Invasion of the Inuyasha-Chibi Plushies.
[Fan art update: in the past few days I have submitted 2 GW pics]
Today-*looks at clock* Ahem. Yesterday was interesting. Well, in comparison to the last few anyway. Went shopping, for cloths and graduation presents for some friends. Went to the book store and was bad, I bought the Gundam Wing manga (for me), that was based on the movie. It was the only GW manga they had there, besides a book on the mechs of the show, goshdarnit.
Visiting Suncoast is always fun. I always feel like I belong there. Lol, when I walked in they had Star Wars playing, and a customer, who must have been around 30, was chatting to the cashier about how Luke got the missile into the Death Star. Like I said, the belonging-ness.
I bought a Kyo plushie (not for me, lol, though I wanted him) and some Happy Bunny mints (also not for me) and was waiting at the register when the Star Wars guy pointed at me and said “I have that poster.” For a couple seconds I had no idea what he was talking about but then I realized he was pointing at my ‘What I Learned From Video Games’ T-shirt.
When the cashier started ringing my stuff up he tried to get me to buy an Inuyasha plushie, I told him if I was buying for myself I would, but I was buying presents at the moment. He made the toy ask me to take it home, then explained that the store was being invaded by them, “they keep sending them!”. Then another worker picked up another Inuyasha plushie and made it start moving around, asking me and my sister to buy it.
After I payed for my stuff my sister and I were on our way out when the Star Wars Guy started talking to the workers about my shirt. So they asked me to let them read it. So I stood there, at the exit of the store, while the Suncoast staff gathered around me and read my shirt. It’s the little things in life, ya know?
Sorry about the long post, and me not visiting sites that much. I’ve been online sporadically. I’ll be in Italy from the 20th to the 28th, and I’ve been busy getting ready. I hope to post one more time before I go, but if I don’t: Arrivederci. ;)
