Sonnet
We were righting sonnets in English and this is mine. Tell me what you think of it! (Note: I did not draw that picture.)
I fall into the darkness of my heart,
Being consumed by the sad life I live.
He said to me, "We'll never be apart."
I gave him all the love I had to give.
Now he leaves me all alone in the dark.
I can no longer trust or feel my love.
As I began to cry tears, I hear, "Hark!"
An angel in white floats down from above.
His hair was red and I eyes, emerald green.
As he came over and sat next to me,
Feeling warm, I asked him, "What does this mean?"
"You never lost your trust or love," said he.
Now my old boyfriend I will never miss,
After my cute angel gave me a kiss.
