nice, and she doesn’t make me feel dumb.

So starting tomorrow I have Computer Graphics! *happy dance*

The only thing I’ll miss about Chemistry is the people in the class. We were all united in our hatred of the course, and our fear of the teacher. Everyone was telling me how lucky I was when they found out today was my last day of Chemistry.

Beth, my former lab partner, is going to drop it too. That’s three people that have dropped out of that class. You’d think the teacher would get the message.

So now I only have one class I dislike. I still have hard classes, I just enjoy those so I don’t dread them.

I really need to draw something soon before my doodling in class gets out of control...

Clopin! My favorite character from the movie:

Chemistry....A Combination Of Math & Science...
I really wish I had more time to draw, lol. My weekends are so busy, and school saps all my energy so when I get home I do my homework and crash.

I really want to draw Frey, and some more LE fan art...I need an idea though. As soon as I install Photoshop Elements I’ll make some Greetings. Yay!

I’m thinking about dropping Chemistry and taking up Graphic Design. I suck at everything mathematical, and science was never my forte. And the teacher is scary. You can’t ask her a question without her making you feel like an idiot.

The highest I could manage in that class would be a C, and by some miracle equivalent to water turning into wine, maybe a low B. But it’s most likely going to be a struggle to get a low C. Her tests are hard, and no multiple choice, which is what has saved me in past science classes.

I’ll still graduate with the 26 credit program if I do drop it. Since I’m going to be meeting with the Guidance Councilor soon I ask her about it and explain that Chemistry is not a class that would ever help me in my career choices, and that Graphic Design would. And there’s an admissions officer that has an art major, so I’ll ask her what she thinks I should do.

And if they both think that taking Graphic Design would be better, I’m dropping Chemistry faster then it takes the teacher to say my name correctly.

My partner is going to kill me if I do that though, lol. Poor Beth. The teacher calls on her a lot, always asking “Do you get it? Beth?”. I don’t know why she does that to her all the time, it’s not like Beth has a natural ‘I’m-not-paying-attention-look’ on her face or anything.

I’m going to go watch Disney’s ‘Hunchback of Notre Dame’ now, lol. I love that movie. Clopin is the best. ^^

   Renaissance Festival
Just got back from dropping my friends off, after the Renaissance Festival. Today was my birthday party with my friends, I had my family one last week.

I love that place. To bad everything is so expensive.

I now have the best hat ever. Well, I think it is, anyway. It’s a beautiful Jester hat, made with nice material, and it looks authentic. And the bells look nifty, they aren’t shiny like Christmas bells, and they have designs on them. The over all colors are black, purple, and green. I’m wearing it now, lol.

I’ll have to see if I can post a picture of it here.

It cost $37, but my friends all chipped in by giving $5 each, I was very touched. And now I’m very happy. ^_^

I love how lots of people are dressed up, lol, even though some aren’t in customs that people wore during the Renaissance. The overall effect is great. I wish everyone could were that stuff all the time, basically take a typical outfit from that time and make it into something you like.

I have to tell my Brit Lit teacher that I saw Grendel’s arm in the Museum of Unnatural History, lol, since we are currently reading Beowulf in class.

I took pictures! Heather, Danielle, Megan, and Rachel threw knives and the razor stars and I got some pictures of that (I stayed away from the pointy objects, though it was tempting). Danielle thought one of the Renfest people that was working at the axe throwing booth was cute, so I took some pictures of him for her, lol.

One of the stall workers said to me "That’s a beautiful hat. Do you feel Foolish in it?"
Me: "Yeah, a little."
Stall lady: "Good, you should."

That may sound like an insult, lol, but that’s not how she meant it.

Over all, a very fun day. I want to go back. There was this nifty purse, almost designed like a Jester’s bag, but it was $24, and I want to be able to afford LE in October, so I didn’t get it.

One clerk read my T-Shirt, while we were waiting for Megan to buy a hair barrette. It’s the “Things You Learn From Video Games” shirt from Hot Topic.

I now have Pocky! Megan bought me some for my birthday. Yay, good stuff. It’s addictive, lol.

Ugg. Didn’t go any homework yesterday or today. So I have to do it all Sunday. Not fun.

*shakes head and the bells on hat jingle* I love this hat. ^__^

Whoa, this was a long post. I don’t have many fun days like this though, lol.

Of Alice 19th, and Elusive Guidance Councilors
Just finished my Sociology outlines, I have a test tomorrow. Ugg. And a math and Brit Lit quiz. Need to study....

