Whee!
I finally started to learn to drive this weekend. Fun. It's about freaking time, I'll be seventeen in October.
Anyway, I had the most rockin'est saturday ever. To raise money for the theatre trip to NYC, we had a car wash/garage sale/bottle drive. I felt like such a ho in my skimpy bathing suit top sudsing up strangers cars- like one of those chicks in the hot rod magazines, you know? Who cares though, I looked super sexy. Plus it was hella fun. Even if I did get this unfortunate weird burn on my upper and lower back (not the middle, though).
We raised over a thousand dollars in a little over four hours, and it was spectacular. Theatre kids are dedicated. I mean, I stood on the street corner for two hours screaming "CAR WASH!!! GARAGE SAAAALLLEEE!!! SUPPORT MARANACOOK THEATRE!!!" at passing cars. Pathetic, I know! ^_^
Well, the bell has rung, and I must be off.