I read Alice 19th volumes 4 and 5 today. ^-^

How can Alice love Kyo more then Frey? Lol. I guess I know why, I do see that she’s been mooning over Kyo a long time, and that Frey just pops up all the sudden. But still. Frey is way more entertaining.

Plus, he has cooler hair. ^^

Look! Pictures! (Frey’s the blond one, just in case you don’t know)

I don’t dislike Kyo, but I wish Alice would end up with Frey....

I’m typing this because I think I’m going to draw some Frey fan art, lol, and now you know the reason why.

I might not have time though...Grr. I don’t have time to draw anymore! Evil school.

I was supposed to meet with the school’s guidance councilor today, but they screwed it up by taping another kids pass to my locker, so I don’t know if I was supposed to go when the pass said, and they somehow thought that my name was Justin (lol) or if they haven’t given me my pass to see her yet, and thought Justin’s locker was mine. But I did sign up for a meeting today.

I told the secretary in the main office about it and gave her the pass (since maybe that student was supposed to have received it) and she was like “Oh...okay...”

Yeah. Real competent.

I need to track down the GC and find out...

Not that I want to talk to her about my college plans or anything. But it’s mandatory, and she writes recommendation letters to colleges.

Fan Fiction Is More Important. Right?
“Hey now, it’s your birthday, get happy! Happy when you’re born, happy when you’re young, happy when you’re old and grey!” -Dio’s birthday song composed by Evan on the spur of the moment.

Tatiana, on ship 4: “Ship 5, report your status.”

Dio, on ship 5: “Your guess is as good as mine!”

Tehe. Just re-watched LE “Grand Stream”. I love that anime.

Guess what I did during study hall today? Study? Nooo, that’s what I should have done. Instead I wrote two pages of a fan fiction I thought up in Brit Lit.

So if I get a bad grade on the Chemistry quiz, we all know why. Ah, well, what’s more important?

Lol, don’t answer that.

Shopping Trip
Went shopping. I still have not managed to get a hold of the newly released LE DVD. Grrrrr! I’ve been to FYE twice now, but both times it wasn’t there. It’s always been there before! *sigh* I’ll have to go somewhere else next time...

I did buy a new manga and a pair of earrings though. "Tsubasa" by CLAMP. Yay. It has Sakura and Li in it. But in another dimension. Mwahaha. My kind of manga.

The earrings are screws, lol. They open in the middle and you put both sides on around your ear, so you look like you have a screw through your ear. Tehehe. Only thing is, they are pink. Hmm. Kinda takes away from the effect. Oh well. I like ‘em.

Found a picture of Dio I drew awhile ago. I thought the poltergeist had taken it, but I found it in last years binder. (I just cleaned that thing out, to put in all my new school stuff). Maybe I’ll scan it in. It was my favorite drawing of him.

I have a Spiderman bobble head pen! Huzzah! I love it. ^-^ Now school will be slightly more enjoyable.

*sniff* I think I smell popcorn....I’m going to go see if my nose is correct...

*back from voyage to the downstairs* Popcorn!!! Bye!

Of French LE Sites And Honorable Mentions
Just been surfing the internet, and I came across a French Last Exile site. Lol, even though I took French for +3 years the only thing I understood was the first line of Dio’s biography "Ahh Dio ! Un excellent personnage !" Lol, yes, I quite agree with that sentiment.

Also found scans of what looks like a magazine article about LE, specifically Alvis and Dio. Found it very interesting. "The capricious genius Dio and the innocent Alvis- without a doubt, the future of Prester depends on their actions."

"Capricious" There’s a good word. Lol, I’ll try to use that today.

Found out I only received “Honorable Mention” in the art scholarship I was nominated for. *sigh* I’m kinda sad, but I didn’t really think I’d ‘win’ so I’m not as upset as I might have been.

Trying to draw Tatiana on paper, but she’s being stubborn, very much like her character, lol. She gave me trouble in MS Paint too. Hmm.

If anyone wants to see the sites I just talked about, feel free to ask. I saved the addresses. ^-^

I’m Home!
Waha! No more evil AOL! ^-^

My cat, Tandy, was very happy to see me. He purred. Aw, poor kitty, I’ve been away from him a lot this summer.

Just submitted another picture of Yue that I drew while at my Grandparents, done on drawing paper, and Tatiana made in MS Paint. I think I’ll do Alice next.

I’m reading Dracula, by Bram Stoker (you know, the original). The people in it are really stupid. Especially the women. Grr. The only person that I like in this book is Dr. Van Helsing. And he has his stupid moments too.

Did you know Dracula had a white moustache?
